﴾ 1 ﴿
The believers (El'Mu'minuun)* have (Qad') succeeded (Af'laha);
قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ
The believers (El'Mu'minuun)* have (Qad') succeeded (Af'laha);

﴾ ٢ ﴿ ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ فِی صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَـٰشِعُونَ
﴾ 2 ﴿
they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) are humble (Khaashi'uun) in (Fii)their litany(Solaati-him'),
ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ فِی صَلَاتِهِمۡ خَـٰشِعُونَ

﴾ ٣ ﴿ وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ
﴾ 3 ﴿
and (Wa) they (Hum) are the ones who (Ellaziina) turn away from (Mu'riduunÄni)nonsense(Ellag'wi),
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ
and (Wa) they (Hum) are the ones who (Ellaziina) turn away from (Mu'riduun Äni) nonsense (Ellag'wi),

﴾ ٤ ﴿ وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِلزَّكَوٰةِ فَـٰعِلُونَ
﴾ 4 ﴿
and (Wa) they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) are active (Faa'iluun) in Charity (Liz’Zakaati),
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِلزَّكَوٰةِ فَـٰعِلُونَ
and (Wa) they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) are active (Faa'iluun) in Charity (Liz’ Zakaati),

﴾ ٥ ﴿ وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَـٰفِظُونَ
﴾ 5 ﴿
and (Wa) they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) guard (HaafizuunLi)their private parts(Furuuji-him)
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِفُرُوجِهِمۡ حَـٰفِظُونَ
and (Wa) they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) guard (Haafizuun Li) their private parts (Furuuji-him)

﴾ 6 ﴿ except(illa) for (Älaa) their spouses (wives)(Az'waaji-him) or (Aw') those (Maa) their right hands (Ai'maanu-hum) possess (Malakat), then (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum) are not (Gai'ru) to be blamed (Maluumiin); (70:29-30)
إِلَّا عَلَىٰۤ أَزۡوَ ٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَیۡرُ مَلُومِینَ
except (illa) for (Älaa) their spouses (wives) (Az'waaji-him) or (Aw') those (Maa) their right hands (Ai'maanu-hum) possess (Malakat), then (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum) are not (Gai'ru) to be blamed (Maluumiin); (70:29-30)

﴾ 7 ﴿
but (Fa) whoever (Mani) desires (Eb'tagaa) beyond (Waraa'a) that (Zaalika), then (Fa) they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who are the trespassers(El'Ääduun). (70:31)
فَمَنِ ٱبۡتَغَىٰ وَرَاۤءَ ذَ ٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡعَادُونَ
but (Fa) whoever (Mani) desires (Eb'tagaa) beyond (Waraa'a) that (Zaalika), then (Fa) they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who are the trespassers (El'Ääduun). (70:31)

﴾ 8 ﴿
And (Wa) they (the believers)(Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) pay attention to (Raa'uunLi)their loyalties(Amaanaati-him) and (Wa)their agreement (Äh'di-him’), (70:32)
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ لِأَمَـٰنَـٰتِهِمۡ وَعَهۡدِهِمۡ رَ ٰعُونَ
And (Wa) they (the believers) (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) pay attention to (Raa'uun Li) their loyalties (Amaanaati-him) and (Wa) their agreement (Äh'di-him’), (70:32)

﴾ 9 ﴿
and (Wa) they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) observe (YuhaafizuunÄlaa)their litanies(2:238)(Solawaati-him);
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ عَلَىٰ صَلَوَ ٰتِهِمۡ یُحَافِظُونَ
and (Wa) they (Hum) are those who (Ellaziina) observe (Yuhaafizuun Älaa) their litanies (2:238) (Solawaati-him);

﴾ ١٠ ﴿ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡوَ ٰرِثُونَ
﴾ 10 ﴿
they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who are the inheritors(El'Waarithuun),
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡوَ ٰرِثُونَ
they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who are the inheritors (El'Waarithuun),

﴾ 11 ﴿
who (Ellaziina) will inherit (Yarithuuna) Paradise (El'Fir'daw'sa); they (Hum) will be therein (Fiiha) eternally (Khaaliduun).
ٱلَّذِینَ یَرِثُونَ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسَ هُمۡ فِیهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ

And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') created (Khalaq'naa) the human being (El'Insaana) from (Min) an extraction (Sulaalatin) of (Min) clay (Tiin),
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ مِن سُلَـٰلَةࣲ مِّن طِینࣲ

ثُمَّ جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ نُطۡفَةࣰ فِی قَرَارࣲ مَّكِینࣲ
then (Thumma) We rendered him (Jaäl'naa-hu) as a sperm (Nut'fatan), deeply-rooted (Makiin) in (Fii) a base (Qaraarin),

﴾ 14 ﴿
then (Thumma) We created (Khalaq'na) the sperm (En'Nut'fata) into a thrombus (blood clot)(Älaqatan), then (Fa) We created (Khalaq'na) the thrombus (El'Älaqata) into an embryo (Mud'gatan), then (Fa) We created (Khalaq'na) the embryo (El'Mud'gata) into bones (Ezoaman), then (Fa) We covered (Kasaw'naa) the bones (El'Ezoama) with flesh (Lah'man); thus (Thumma) We established him (Ansha'naa-hu) into another (Aakhar) creation (Khal'qan). And (Fa) blessed is GOD (Tabaaraka-llahu), the best (Ah'sanu) of creators (El'Khaaliqiin).
ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَـٰمࣰا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَـٰمَ لَحۡمࣰا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَـٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقِینَ

Then (Thumma) indeed, you (p)(Innakum) will (La) die (Mayyituun) after (Ba'da) that (Zaalika).
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُم بَعۡدَ ذَ ٰلِكَ لَمَیِّتُونَ
Then (Thumma) indeed, you (p) (Innakum) will (La) die (Mayyituun) after (Ba'da) that (Zaalika).

﴾ 16 ﴿
Then (Thumma) indeed, you (Innakum) will be resurrected (Tub'äthuun) on the Day of Resurrection(75:6)(Yaw'mal'Qiyaamati).
ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ تُبۡعَثُونَ
Then (Thumma) indeed, you (Innakum) will be resurrected (Tub'äthuun) on the Day of Resurrection (75:6) (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati).

﴾ 17 ﴿
And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') created (Khalaq'naa)seven(Sab'ä)routes(Toraa'iqa) above you (p)(Faw'qa-kum), and (Wa) We are (Kunna) not (Maa) heedless (Gaafiliin) of (Äni) the creation (El'Khal'qi).
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعَ طَرَاۤىِٕقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلۡخَلۡقِ غَـٰفِلِینَ
And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') created (Khalaq'naa) seven (Sab'ä) routes (Toraa'iqa) above you (p) (Faw'qa-kum), and (Wa) We are (Kunna) not (Maa) heedless (Gaafiliin) of (Äni) the creation (El'Khal'qi).

