﴾ 1 ﴿ Blessed (Tabaaraka) is the One who (Ellazii) has revealed (Nazzala) the Criterion (El'Fur'qaana)* to (Älaa) HIS servant (Äb'di-hi) that (Li) he may be (Yakuuna) a warner (Naziira) to all people (Lil' Äälamiina),
﴾ 2 ﴿ the One (Ellazii) to whom belongs (Lahu) the dominion (Mul'ku) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di) and (Wa) does not (Lam') have (Yattakhiz') a son (Waladan) nor (Walam') does HE have (Yakun Lahu) a partner (Shariikun) in (Fii) the dominion (El'Mul'ki), for (Wa) HE created (Khalaqa) all (Kulla) things (Shai'in) and (Fa) estimated them (Qaddara-hu) by estimation (Taq'diiraa).
﴾ 3 ﴿ But (Wa) they have taken (Ettakhazu') gods (Aalihatan) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi) who have not (Laa) created (Yakh'luquuna) anything (Shai'an), while (Wa) they (Hum) were created (Yukh'laquuna), and (Wa) they do not (Laa) possess (Yam'likuuna) harm (Dorran) for (Li) themselves (Anfusi-him’) nor (Walaa) benefit (Naf'ään), neither (Walaa) do they possess (Yam'likuuna) death 1 (Maw'tan) nor (Walaa) life 2 (Hayaatan) nor (Walaa) resurrection 3 (Nushuuraa).
﴾ 4 ﴿ Those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaruu') say (Qaala), "This (Haazaa) is only (In' illaa) a lie (falsehood)(If'kun) which he has invented (Ef'taraa-hu), and (Wa) other (Aakharuun) people (Qaw'mun) assisted him (A'ääna-hu) on it (Älai'hi).” But (Fa) they (the disbelievers) have brought forth (Jaa'uu) injustice (Zul'man) and (Wa) falsehood (Zuuraa)."
﴾ 5 ﴿ And (Wa) they (the disbelievers) say (Qaaluu'), "Tales (Asaatiiru) of the predecessors (El'Awwaliina) which he has transcribed (Ek'tataba-haa), and (Fa) they (the verses) were (Hiya) dictated (Tum'laa) to him (Älai'hi); early in the morning (Buk'ratan) and (Wa) before sunset (Asiila)."
﴾ 6 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "It has been revealed (Anzala-hu) by the One who (Ellazii) knows (Ya'lamu) the secret (Es'Sirra) in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is (Kaana) Forgiving (Gafuuran) and Merciful (Rahiimaa)."
﴾ 7 ﴿ And (Wa) they say (Qaalu'), "Why (Maali) does this (Haaza) Messenger (Er'Rasuuli) eat (Ya'kulu) food (Etto'ääma) and (Wa) walk (Yam'shii) in (Fii) the markets (El'As'waaqi)? Why (Law') was an angel (Malakun) not (Laa) sent down to him (Unzila ilai'hi) so (Fa) he could be (Yakuuna) a warner (Naziira) with him (Maähu)?
﴾ 8 ﴿ "Or (Aw') a treasure (Kanzun) presented to him (Yul'qaa ilai'hi), or (Aw') he should (Takuunu) have (Lahu) a garden (Jannatun) from which (Min'haa) he eats (Ya'kulu)?" And (Wa) the transgressors (17:47) (Ez'Zoalimuuna) say (Qaala), "You only (In illa) follow (Tattabiuuna) a bewitched (Mas'huuraa) man (Rajulan)."
﴾ 9 ﴿ Look (Enzur') how (Kai'fa) they cite (Dorabu') the examples (El'Am'thaala) to you (s) (Laka); but (Fa) they have strayed (Dollu'), so (Fa) they are not (Laa) capable of (Yas'tatiiuuna) a way (Sabiila). (17:48)
﴾ 10 ﴿ Blessed (Tabaaraka) is the One who (Ellazii), if (In) HE wills (Shaa'a), could grant you (s) (Jaäla Laka) better (Khai'ran) than (Min) that (Zaalika); gardens (Jannaati) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-haa) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'ri), and (Wa) could grant you (Yaj'äl Laka) palaces (Qusuura).
﴾ 11 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), they have denied (Kazzabu' Bi) the Hour (Es'Saa'äti), but (Wa) We have prepared (A'tad'naa) inferno (Saeeraa) for those who (Liman) deny (Kazzaba Bi) the Hour (Es'Saa'äti).
﴾ 12 ﴿ When (Izaa) it sees them (Ra'at'hum) from (Min) a distant (Baeedin) location (Makaani), they (the transgressors) will hear it (Samiu' Laha) enraging (Tagayyuzoan) and (Wa) sighing (Zafiiraa).
