The Calamity سُورَةُ الغَاشِيَةِ

 ﴾ ١ ﴿ هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِیثُ ٱلۡغَـٰشِیَةِ
 ﴾ 1 ﴿ Has (Hal') the discourse (Hadiithu) of the calamity (El'Ghaashiya')* reached you (s) (Ataa-ka)?
 ﴾ ٢ ﴿ وُجُوهࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ خَـٰشِعَةٌ
 ﴾ 2 ﴿ On that day (Yaw'maizin), some faces (Wujuu'un) will be humbled (Khaashiä’),
 ﴾ ٣ ﴿ عَامِلَةࣱ نَّاصِبَةࣱ
 ﴾ 3 ﴿ actively (Äämilatun) exhausted (Naasiba').
 ﴾ ٤ ﴿ تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِیَةࣰ
 ﴾ 4 ﴿ They will burn (Tas'laa) in a heated (Haamiya') fire (Naaran).
 ﴾ ٥ ﴿ تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَیۡنٍ ءَانِیَةࣲ
 ﴾ 5 ﴿ They will be given to drink (Tus'qaa) from (Min') a boiling (Aaniya') spring water (Äi'nin).
 ﴾ ٦ ﴿ لَّیۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِیعࣲ
 ﴾ 6 ﴿ They will have (Lahum) no (Lai'sa) food (Toäämun) except (illa) from (Min) pus (Dorii’),
 ﴾ ٧ ﴿ لَّا یُسۡمِنُ وَلَا یُغۡنِی مِن جُوعࣲ
 ﴾ 7 ﴿ neither (Laa) fattens (Yus'minu) nor (Walaa) satisfies (Yug'nii) any (Min) hunger (Juue).
 ﴾ ٨ ﴿ وُجُوهࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ نَّاعِمَةࣱ
 ﴾ 8 ﴿ On that day (Yaw'maizin), other faces (Wujuu'un) will be comfortable (Naa'ema’),
 ﴾ ٩ ﴿ لِّسَعۡیِهَا رَاضِیَةࣱ
 ﴾ 9 ﴿ satisfied (Raadiya’) with (Li) their effort (53:40) (Sa'yi-haa)
 ﴾ ١٠ ﴿ فِی جَنَّةٍ عَالِیَةࣲ
 ﴾ 10 ﴿ in (Fii) an elevated (Ääliya') garden (Jannatin),
 ﴾ ١١ ﴿ لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِیهَا لَـٰغِیَةࣰ
 ﴾ 11 ﴿ wherein (Fiiha) they will hear (Tus'mau) no (Laa) nonsense (Laagiya').
 ﴾ ١٢ ﴿ فِیهَا عَیۡنࣱ جَارِیَةࣱ
 ﴾ 12 ﴿ Therein (Fiiha) is a flowing (Jaariya’) spring water (Äi'nun).
 ﴾ ١٣ ﴿ فِیهَا سُرُرࣱ مَّرۡفُوعَةࣱ
 ﴾ 13 ﴿ Therein (Fiiha) are elevated (Mar'fuuä') couches (Sururun)
 ﴾ ١٤ ﴿ وَأَكۡوَابࣱ مَّوۡضُوعَةࣱ
 ﴾ 14 ﴿ and (Wa) positioned (Maw'duuä') drinking glasses (Ak'waabun)
 ﴾ ١٥ ﴿ وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةࣱ
 ﴾ 15 ﴿ and (Wa) arranged (Mas'fuufa') cushions (Namaariqu)
 ﴾ ١٦ ﴿ وَزَرَابِیُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
 ﴾ 16 ﴿ and (Wa) spread out (Mab'thuutha') carpets (Zaraabiyyu).
 ﴾ ١٧ ﴿ أَفَلَا یَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَیۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
 ﴾ 17 ﴿ Do they then not (Afalaa) look (Yanzuruuna) at (ilaa) the camels (El' Ibili); how (Kai'fa) they have been created (shaped) (Khuliqat’)?
 ﴾ ١٨ ﴿ وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ كَیۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
 ﴾ 18 ﴿ And (Wa) at (ilaa) the sky (Es'Samaai); how (Kai'fa) it has been raised (Rufiät')?
 ﴾ ١٩ ﴿ وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَیۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
 ﴾ 19 ﴿ And (Wa) at (ilaa) the mountains (El'Jibaali); how (Kai'fa) they have been set up (Nusibat')?
 ﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَیۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
 ﴾ 20 ﴿ And (Wa) at (ilaa) the earth (El'Ar'di); how (Kai'fa) it has been spread out (Sutihat’)?
 ﴾ ٢١ ﴿ فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَاۤ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرࣱ
 ﴾ 21 ﴿ So (Fa) remind (Zakkir’); you (s) (Anta) are only (Innamaa) a reminder (Muzakkir).
 ﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ لَّسۡتَ عَلَیۡهِم بِمُصَیۡطِرٍ
 ﴾ 22 ﴿ You (s) are not (Las'ta Bi) in control (Musoi'tir) over them (Älai'him). (6:107)
 ﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ
 ﴾ 23 ﴿ However (illa), whoever (Man) turns away (Tawallaa) and (Wa) disbelieves (Kafar),
 ﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ فَیُعَذِّبُهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَذَابَ ٱلۡأَكۡبَرَ
 ﴾ 24 ﴿ then (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) will punish him with (Yuäzzibu-hu) the greatest (El'Ak'bar) punishment (El'Äzaaba).
 ﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ إِنَّ إِلَیۡنَاۤ إِیَابَهُمۡ
 ﴾ 25 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), to Us (ilai'naa) is their return (Iyaaba-hum’).
 ﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَیۡنَا حِسَابَهُم
 ﴾ 26 ﴿ Then (Thumma) indeed (Inna), upon Us (Älai'naa) is their reckoning (13:40) (Hisaaba-hum).