﴾ 18 ﴿
And (Wa) We send down (Anzal'na) water (Maa'a) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) by (Bi) measure (Qadarin) and (Fa) lodge it (As'kannaa-hu) in (Fii) the earth (El'Ar'di). Indeed (Innaa), We are (La) able to (QaadiruunÄlaa) take it away (ZahaabiBihi)
وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءَۢ بِقَدَرࣲ فَأَسۡكَنَّـٰهُ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَـٰدِرُونَ
And (Wa) We send down (Anzal'na) water (Maa'a) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) by (Bi) measure (Qadarin) and (Fa) lodge it (As'kannaa-hu) in (Fii) the earth (El'Ar'di). Indeed (Innaa), We are (La) able to (Qaadiruun Älaa) take it away (Zahaabi Bihi)

﴾ 19 ﴿
to (Fa) establish (Ansha'naa) gardens (Jannaatin) of (Min) date palms (Nakhiilin) thereby (Bihi) as well as (Wa) grapes (A'naabin) for you (Lakum), wherein (Fiiha) you have (Lakum) many (Kathiiratun) fruits (Fawaakihu) from which (Min'ha) you eat (Ta'kuluun),
فَأَنشَأۡنَا لَكُم بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتࣲ مِّن نَّخِیلࣲ وَأَعۡنَـٰبࣲ لَّكُمۡ فِیهَا فَوَ ٰكِهُ كَثِیرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
to (Fa) establish (Ansha'naa) gardens (Jannaatin) of (Min) date palms (Nakhiilin) thereby (Bihi) as well as (Wa) grapes (A'naabin) for you (Lakum), wherein (Fiiha) you have (Lakum) many (Kathiiratun) fruits (Fawaakihu) from which (Min'ha) you eat (Ta'kuluun),

﴾ 20 ﴿
and (Wa) it brings forth (Takh'ruju) a tree (Shajaratan) out of (Min)Mount(Tuuri)Sinai(95:2)(Sai'naa'a) which grows (TanbutuBi) fatty oil (Ed'Duh'ni) and (Wa) pigment (Sib'gin) for the consumers (Lil'Aakiliin).
وَشَجَرَةࣰ تَخۡرُجُ مِن طُورِ سَیۡنَاۤءَ تَنۢبُتُ بِٱلدُّهۡنِ وَصِبۡغࣲ لِّلۡـَٔاكِلِینَ
and (Wa) it brings forth (Takh'ruju) a tree (Shajaratan) out of (Min) Mount (Tuuri) Sinai (95:2) (Sai'naa'a) which grows (Tanbutu Bi) fatty oil (Ed'Duh'ni) and (Wa) pigment (Sib'gin) for the consumers (Lil' Aakiliin).

﴾ 21 ﴿
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), there is (La)a lesson(Eb'ratan) in (Fii) livestock (El'An'äämi) for you (p)(Lakum). We give you drink (Nus'qii-kum) from what (Mimmaa) is in (Fii) their bellies (Butuuni-haa), and (Wa) you have (Lakum) many (Kathiiratun) benefits (Manaafiu) in them (Fiihaa), and from them (Min'haa) you eat (Ta'kuluun),
وَإِنَّ لَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ لَعِبۡرَةࣰۖ نُّسۡقِیكُم مِّمَّا فِی بُطُونِهَا وَلَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ كَثِیرَةࣱ وَمِنۡهَا تَأۡكُلُونَ
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), there is (La) a lesson (Eb'ratan) in (Fii) livestock (El'An'äämi) for you (p) (Lakum). We give you drink (Nus'qii-kum) from what (Mimmaa) is in (Fii) their bellies (Butuuni-haa), and (Wa) you have (Lakum) many (Kathiiratun) benefits (Manaafiu) in them (Fiihaa), and from them (Min'haa) you eat (Ta'kuluun),

﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ وَعَلَیۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ
﴾ 22 ﴿
and (Wa) upon them (Älai'haa) and (Wa) on (Älaa) the ships (El'Ful'ki) you are carried (transported)(Tuh'maluun).
وَعَلَیۡهَا وَعَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ تُحۡمَلُونَ
and (Wa) upon them (Älai'haa) and (Wa) on (Älaa) the ships (El'Ful'ki) you are carried (transported) (Tuh'maluun).

﴾ 23 ﴿
And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') sent (-Ar'sal'naa) Noah (Nuuhan) to (ilaa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), and (Fa) he said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'budu'llaha). You have (Lakum) no (MaaMin') god (ilaahin) besides HIM (Gai'ruhu). Will you then not (Afalaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?"
وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَقَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ غَیۡرُهُۥۤۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') sent (-Ar'sal'naa) Noah (Nuuhan) to (ilaa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), and (Fa) he said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), worship GOD (E'budu'llaha). You have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') god (ilaahin) besides HIM (Gai'ruhu). Will you then not (Afalaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?"

﴾ 24 ﴿
But (Fa) the assembly (El'Malau') who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') among (Min) his people (Qaw'mi-hi) said (Qaala), "This (Haaza) is only (Maailla) a human (Basharun) like you (Mith'lu-kum) who intends (Yuriidu) to (An) oblige you (TafaddolaÄlai'kum); and if (Walaw') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu) HE would have (La) sent down (Anzala) Angels (Malaaikatan). We have not (Maa) heard (Sami'naa) of (Bi) this (Haaza) among (Fii) our forefathers (Aabaa'i-naaEl'Awwaliin).
فَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوۡمِهِۦ مَا هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ یُرِیدُ أَن یَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَلَوۡ شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةࣰ مَّا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِیۤ ءَابَاۤىِٕنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
But (Fa) the assembly (El'Malau') who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') among (Min) his people (Qaw'mi-hi) said (Qaala), "This (Haaza) is only (Maa illa) a human (Basharun) like you (Mith'lu-kum) who intends (Yuriidu) to (An) oblige you (Tafaddola Älai'kum); and if (Walaw') GOD had willed (Shaa'a-llahu) HE would have (La) sent down (Anzala) Angels (Malaaikatan). We have not (Maa) heard (Sami'naa) of (Bi) this (Haaza) among (Fii) our forefathers (Aabaa'i-naa El'Awwaliin).

﴾ 25 ﴿
"He (Huwa) is only (Inilla) a man (Rajulu) with (Bihi) madness (Jinnatun), so (Fa) wait for him (Tarabbasu'Bi-hi) until (Hattaa) a time (Hiin)."
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلُۢ بِهِۦ جِنَّةࣱ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ بِهِۦ حَتَّىٰ حِینࣲ
"He (Huwa) is only (In illa) a man (Rajulu) with (Bihi) madness (Jinnatun), so (Fa) wait for him (Tarabbasu' Bi-hi) until (Hattaa) a time (Hiin)."

﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِی بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ
﴾ 26 ﴿
He (Noah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), help me (Ensur'nii) because (Bimaa) they have denied me (Kazzabuuni)."
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱنصُرۡنِی بِمَا كَذَّبُونِ
He (Noah) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), help me (Ensur'nii) because (Bimaa) they have denied me (Kazzabuuni)."