﴾ 13 ﴿ And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are thrown (Ul'qu') through its (Min'haa) narrow (Doyyiqan) place (Makaanan) enchained (Muqarraniina), it is there (Hunaalika) they will cry out (Daäw') in destruction (Thubuuraa).
﴾ 14 ﴿ "Do not (Laa) cry out (Tad'u'), today (El'Yaw'ma) is for destruction (Thubuuran) alone (Waahidan)," and (Wa) they will cry out (Ed'u') in much (Kathiiraa) destruction (Thubuuran).
﴾ 15 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Is that (A'zaalika) better (Khai'run) or (Am') the Garden of Eternity (Jannatul' Khul'di) which (Ellatii) is promised (Wueda) to the pious (El'Muttaquun)?" They will have (Kaanat' Lahum) a reward (Jazaa'an) and (Wa) destiny (Masiiraa).
﴾ 16 ﴿ They will have (Lahum) whatever (Maa) they wish (Yashaauuna) therein (Fiihaa) eternally (Khaalidiin). The promise (Wa'dan) upon (Älaa) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) will be (Kaana) answerable (Mas'uulaa).
﴾ 17 ﴿ And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) HE will assemble them (Yah'shuru-hum) together with (Wa) those (Maa) they worshipped (Ya'buduuna) beside GOD (Min Duuni-llahi), then (Fa) HE (God) will say (Yaquulu), "Did you (A'antum) mislead (Ad'lal'tum) these (Haaulaai) servants of MINE (Ebaadii), or (Am') they (Hum) strayed (Dollu') from the way (Es'Sabiil')?"
﴾ 18 ﴿ They (the idolized) will say (Qaalu'), "Glory be to YOU (Sub'haana-ka), it was (Kaana) not (Maa) necessary for us (Yanbagii La-naa) to (An) have had (Nattakhiza) any (Min') guardians (Aw'liyaa'a) besides YOU (Min Duuni-ka), but (Walaakin) YOU made them enjoy (Matta'ta-hum) as well as (Wa) their fathers (Aabaa'a-hum) until (Hattaa) they forgot (Nasu') the Remembrance (Ez'Zik'ra) and (Wa) became (Kaanu') a people (Qaw'ma) who perished (Buuraa).
﴾ 19 ﴿ And (Fa) they have (Qad') denied you (p) (Kazzabuu-kum) because of what (Bimaa) you say (Taquuluuna)? And (Fa) you can (Tas'tatiiuuna) not (Maa) divert (Sor'faan) nor (Walaa) assist (Nas'raan). And (Wa) whoever (Man) transgresses (Yaz'lim) among you (Minkum), We will make him taste (Nuziq'hu) a vicious (Kabiiraa) punishment (Äzaaban).
﴾ 20 ﴿ And (Wa) We did not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'na) any (Mina) of the messengers (El'Mur'saliina) before you (s) (Qab'laka) except (illaa) that they (Innahum La) ate (Ya'kuluuna) food (Ettoääma) and (Wa) walked (Yam'shuuna) in (Fii) the markets (El'As'waaqi). And (Wa) We have made (Jaäl'naa) some of you (Ba'dakum) as trial (Fit'natan) for (Li) others (Ba'din); will you have patience (A'tas'biruun) as (Wa) your LORD (s) (Rabbu-ka) is (Kaana) discerning (Basiiraa)?
﴾ 21 ﴿ And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) hope to (Yar'juuna) meet Us (Liqaa'a-naa) say (Qaala), "Why (Law') were the Angels (El'Malaaikatu) not (Laa) sent down to us (Unzila Älai'naa), or (Aw') could we see (Naraa) our LORD (Rabba-naa)?" They have certainly (Laqadi) become arrogant (Es'tak'baru') within (Fii) themselves (Anfusi-him) and (Wa) became insolent (Ätaw') with enormous (Kabiiraa) insolence (Utuwwan).
﴾ 22 ﴿ The day (Yaw'ma) they see (Yaraw'na) the Angels (El'Malaaikata), there will be no (Laa) good news (Bush'raa) on that day (Yaw'maizin) for the criminals (Lil' Muj'rimiina), and (Wa) they will say (Yaquuluuna), "Interdiction (Hij'ran) and restriction (Mah'juuraa)!"
﴾ 23 ﴿ And (Wa) We will lay before Us (Qadim'naa ilaa) what (Maa) they (the transgressors) have done (Ämilu') of (Min') deeds (Ämalin), then (Fa) We will render it (Jaäl'naa-hu) as dispersed (Manthuuraa) dust particles (Habaa-an).
﴾ 24 ﴿ For the Companions of the Garden (As'haabul' Jannati) on that day (Yaw'maizi), is a better (Khai'run) residence (Mas'taqarran) and (Wa) best (Ah'sanu) as resting place (Maqiilaa).
