The Proliferation سُورَةُ التَّكَاثُرِ
﴾ ١ ﴿ أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
﴾ 1 ﴿
Proliferation (Ettakaathur)* is distracting you (p) (Al'haa-kumu)
﴾ ٢ ﴿ حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
﴾ 2 ﴿
until (Hattaa) you visit (Zur'tumu) the tombs (graveyards) (El'Maqaabir).
﴾ ٣ ﴿ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
﴾ 3 ﴿
Nay (Kallaa)! You will (Saw'fa) find out (-Ta'lamuun).
﴾ ٤ ﴿ ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
﴾ 4 ﴿
And (Thumma) nay (Kallaa)! You will (Saw'fa) find out (-Ta'lamuun).
﴾ ٥ ﴿ كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡیَقِینِ
﴾ 5 ﴿
Nay (Kallaa)! If (Law') you should find out (Ta'lamuuna) the knowledge (il'ma) of certainty (El'Yaqiin),
﴾ ٦ ﴿ لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِیمَ
﴾ 6 ﴿
you will (La) see (-Tarawunna) Hell (El'Jahiim).
﴾ ٧ ﴿ ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَیۡنَ ٱلۡیَقِینِ
﴾ 7 ﴿
Then (Thumma) you will (La) see it with (-Tarawunnahaa) the eye of certainty (Äi'nal' Yaqiin).
﴾ ٨ ﴿ ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ یَوۡمَىِٕذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِیمِ
﴾ 8 ﴿
Then (Thumma) you will (La) be questioned (-Tus'alunna), on that day (Yawmaizin), about (Äni) the happiness (En'Na'eem).