﴾ 27 ﴿
So (Fa) We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to him (ilai'hi) that (Ani), "Construct (Es'nae) a ship (El'Ful'ka) before (Bi)Our eyes(Ai'yuni-naa) and (Wa)Our inspiration(Wah'yi-naa), and (Fa) when (Izaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) comes (Jaa'a) and (Wa) the furnace (11:40)(Ettannuur) boils (Faara), then (Fa) put (Es'luk) therein (Fiiha) of (Min) every (Kulli) two (Eth'nai'ni) kind (Zaw'jai'ni) as well as (Wa) your family (Ah'la-ka) except (illa) those (Man) for whom (Min'hum) the word (El'Qaw'lu) will overcome (SabaqaÄlai'hi). And do not (Walaa) address ME (Tukhaatib'nii) concerning (Fii) those who (Ellaziina) have transgressed (Zolamuu'); indeed, they (Innahum) will be drowned (Mug'raquun).
فَأَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِ أَنِ ٱصۡنَعِ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ بِأَعۡیُنِنَا وَوَحۡیِنَا فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَمۡرُنَا وَفَارَ ٱلتَّنُّورُ فَٱسۡلُكۡ فِیهَا مِن كُلࣲّ زَوۡجَیۡنِ ٱثۡنَیۡنِ وَأَهۡلَكَ إِلَّا مَن سَبَقَ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَا تُخَـٰطِبۡنِی فِی ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوۤا۟ إِنَّهُم مُّغۡرَقُونَ
So (Fa) We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to him (ilai'hi) that (Ani), "Construct (Es'nae) a ship (El'Ful'ka) before (Bi) Our eyes (Ai'yuni-naa) and (Wa) Our inspiration (Wah'yi-naa), and (Fa) when (Izaa) Our command (Am'ru-naa) comes (Jaa'a) and (Wa) the furnace (11:40) (Ettannuur) boils (Faara), then (Fa) put (Es'luk) therein (Fiiha) of (Min) every (Kulli) two (Eth'nai'ni) kind (Zaw'jai'ni) as well as (Wa) your family (Ah'la-ka) except (illa) those (Man) for whom (Min'hum) the word (El'Qaw'lu) will overcome (Sabaqa Älai'hi). And do not (Walaa) address ME (Tukhaatib'nii) concerning (Fii) those who (Ellaziina) have transgressed (Zolamuu'); indeed, they (Innahum) will be drowned (Mug'raquun).

﴾ 28 ﴿
"And (Fa) when (Izaa) you (Noah)(Anta) and those (Waman) with you (Maäka) have firmly sat on (Es'tawai'taÄlaa) the ship (the ark)(El'Ful'ki), then (Fa)say(Quli): 'Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi) who (Ellazii) has rescued us (Najjaa-naa) from (Mina) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (El'Qaw'mi).'
فَإِذَا ٱسۡتَوَیۡتَ أَنتَ وَمَن مَّعَكَ عَلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ فَقُلِ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِی نَجَّىٰنَا مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ
"And (Fa) when (Izaa) you (Noah) (Anta) and those (Waman) with you (Maäka) have firmly sat on (Es'tawai'ta Älaa) the ship (the ark) (El'Ful'ki), then (Fa) say (Quli): 'Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi) who (Ellazii) has rescued us (Najjaa-naa) from (Mina) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (El'Qaw'mi).'

﴾ 29 ﴿
“And (Wa)say(Qul): 'LORD (Rabbi), let me alight (Anzil'nii) at a blessed (Mubaarakan) domicile (Munzalan), for (Wa) YOU (Anta) are the best (Khai'ru) of accommodators (El'Munziliin).' "
وَقُل رَّبِّ أَنزِلۡنِی مُنزَلࣰا مُّبَارَكࣰا وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِینَ

Indeed (Inna), there are (La)signs(Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), for (Wa) indeed (In), We are (Kunna) surely (La) testing (Mub'taliin).
إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ وَإِن كُنَّا لَمُبۡتَلِینَ
Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika), for (Wa) indeed (In), We are (Kunna) surely (La) testing (Mub'taliin).

Then (Thumma) We established (Ansha'naa) another (Aakhariin) generation (Qar'nan) after them (MinBa'di-him)

﴾ 32 ﴿
and (Fa) sent (Ar'sal'naa) among them (Fiihim)a messenger(Rasuulan) from themselves (Min'hum) that (Ani), "Worship GOD (E'budu'llaha), you have (Lakum) no (MaaMin') god (ilaahin) other than HIM (Gai'ruhu). Will you then not (Afalaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?"
فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا فِیهِمۡ رَسُولࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ غَیۡرُهُۥۤۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
and (Fa) sent (Ar'sal'naa) among them (Fiihim) a messenger (Rasuulan) from themselves (Min'hum) that (Ani), "Worship GOD (E'budu'llaha), you have (Lakum) no (Maa Min') god (ilaahin) other than HIM (Gai'ruhu). Will you then not (Afalaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?"

But (Wa) the assembly (El'Malau) who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') and denied (Kazzabu'Bi) the meeting (Liqaai) of the hereafter (El'Aakhirati) while (Wa) We had surrounded them with luxury (At'raf'naa-hum) in (Fii) the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaati) among (Min) his people (Qaw'mi-hi) said (Qaala), "This (Haaza) is only (Maailla) a human (Basharun) like you (Mith'lu-kum) who eats (Ya'kulu) from what (Mimmaa) you eat (Ta'kuluuna) and drinks (Yash'rabu) from what (Mimmaa) you drink (Tash'rabuun).
وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِن قَوۡمِهِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِلِقَاۤءِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَأَتۡرَفۡنَـٰهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا مَا هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ یَأۡكُلُ مِمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ مِنۡهُ وَیَشۡرَبُ مِمَّا تَشۡرَبُونَ

وَلَىِٕنۡ أَطَعۡتُم بَشَرࣰا مِّثۡلَكُمۡ إِنَّكُمۡ إِذࣰا لَّخَـٰسِرُونَ
"And (Wa) if (La'in') you should obey (Ato'tum) a human (Basharan) like you (Mith'la-kum), indeed, you (Innakum) in that case (Izan) would be (La) losers (Khaasiruun).

"Does he promise you (Ai'edu-kum) that (Annakum) when (Izaa) you have died (Mittum') and (Wa) become (Kuntum) dust (Turaaban) and bones (Ezoaman), that you (Annakum) will be brought forth (Mukh'rajuun)?
أَیَعِدُكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ إِذَا مِتُّمۡ وَكُنتُمۡ تُرَابࣰا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَنَّكُم مُّخۡرَجُونَ

"There is (Hiya) only (In'illa) our (-naa) worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (Hayaatu-); we live(Nah'ya) and die(Namuutu), and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (MaaBi) be resurrected (Mab'uuthiin).
إِنۡ هِیَ إِلَّا حَیَاتُنَا ٱلدُّنۡیَا نَمُوتُ وَنَحۡیَا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَبۡعُوثِینَ
"There is (Hiya) only (In' illa) our (-naa) worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (Hayaatu-); we live (Nah'ya) and die (Namuutu), and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (Maa Bi) be resurrected (Mab'uuthiin).

"He (Huwa) is only (In'illa) a man (Rajulun) who has fabricated (Ef'taraa) falsehood (Kaziban) about GOD (Älaallahi), and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (MaaBi) believe him (Mu'miniinLahu)."
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبࣰا وَمَا نَحۡنُ لَهُۥ بِمُؤۡمِنِینَ

He (the messenger) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), help me (Ensur'nii) because (Bimaa) they have denied me (Kazzabuuni)."

HE (God) said (Qaala), "After (Ämmaa) a while (Qaliilin) they will (La) become (Yus'bihunna) regretful (Naadimiin)."
قَالَ عَمَّا قَلِیلࣲ لَّیُصۡبِحُنَّ نَـٰدِمِینَ
HE (God) said (Qaala), "After (Ämmaa) a while (Qaliilin) they will (La) become (Yus'bihunna) regretful (Naadimiin)."