﴾ 25 ﴿ And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) the sky (Es'Samaau) will split (Tashaqqaqu Bi) the clouds (El'Gamaami), and (Wa) the Angels (El'Malaaikatu) will descend (Nuzzilaa) by coming down (Tanziilaa).
﴾ 26 ﴿ The true (El'Haqqu) dominion (El'Mul'ku) on that day (Yaw'maizin) belongs to the GRACIOUS (Lir' Rah'maani); and (Wa) it will be (Kaana) a difficult (Äsiiraa) day (Yaw'man) for (Älaa) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina).
﴾ 27 ﴿ It is the day (Yaw'ma) a transgressor (Ez'Zoalimu) will bite (Yaäddu) on (Älaa) his hands (Yadai'hi) saying (Yaquulu), "O (Yaa) if only I (Lai'tanii) had taken (Ettakhaz'tu) a way (Sabiila) with (Maä) the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli). (33:66-67)
﴾ 28 ﴿ "O (Yaa) woe to me (Wai'lataa), if only (Lai'tanii) I had not (Lam') taken (Attakhiz') so-and-so (Fulaanan) as a friend (Khaliila)!
﴾ 29 ﴿ "He has certainly (Laqad') diverted me from (Adollanii Äni) the Remembrance (Ez'Zik'ri) after (Ba'da) when (Iz') it had come to me (Jaa'anii). But (Wa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) is (Kaana) to the human being (Lil' Insaani), a deserter (Khazuulaa)."
﴾ 30 ﴿ And (Wa) the Messenger (Er'Rasuulu) will say (Qaala), "O (Yaa) LORD (Rabbi), indeed (Inna) my people (Qaw'mii) have taken (Ettakhazu') this (Haaza) Koran (28:85) (El'Qur'aana) as abandoned (Mah'juuraa)."
﴾ 31 ﴿ And (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) have We made (Jaäl'naa) for (Li) every (Kulli) prophet (Nabiyyin) enemies (an enemy) (Äduwwan) among (Mina) the criminals (El'Muj'rimiina); but (Wa) sufficient (Kafaa Bi) is your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) as a Guide (Haadiyyan) and Helper (Nasiiraa). (6:112-113)
﴾ 32 ﴿ And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') say (Qaala), "Why (Law') was the Koran (El'Qur'aanu) not (Laa) revealed to him (Unzila Älai'hi) all (Jum'latan) at once (Waahidatan)?" Thus (Kazaalika) so that (Li) We may reinforce (Nuthabbita) your mind (s) (Fuaada-ka) with it (Bihi), and (Wa) We have intoned it (Rattal'naa-hu) with chanting (Tar'tiila). (17:106)
﴾ 33 ﴿ And (Wa) they do not (Laa) come to you (s) with (Ya'tuuna-ka Bi) an instance (case) (Mathalin) but (illa) We have brought you (Ji'naa-ka Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi) and (Wa) best (Ah'sana) in explanation (Taf'siiraa).
﴾ 34 ﴿ Those who (Ellaziina) will be assembled (Yuh'sharuuna) upon (Älaa) their faces (Wujuuhi-him) to (ilaa) Hell (Jahannama); those (U'laaika) are the worst (Sharrun) in position (Makaanan) and (Wa) more astray (Adollu) from the way (Sabiilaa).
﴾ 35 ﴿ And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') gave (Aatai'naa) Moses (Muusa) the Book (El'Kitaaba) and (Wa) appointed (Jaäl'naa) his brother (Akhaahu) Aaron (Haaruuna) with him (Maähu) as a minister (20:29) (Waziiraa).
﴾ 36 ﴿ And (Fa) We said (Qul'naa), "Go (Ez'habaa) to (ilaa) the people (El'Qaw'mi) who (Ellaziina) have denied (Kazzabu' Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa)." Consequently (Fa) We destroyed them (Dammar'naa-hum) with destruction (Tad'miiraa).
﴾ 37 ﴿ Also (Wa) the people (Qaw'ma) of Noah (Nuuhin) when (Lammaa) they denied (Kazzabu') the messengers (Er'Rusula); We drowned them (Ag'raq'naa-hum) and render them (Jaäl'naa-hum) a sign (Aayatan) for the people (Lin' Naasi). And (Wa) We have prepared (A'tad'naa) a painful (Aliimaa) punishment (Äzaaban) for (Li) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina).
﴾ 38 ﴿ Also (Wa) Ad (Äädan), Thamud (Thamuuda), the companions (As'haaba) of Rass (50:12) (Er'Rassi) as well as (Wa) many (Kathiiraa) generations (Quruuna) in between (Bai'na Zaalika).