So (Fa) the blast (Es'Soi'hatu) seized them (Akhazat'humu) in truth (Bil'Haqqi), and (Fa) We rendered them (Jaäl'naa-hum') as scum (trash)(Guthaa'an); so (Fa) away with (Bu'dan) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (Lil'Qaw'mi).
فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلصَّیۡحَةُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُمۡ غُثَاۤءࣰۚ فَبُعۡدࣰا لِّلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ

No (Maa Min') nation (Ummatin) will precede (Tas'biqu) its term (Ajala-haa) nor (Wamaa) will they be delayed (Yas'ta'khiruun).
مَا تَسۡبِقُ مِنۡ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا یَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ
No (Maa Min') nation (Ummatin) will precede (Tas'biqu) its term (Ajala-haa) nor (Wamaa) will they be delayed (Yas'ta'khiruun).

Thus (Fa) We caused them to follow each other (At'ba'naa Ba'da-hum Ba'doan) and (Wa) rendered them (Jaäl'naa-hum')discourses(Ahaadiitha). So (Fa) away with (Bu'dan Li) a people (Qaw'mi) who do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).
ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلَنَا تَتۡرَاۖ كُلَّ مَا جَاۤءَ أُمَّةࣰ رَّسُولُهَا كَذَّبُوهُۖ فَأَتۡبَعۡنَا بَعۡضَهُم بَعۡضࣰا وَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُمۡ أَحَادِیثَۚ فَبُعۡدࣰا لِّقَوۡمࣲ لَّا یُؤۡمِنُونَ

Then (Thumma) We sent (Ar'sal'naa) Moses (Muusaa) and (Wa) his brother (Akhaa-hu) Aaron (Haaruuna) with (Bi) Our signs (miracles)(Aayaati-naa) and a clear (Mubiin) authority (Sul'toanin)
ثُمَّ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ وَأَخَاهُ هَـٰرُونَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا وَسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ مُّبِینٍ
Then (Thumma) We sent (Ar'sal'naa) Moses (Muusaa) and (Wa) his brother (Akhaa-hu) Aaron (Haaruuna) with (Bi) Our signs (miracles) (Aayaati-naa) and a clear (Mubiin) authority (Sul'toanin)

to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na) and (Wa) his assembly (Malai'hi), but (Fa) they became arrogant (Es'tak'baru') and became (Kaanu') a haughty (Ääliin) people (Qaw'man).
إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَمَلَإِی۟هِۦ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ قَوۡمًا عَالِینَ
to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na) and (Wa) his assembly (Malai'hi), but (Fa) they became arrogant (Es'tak'baru') and became (Kaanu') a haughty (Ääliin) people (Qaw'man).

And (Fa) they said (Qaaluu'), "Should we believe (A'nu'minuLi)two men(Basharai'ni) like us (Mith'li-naa) while (Wa) their people (Qaw'mu-humaa) are our slaves(ÄäbiduunLa-naa)?"
فَقَالُوۤا۟ أَنُؤۡمِنُ لِبَشَرَیۡنِ مِثۡلِنَا وَقَوۡمُهُمَا لَنَا عَـٰبِدُونَ
And (Fa) they said (Qaaluu'), "Should we believe (A'nu'minu Li) two men (Basharai'ni) like us (Mith'li-naa) while (Wa) their people (Qaw'mu-humaa) are our slaves (Ääbiduun La-naa)?"

So (Fa) they denied them both (Kazzabuu-humaa) and (Fa) were (Kaanu') among (Mina) those annihilated (El'Muh'lakiin).
فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلۡمُهۡلَكِینَ
So (Fa) they denied them both (Kazzabuu-humaa) and (Fa) were (Kaanu') among (Mina) those annihilated (El'Muh'lakiin).

And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') gave (-Aatai'naa) Moses (Muusaa) the Book (El'Kitaaba) that they (Laällahum') would be guided (Yah'taduun).
وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَا مُوسَى ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَهۡتَدُونَ
And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') gave (-Aatai'naa) Moses (Muusaa) the Book (El'Kitaaba) that they (Laällahum') would be guided (Yah'taduun).

﴾ 50 ﴿
And (Wa) We made (Jaäl'naa) the son (Eb'na) of Mary (Mar'yama) and his mother (Umma-hu) a sign (miracle)(Aayatan) and provided shelter for them both (Aawai'naa-humaa) at (ilaa)a hill(Rab'watin) with (Zaati) a lowland (base)(Qaraarin) and spring water (Ma’een).
وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ وَأُمَّهُۥۤ ءَایَةࣰ وَءَاوَیۡنَـٰهُمَاۤ إِلَىٰ رَبۡوَةࣲ ذَاتِ قَرَارࣲ وَمَعِینࣲ
And (Wa) We made (Jaäl'naa) the son (Eb'na) of Mary (Mar'yama) and his mother (Umma-hu) a sign (miracle) (Aayatan) and provided shelter for them both (Aawai'naa-humaa) at (ilaa) a hill (Rab'watin) with (Zaati) a lowland (base) (Qaraarin) and spring water (Ma’een).

"O you (YaaAyyuha)the messengers(Er'Rusulu), eat (Kulu') from (Mina) the good things (Ettoyyibaati) and (Wa) act (E'malu') righteous (Soalihan). Indeed, I am (Innii) aware (Äliim) of whatever (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluuna).
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلرُّسُلُ كُلُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلطَّیِّبَـٰتِ وَٱعۡمَلُوا۟ صَـٰلِحًاۖ إِنِّی بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ عَلِیمࣱ
"O you (Yaa Ayyuha) the messengers (Er'Rusulu), eat (Kulu') from (Mina) the good things (Ettoyyibaati) and (Wa) act (E'malu') righteous (Soalihan). Indeed, I am (Innii) aware (Äliim) of whatever (Bimaa) you do (Ta'maluuna).

“And (Wa) indeed (Inna), this (Haazihi) your nation (Ummatu-kum') is one (Waahidatan) nation (Ummatan), and I am (An') your LORD (Rabbu-kum'), so (Fa) reverence ME (Ettaquuni).”
وَإِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦۤ أُمَّتُكُمۡ أُمَّةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ وَأَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمۡ فَٱتَّقُونِ
“And (Wa) indeed (Inna), this (Haazihi) your nation (Ummatu-kum') is one (Waahidatan) nation (Ummatan), and I am (An') your LORD (Rabbu-kum'), so (Fa) reverence ME (Ettaquuni).”

But (Fa) they divided (Taqattouu') their affair (Am'ra-hum) among them (Bai'nahum') into sects (Zuburan); each (Kullu) party (Hiz'bi) rejoicing (Farihuun) in what (Bimaa) it has (Ladai'him').
فَتَقَطَّعُوۤا۟ أَمۡرَهُم بَیۡنَهُمۡ زُبُرࣰاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَیۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ
But (Fa) they divided (Taqattouu') their affair (Am'ra-hum) among them (Bai'nahum') into sects (Zuburan); each (Kullu) party (Hiz'bi) rejoicing (Farihuun) in what (Bimaa) it has (Ladai'him').

﴾ ٥٤ ﴿ فَذَرۡهُمۡ فِی غَمۡرَتِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِینٍ

Therefore (Fa) leave them (Zar'hum') in (Fii) their confusion (Gam'rati-him') until (Hattaa) a time (Hiin).
فَذَرۡهُمۡ فِی غَمۡرَتِهِمۡ حَتَّىٰ حِینٍ
Therefore (Fa) leave them (Zar'hum') in (Fii) their confusion (Gam'rati-him') until (Hattaa) a time (Hiin).

Do they think (A-yah'sabuuna) that what (Annamaa) We have provided for them (Numiddu-humBi-hi) of (Min)wealth(Maalin) and (Wa)children(Baniin),
أَیَحۡسَبُونَ أَنَّمَا نُمِدُّهُم بِهِۦ مِن مَّالࣲ وَبَنِینَ
Do they think (A-yah'sabuuna) that what (Annamaa) We have provided for them (Numiddu-hum Bi-hi) of (Min) wealth (Maalin) and (Wa) children (Baniin),

We are hastening (Nusaariu) for them (Lahum') in (Fii) goodness (El'Khai'raati)? In fact (Bal), they do not (Laa) perceive (Yash'uruun).
نُسَارِعُ لَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰتِۚ بَل لَّا یَشۡعُرُونَ
We are hastening (Nusaariu) for them (Lahum') in (Fii) goodness (El'Khai'raati)? In fact (Bal), they do not (Laa) perceive (Yash'uruun).

Indeed (Inna), they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) are fearful (Mush'fiquun) from (Min') fear (Khash'yati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him),
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ هُم مِّنۡ خَشۡیَةِ رَبِّهِم مُّشۡفِقُونَ
Indeed (Inna), they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) are fearful (Mush'fiquun) from (Min') fear (Khash'yati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him),

and (Wa) they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) believe (Yu'minuun) in (Bi) the verses (Aayaati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him'),
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِـَٔایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ یُؤۡمِنُونَ
and (Wa) they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) believe (Yu'minuun) in (Bi) the verses (Aayaati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him'),

and (Wa) they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) associate others (Yush'rikuun) with (Bi) their LORD (Rabbi-him'),
وَٱلَّذِینَ هُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ لَا یُشۡرِكُونَ
and (Wa) they (Hum) who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) associate others (Yush'rikuun) with (Bi) their LORD (Rabbi-him'),

and (Wa) who (Ellaziina) give (Yu'tuuna) what (Maa) they give (Aataw') while (Wa) their hearts (Quluubu-hum') are fearful(Wajilatun) because they (Annahum') will return (Raajiuun) to (ilaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him');
وَٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡتُونَ مَاۤ ءَاتَوا۟ وَّقُلُوبُهُمۡ وَجِلَةٌ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ رَ ٰجِعُونَ
and (Wa) who (Ellaziina) give (Yu'tuuna) what (Maa) they give (Aataw') while (Wa) their hearts (Quluubu-hum') are fearful (Wajilatun) because they (Annahum') will return (Raajiuun) to (ilaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him');

those (U'laaika) are the ones hastening (Yusaari'uuna) in (Fii) goodness (El'Khai'raati), and (Wa) they (Hum') compete (Saabiquun) thereto (Lahaa).
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ یُسَـٰرِعُونَ فِی ٱلۡخَیۡرَ ٰتِ وَهُمۡ لَهَا سَـٰبِقُونَ
those (U'laaika) are the ones hastening (Yusaari'uuna) in (Fii) goodness (El'Khai'raati), and (Wa) they (Hum') compete (Saabiquun) thereto (Lahaa).

And (Wa) We do not (Laa) charge (Nukallifu) a soul (Naf'san) except (illa) its capacity (Wus'ä-haa), and (Wa) with Us (Ladai'naa) is a register(Kitaabun) which utters (YantiquBi) the truth (El'Haqqi); and (Wa) they (Hum') will not (Laa) be wronged (Yuz'lamuun).

"MY verses (Aayaatii) were (Kaanat') certainly (Qad’) recited to you (Tut'laaÄlai'kum'), but (Fa) you were (Kuntum') turning away (Tankisuun) on (Älaa) your heels (A'qaabi-kum')
قَدۡ كَانَتۡ ءَایَـٰتِی تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَكُنتُمۡ عَلَىٰۤ أَعۡقَـٰبِكُمۡ تَنكِصُونَ

Do they then not (Afalam') contemplate (Yaddabbaru')the word(El'Qaw'la), or (Am') has there come to them (Jaa'a-hum) what (Maa) had not (Lam') come (Ya'ti) to their forefathers (Aabaa'a-humul'Awwaliin)?
أَفَلَمۡ یَدَّبَّرُوا۟ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ أَمۡ جَاۤءَهُم مَّا لَمۡ یَأۡتِ ءَابَاۤءَهُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
Do they then not (Afalam') contemplate (Yaddabbaru') the word (El'Qaw'la), or (Am') has there come to them (Jaa'a-hum) what (Maa) had not (Lam') come (Ya'ti) to their forefathers (Aabaa'a-humul' Awwaliin)?

Or (Am') do they not (Lam') recognize (Ya'rifu') their messenger (Rasuula-hum'), so (Fa) they (Hum') are in denial (Munkiruun) of him (Lahu)?
أَمۡ لَمۡ یَعۡرِفُوا۟ رَسُولَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ
Or (Am') do they not (Lam') recognize (Ya'rifu') their messenger (Rasuula-hum'), so (Fa) they (Hum') are in denial (Munkiruun) of him (Lahu)?

Or (Am') are they saying (Yaquuluuna) there is madness (Jinnatu) in him (Bihi)? In fact (Bal'), he has brought (Jaa'a-humBi)the truth(El'Haqqi), but (Wa) most of them (Ak'tharu-hum') hate (Kaarihuun) the truth (Lil'Haqqi). (43:78)
أَمۡ یَقُولُونَ بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۚ بَلۡ جَاۤءَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَـٰرِهُونَ

وَلَوِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلۡحَقُّ أَهۡوَاۤءَهُمۡ لَفَسَدَتِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَن فِیهِنَّۚ بَلۡ أَتَیۡنَـٰهُم بِذِكۡرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ عَن ذِكۡرِهِم مُّعۡرِضُونَ
And (Wa) if (Lawi) the truth (El'Haqqu) had conformed to (Ettabaä) their inclinations (Ah'waa'a-hum'), the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'du) and whoever (Man) is therein (Fiihinna) would have (La) been corrupted (Fasadati). Or (Am') are you asking them (Tas'alu-hum') for a tribute(Khar'jan)? But (Fa) the tribute (Kharaaju) of your LORD (s)(Rabbi-ka) is better (Khai'run), for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the best (Khai'ru) of providers (Er'Raaziqiin).
أَمۡ تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ خَرۡجࣰا فَخَرَاجُ رَبِّكَ خَیۡرࣱۖ وَهُوَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰزِقِینَ
Or (Am') are you asking them (Tas'alu-hum') for a tribute (Khar'jan)? But (Fa) the tribute (Kharaaju) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) is better (Khai'run), for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the best (Khai'ru) of providers (Er'Raaziqiin).

And (Wa) indeed, you (s)(Innaka) are (La) inviting them (Tad'uu-hum') to (ilaa)a straight(Mus'taqiim)path(Siraatin). (6:153)
وَإِنَّكَ لَتَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ
And (Wa) indeed, you (s) (Innaka) are (La) inviting them (Tad'uu-hum') to (ilaa) a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatin). (6:153)

And (Wa) indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) in the hereafter (Bil'Aakhirati) are (La) deviating (Naakibuun) from (Äni)the path(Es'Siraati).
وَإِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ عَنِ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطِ لَنَـٰكِبُونَ
And (Wa) indeed (Inna), those who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuuna) in the hereafter (Bil' Aakhirati) are (La) deviating (Naakibuun) from (Äni) the path (Es'Siraati).

And (Wa) even if (Law') We had mercy upon them (Rahim'naa-hum') and removed (Kashaf'naa) what (Maa) was with them (Bihim) of (Min) adversity (Durrin), they would (La) persist (Lajju') in (Fii) their transgression (Tug'yaani-him'), straying (Ya'mahuun).
۞ وَلَوۡ رَحِمۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَكَشَفۡنَا مَا بِهِم مِّن ضُرࣲّ لَّلَجُّوا۟ فِی طُغۡیَـٰنِهِمۡ یَعۡمَهُونَ
And (Wa) even if (Law') We had mercy upon them (Rahim'naa-hum') and removed (Kashaf'naa) what (Maa) was with them (Bihim) of (Min) adversity (Durrin), they would (La) persist (Lajju') in (Fii) their transgression (Tug'yaani-him'), straying (Ya'mahuun).

وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَـٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ فَمَا ٱسۡتَكَانُوا۟ لِرَبِّهِمۡ وَمَا یَتَضَرَّعُونَ
And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') seized them (Akhaz'naa-hum) with punishment (Bil' Äzaabi), but (Fa) they do not (Maa) humble (Es'takaanu') to (Li) their LORD (Rabbi-him'), nor (Wamaa) do they implore (Yatadorra'uun),

until (Hattaa), when (Izaa) We have opened (Fatah'naa) the gate (Baaban) of (Zaa) a severe (Shadiidin) punishment (Äzaabin) to them (Älai'him), then (Izaa) they (Hum') are in despair (Mub'lisuun) therein (Fiihi).
حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا فَتَحۡنَا عَلَیۡهِم بَابࣰا ذَا عَذَابࣲ شَدِیدٍ إِذَا هُمۡ فِیهِ مُبۡلِسُونَ
until (Hattaa), when (Izaa) We have opened (Fatah'naa) the gate (Baaban) of (Zaa) a severe (Shadiidin) punishment (Äzaabin) to them (Älai'him), then (Izaa) they (Hum') are in despair (Mub'lisuun) therein (Fiihi).

And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) established (Ansha'a) for you (Lakumu) the hearing (Es'Sam'ä), the eyesight (El'Ab'soara) and the minds (Wal'Af'idata); rarely are (QaliilanMaa) you thankful (Tash'kuruun).
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةَۚ قَلِیلࣰا مَّا تَشۡكُرُونَ
And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) established (Ansha'a) for you (Lakumu) the hearing (Es'Sam'ä), the eyesight (El'Ab'soara) and the minds (Wal' Af'idata); rarely are (Qaliilan Maa) you thankful (Tash'kuruun).

And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellaziina) created you (Zara'a-kum') on earth (Fiil'Ar'di), and to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be assembled (Tuh'sharuun).
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی ذَرَأَكُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِلَیۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ
And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellaziina) created you (Zara'a-kum') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), and to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be assembled (Tuh'sharuun).

And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii)gives life(Yuh'yii) and causes death(Yumiitu), and to HIM belongs (Lahu) the variation (Ekh'tilaafu) of the night (Ellai'li) and the day (En'Nahaari). Will you then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی یُحۡیِۦ وَیُمِیتُ وَلَهُ ٱخۡتِلَـٰفُ ٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) gives life (Yuh'yii) and causes death (Yumiitu), and to HIM belongs (Lahu) the variation (Ekh'tilaafu) of the night (Ellai'li) and the day (En'Nahaari). Will you then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?

In fact (Bal'), they say (Qaalu') the like (Mith'la) of what (Maa) the predecessors (El'Awwaluun) had said (Qaala).

In fact (Bal'), they say (Qaalu') the like (Mith'la) of what (Maa) the predecessors (El'Awwaluun) had said (Qaala).

They said (Qaaluu'), "When (A'izaa) we have died (Mit'naa) and (Wa) become (Kunnaa) dust (Turaaban) and bones (Ezoaman), will we indeed (A'innaa) be (La) resurrected (Mab'uuthuun)?
قَالُوۤا۟ أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
They said (Qaaluu'), "When (A'izaa) we have died (Mit'naa) and (Wa) become (Kunnaa) dust (Turaaban) and bones (Ezoaman), will we indeed (A'innaa) be (La) resurrected (Mab'uuthuun)?

"We have certainly (Laqad') been promised (Wued'naa) this (Haaza) before (MinQab'lu), we (Nah'nu) and (Wa) our ancestors (Aabaau-naa). These (Haazaa) are only (In'illaa) tales (Asaatiiru) of the past (El'Awwaliin)." (27:68)
لَقَدۡ وُعِدۡنَا نَحۡنُ وَءَابَاۤؤُنَا هَـٰذَا مِن قَبۡلُ إِنۡ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَّاۤ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
"We have certainly (Laqad') been promised (Wued'naa) this (Haaza) before (Min Qab'lu), we (Nah'nu) and (Wa) our ancestors (Aabaau-naa). These (Haazaa) are only (In' illaa) tales (Asaatiiru) of the past (El'Awwaliin)." (27:68)

They will say (SaYaquuluuna), "To GOD (Lillahi)." Say(Qul'): "Will you then not (Afalaa) take heed (Tazakkaruun)?"
سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
They will say (Sa Yaquuluuna), "To GOD (Lillahi)." Say (Qul'): "Will you then not (Afalaa) take heed (Tazakkaruun)?"

﴾ 86 ﴿ Say(Qul'): "Who (Man) is the Lord (Rabbu) of the seven(Es'Sab'e)heavens(Es'Samaawaati) and (Wa) Lord (Rabbu) of the Great (El'Äziim) Throne (El'Är'shi)?"
قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ ٱلسَّبۡعِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِیمِ
Say (Qul'): "Who (Man) is the Lord (Rabbu) of the seven (Es'Sab'e) heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and (Wa) Lord (Rabbu) of the Great (El'Äziim) Throne (El'Är'shi)?"

They will say (SaYaquuluuna), "For GOD (Lillahi)." Say(Qul'): "Will you then not (Afalaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?"
سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
They will say (Sa Yaquuluuna), "For GOD (Lillahi)." Say (Qul'): "Will you then not (Afalaa) be pious (Tattaquun)?"

﴾ 88 ﴿ Say(Qul'): "In whose hand (ManBi-Yadi-hi) is the kingdom(Malakuutu) of all (Kulli) things (Shai'in), and (Wa) HE (Huwa) protects (Yujiiru), but (Wa) none (Laa) can protect (Yujaaru) against HIM (Älai'hi), if (In) you should (Kuntum') know (Ta'lamuun)?"
قُلۡ مَنۢ بِیَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَهُوَ یُجِیرُ وَلَا یُجَارُ عَلَیۡهِ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
Say (Qul'): "In whose hand (Man Bi-Yadi-hi) is the kingdom (Malakuutu) of all (Kulli) things (Shai'in), and (Wa) HE (Huwa) protects (Yujiiru), but (Wa) none (Laa) can protect (Yujaaru) against HIM (Älai'hi), if (In) you should (Kuntum') know (Ta'lamuun)?"

They will say (SaYaquuluuna), "For GOD (Lillahi)." Say(Qul'): "Then (Fa) how (Annaa) are you fascinated(Tus'haruun)?"
سَیَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِۚ قُلۡ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسۡحَرُونَ
They will say (Sa Yaquuluuna), "For GOD (Lillahi)." Say (Qul'): "Then (Fa) how (Annaa) are you fascinated (Tus'haruun)?"

GOD (Ellahu) does not (Maa) have (Ettakhaza) a (Min)son(Waladin), nor (Wamaa) is there (Kaana) any (Min') god (ilaahin) with HIM (Maähu); in that case (Izan), each (Kullu) god (ilaahi) would have (La) departed (Zahaba) with what (Bimaa) it created (Khalaqa), and (Wa) some of them (Ba'du-hum) would have (La) loomed (Älaa) over (Älaa) others (Ba'din). Glory be to GOD (Sub'haana-llahi) above what (Ämmaa) they describe (Yasifuun).
مَا ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِن وَلَدࣲ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُۥ مِنۡ إِلَـٰهٍۚ إِذࣰا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَـٰهِۭ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا یَصِفُونَ
GOD (Ellahu) does not (Maa) have (Ettakhaza) a (Min) son (Waladin), nor (Wamaa) is there (Kaana) any (Min') god (ilaahin) with HIM (Maähu); in that case (Izan), each (Kullu) god (ilaahi) would have (La) departed (Zahaba) with what (Bimaa) it created (Khalaqa), and (Wa) some of them (Ba'du-hum) would have (La) loomed (Älaa) over (Älaa) others (Ba'din). Glory be to GOD (Sub'haana-llahi) above what (Ämmaa) they describe (Yasifuun).

Knower (Äälimi) of the unseen(El'Gai'bi) and (Wa)testimony(Es'Shahaadati); for (Fa) HE is exalted (Ta'äälaa) above what (Ämmaa) they associate (Yush'rikuun).
عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ

LORD (Rabbi), then (Fa) do not (Laa) place me (Taj'äl'nii) among (Fii) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (El'Qaw'mi)."
رَبِّ فَلَا تَجۡعَلۡنِی فِی ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ
LORD (Rabbi), then (Fa) do not (Laa) place me (Taj'äl'nii) among (Fii) the transgressing (Ez'Zoalimiin) people (El'Qaw'mi)."

And (Wa) indeed, We (Innaa) are (La) able (Qaadiruun) to (ÄlaaAn) show you (s)(Nuriya-ka) what (Maa) We have promised them (Naedu-hum').
وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰۤ أَن نُّرِیَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمۡ لَقَـٰدِرُونَ
And (Wa) indeed, We (Innaa) are (La) able (Qaadiruun) to (Älaa An) show you (s) (Nuriya-ka) what (Maa) We have promised them (Naedu-hum').

﴾ 96 ﴿
Repel (Ed'fa') bad deed (Es'Sayyiata) by that which (Billatii) is (Hiya) best (Ah'sanu); We (Nah'nu) are aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) they describe (Yasifuun).
ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِی هِیَ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلسَّیِّئَةَۚ نَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَصِفُونَ
Repel (Ed'fa') bad deed (Es'Sayyiata) by that which (Billatii) is (Hiya) best (Ah'sanu); We (Nah'nu) are aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) they describe (Yasifuun).

Until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) death (El'Maw'tu) comes to (Jaa'a) one of them (Ahada-humu), he says (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), send me back (Er'jiuuni),
حَتَّىٰۤ إِذَا جَاۤءَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱرۡجِعُونِ
Until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) death (El'Maw'tu) comes to (Jaa'a) one of them (Ahada-humu), he says (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), send me back (Er'jiuuni),

﴾ 100 ﴿
that I (Laällii) may act (A'malu) righteous (Soalihan) in what (Fiimaa) I have left (Tarak'tu)." Nay! (Kallaa) Indeed, it (Innahaa) is a word (Kalimatun) he (Huwa) is stating (Qaa'ilu-haa), but (Wa) behind them (MinWaraa'i-him) is a partition(Bar'zakhun) until (ilaa) the day (Yaw'mi) they are resurrected (Yub'äthuun).
لَعَلِّیۤ أَعۡمَلُ صَـٰلِحࣰا فِیمَا تَرَكۡتُۚ كَلَّاۤۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَاۤىِٕلُهَاۖ وَمِن وَرَاۤىِٕهِم بَرۡزَخٌ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ یُبۡعَثُونَ
that I (Laällii) may act (A'malu) righteous (Soalihan) in what (Fiimaa) I have left (Tarak'tu)." Nay! ﴾ 101 ﴿
And (Fa) when (Izaa) the horn (Es'Suuri) is blown (NufikhaFii), there will be no (Falaa)genealogy(family tree)(Ansaaba) among them (Ba'nahum') on that day (Yaw'mai'zin), nor (Walaa) will they ask about each other (Yatasaa'aluun). (80:33-37)
فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِی ٱلصُّورِ فَلَاۤ أَنسَابَ بَیۡنَهُمۡ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ وَلَا یَتَسَاۤءَلُونَ
And (Fa) when (Izaa) the horn (Es'Suuri) is blown (Nufikha Fii), there will be no (Falaa) genealogy (family tree) (Ansaaba) among them (Ba'nahum') on that day (Yaw'mai'zin), nor (Walaa) will they ask about each other (Yatasaa'aluun). (80:33-37)

As for (Fa) those (Man) whose scales (Mawaaziinu-hu) are heavy (Thaqulat'), then (Fa) they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who will be the successful(El'Muf'lihuun).
فَمَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَ ٰزِینُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ
As for (Fa) those (Man) whose scales (Mawaaziinu-hu) are heavy (Thaqulat'), then (Fa) they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who will be the successful (El'Muf'lihuun).

﴾ 103 ﴿
And (Wa) those (Man') whose scales (Mawaaziinu-hu) are light (Khaffat'), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) are the ones who (Ellaziina) have lost (Khasiruu') their souls (Anfusa-hum') in (Fii) Hell (Jahannama) eternally (Khaaliduun).
وَمَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَ ٰزِینُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ خَسِرُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فِی جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدُونَ
And (Wa) those (Man') whose scales (Mawaaziinu-hu) are light (Khaffat'), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) are the ones who (Ellaziina) have lost (Khasiruu') their souls (Anfusa-hum') in (Fii) Hell (Jahannama) eternally (Khaaliduun).

تَلۡفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَهُمۡ فِیهَا كَـٰلِحُونَ
The Fire (En'Naaru) will burn (Tal'fahu) their faces (Wujuuha-humu), and (Wa) they (Hum') will become dingy (Kaalihuun) therein (Fiiha).

"Were (A-) MY verses(Aayaatii) not (-lam') recited (Tut'laa) to you (Älai'kum') and (Fa) you were (Kuntum) denying them (TukazzibuunBi-haa)?"
أَلَمۡ تَكُنۡ ءَایَـٰتِی تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فَكُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
"Were (A-) MY verses (Aayaatii) not (-lam') recited (Tut'laa) to you (Älai'kum') and (Fa) you were (Kuntum) denying them (Tukazzibuun Bi-haa)?"

﴾ 106 ﴿
They will say (Qaalu'), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), our distress (Shiq'watu-naa) had overcome us (Galabat'Älai'naa), for (Wa) we were (Kunnaa) a misguided (Doalliin) people (Qaw'man).
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتۡ عَلَیۡنَا شِقۡوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوۡمࣰا ضَاۤلِّینَ
They will say (Qaalu'), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), our distress (Shiq'watu-naa) had overcome us (Galabat' Älai'naa), for (Wa) we were (Kunnaa) a misguided (Doalliin) people (Qaw'man).

"Our LORD (Rabba-naa), remove us (Akh'rij'naa) from it (Min'haa), and (Fa) if (In') we return (Ud'naa), then (Fa) indeed, we (Innaa) would be unjust (Zoalimuun)."
رَبَّنَاۤ أَخۡرِجۡنَا مِنۡهَا فَإِنۡ عُدۡنَا فَإِنَّا ظَـٰلِمُونَ
"Our LORD (Rabba-naa), remove us (Akh'rij'naa) from it (Min'haa), and (Fa) if (In') we return (Ud'naa), then (Fa) indeed, we (Innaa) would be unjust (Zoalimuun)."

﴾ 108 ﴿
HE (God) will say (Qaala), "Be despised (Ekh'sau') therein (Fiiha), and do not (Walaa) speak to ME (Tukallimuuni).
قَالَ ٱخۡسَـُٔوا۟ فِیهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ
HE (God) will say (Qaala), "Be despised (Ekh'sau') therein (Fiiha), and do not (Walaa) speak to ME (Tukallimuuni).

﴾ 109 ﴿
"Indeed (Innahu), there was (Kaana) a group (Fariiqun) of (Min')MY servants(Ebaadii) who used to say (Yaquuluuna), 'Our LORD (Rabba-naa), We have believed (Aamanna), so (Fa) forgive us (Eg'fir'Lanaa) and (Wa) have mercy upon us (Er'ham'naa), for (Wa) YOU (Anta) are the best (Khai'ru) of those who are merciful (Er'Raahimiin).'
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡ عِبَادِی یَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَاۤ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَٱرۡحَمۡنَا وَأَنتَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰحِمِینَ
"Indeed (Innahu), there was (Kaana) a group (Fariiqun) of (Min') MY servants (Ebaadii) who used to say (Yaquuluuna), 'Our LORD (Rabba-naa), We have believed (Aamanna), so (Fa) forgive us (Eg'fir' Lanaa) and (Wa) have mercy upon us (Er'ham'naa), for (Wa) YOU (Anta) are the best (Khai'ru) of those who are merciful (Er'Raahimiin).'

"But (Fa) you (the transgressors) took them (Ettakhaz'tumuu-hum') in mockery (Sikh'riyyan) until (Hattaa) it made you forget (Ansaw'kum')MY remembrance(Zik'rii), and (Wa) you used to (Kuntum) laugh at them (Tad'hakuunMin'hum').
فَٱتَّخَذۡتُمُوهُمۡ سِخۡرِیًّا حَتَّىٰۤ أَنسَوۡكُمۡ ذِكۡرِی وَكُنتُم مِّنۡهُمۡ تَضۡحَكُونَ
"But (Fa) you (the transgressors) took them (Ettakhaz'tumuu-hum') in mockery (Sikh'riyyan) until (Hattaa) it made you forget (Ansaw'kum') MY remembrance (Zik'rii), and (Wa) you used to (Kuntum) laugh at them (Tad'hakuun Min'hum').

"Indeed, I (Innii) have rewarded them (Jazai'tu-humu) today (El'Yaw'ma) for what (Bimaa) they had been patient (Sobaruu'), because (Annahum') they (Humu) are the achievers(El'Faa'izuun)."
إِنِّی جَزَیۡتُهُمُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلۡفَاۤىِٕزُونَ
"Indeed, I (Innii) have rewarded them (Jazai'tu-humu) today (El'Yaw'ma) for what (Bimaa) they had been patient (Sobaruu'), because (Annahum') they (Humu) are the achievers (El'Faa'izuun)."

HE (God) will say (Qaala), "How long (Kam') did you linger (Labith'tum') on earth (Fiil'Ar'di) in number (Ädada) of years (Siniin)?"
قَـٰلَ كَمۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ عَدَدَ سِنِینَ
HE (God) will say (Qaala), "How long (Kam') did you linger (Labith'tum') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) in number (Ädada) of years (Siniin)?"

They will say (Qaalu'), "We lingered (Labith'naa) for a day (Yaw'man) or (Aw') part (Ba'da) of a day (Yaw'min); so ask (Fas'ali) those who counted (El'Ääddiin)."
قَالُوا۟ لَبِثۡنَا یَوۡمًا أَوۡ بَعۡضَ یَوۡمࣲ فَسۡـَٔلِ ٱلۡعَاۤدِّینَ
They will say (Qaalu'), "We lingered (Labith'naa) for a day (Yaw'man) or (Aw') part (Ba'da) of a day (Yaw'min); so ask (Fas'ali) those who counted (El'Ääddiin)."

HE (God) will say (Qaala), "You only (Inilla) lingered (Labith'tum') for a while (Qaliilan), if only (Law'Anna-kum') you had (Kuntum') known (Ta'lamuun).
قَـٰلَ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰاۖ لَّوۡ أَنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ
HE (God) will say (Qaala), "You only (In illa) lingered (Labith'tum') for a while (Qaliilan), if only (Law' Anna-kum') you had (Kuntum') known (Ta'lamuun).

"Did you then think (Afa'hasib'tum') that (Annamaa) We created you (p)(Khalaq'naa-kum') uselessly (Äbathaan) and (Wa) that you (Annakum') would not (Laa) be returned (Tur'ja'uun) to Us (ilai'naa)?"
أَفَحَسِبۡتُمۡ أَنَّمَا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ عَبَثࣰا وَأَنَّكُمۡ إِلَیۡنَا لَا تُرۡجَعُونَ
"Did you then think (Afa'hasib'tum') that (Annamaa) We created you (p) (Khalaq'naa-kum') uselessly (Äbathaan) and (Wa) that you (Annakum') would not (Laa) be returned (Tur'ja'uun) to Us (ilai'naa)?"

So (Fa) exalted is GOD (Ta'äälaa-llahu), the KING (El'Maliku), the TRUTH (El'Haqqu); there is no god (Laailaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa), LORD (Rabbu) of the Honourable (El'Kariim) Throne (El'Är'shi).
فَتَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡحَقُّۖ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡكَرِیمِ
So (Fa) exalted is GOD (Ta'äälaa-llahu), the KING (El' Maliku), the TRUTH (El' Haqqu); there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa), LORD (Rabbu) of the Honourable (El'Kariim) Throne (El'Är'shi).

﴾ 117 ﴿
And (Wa) whoever (Man) invokes (Yad'u) another (Aakhara) god (ilaahan) with the GOD(Maällahi) for which (Bihi) he has (Lahu) no (Laa)proof(Bur'haana), then (Fa) his reckoning (Hisaabu-hu) is only (Innamaa) with (Enda) his LORD (Rabbi-hi). Indeed (Innahu), the disbelievers (El'Kaafiruun) will not (Laa) succeed (Yuf'lihu).
وَمَن یَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرۡهَـٰنَ لَهُۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُفۡلِحُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ
And (Wa) whoever (Man) invokes (Yad'u) another (Aakhara) god (ilaahan) with the GOD (Maällahi) for which (Bihi) he has (Lahu) no (Laa) proof (Bur'haana), then (Fa) his reckoning (Hisaabu-hu) is only (Innamaa) with (Enda) his LORD (Rabbi-hi). Indeed (Innahu), the disbelievers (El'Kaafiruun) will not (Laa) succeed (Yuf'lihu).

And (Wa)say(Qul): "LORD (Rabbi), forgive (Eg'fir') and (Wa) have mercy (Er'ham'), for (Wa) YOU (Anta) are the best (Khai'ru) of those who are merciful (Er'Raahimiin)."
