The Decoration

 ﴾ 1 ﴿ H (Ha), M (Miim):
 ﴾ 2 ﴿ By (Wa) the Clear (El'Mubiin) Book (El'Kitaabi).
 ﴾ 3 ﴿ Indeed (Innaa), We have made it (Jaäl'naa-hu) an Arabic(Ärabiyyan) reading (Qur'aanan) perhaps you (p) (Laällakum) will reason (Ta'qiluun). (12:2)
﴾ 4 ﴿ Indeed, it (Innahu) is in (Fii) the Source Book (13:39) (Ummil' Kitaabi) with Us (Ladai'naa), the (La) Supreme (Äliyyun) and Wise (Hakiim).
﴾ 5 ﴿ So should (Afa-) We turn (-nad'ribu) the Remembrance (Ez'Zik'ra) away from you (p) (Änkumu), tolerating (Saf'han) that (An) you (Kuntum) are a profligate (Mus'rifiin) people (Qaw'man)?
﴾ 6 ﴿ How many (Kam') a (Min) prophet (7:94) (Nabiyyin) have We sent (Ar'sal'naa) among (Fii) the predecessors (El'Awwaliin),
﴾ 7 ﴿ but (Wa) no (Maa Min) prophet (Nabiyyin) came to them (Ya'tii-him) except (illa) they (Kaanu') humiliated him (Yas'tah'ziuuna Bi-hi).
﴾ 8 ﴿ Consequently (Fa) We annihilated (Ah'lak'naa) a stronger (Ashadda) force (Bat'shan) than them (Min'hum), and (Wa) the example (Mathalu) of the predecessors (El'Awwaliin) has continued (Madoa).
﴾ 9 ﴿ And (Wa) if (La'in) you should ask them (Sa'al'ta-hum), "Who (Man’) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do)?" They would (La) say (Yaquulunna), "They were created by (Khalaqa-hunna) the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim)."
﴾ 10 ﴿ The One who (Ellazii) has made (Jaäla) the earth (El'Ar'do) a cradle (Mah'dan) for you (Lakum) and (Wa) made (Jaäla) roads (Subulan) therein (Fiiha) for you (Lakum) perhaps you (Laällakum) will be guided (Tah'taduun).
﴾ 11 ﴿ And (Wa) the One who (Ellazii) sends down (Nazzala) water (Maa'a) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) by (Bi) measure (Qadarin), and (Fa) We resurrect (Anshar'naa) dead (Mai'ta) lands (Bal'datan) thereby (Bihi). Likewise (Kazaalika) you will be brought forth (Tukh'rajuun).
﴾ 12 ﴿ And (Wa) the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) all thereof (Kullahaa) in pairs (El'Az'waaja) and (Wa) granted you (Jaäla Lakum) of (Mina) ships (El'Ful'ki) and livestock (El'An'äämi) which (Maa) you ride (Tar'kabuun),
﴾ 13 ﴿ so that (Li) you may settle (Tas'tawu') on (Älaa) their backs (Zuhuuri-hi), and then (Thumma) remember (Taz'kuru') the blessing (Ni'mata) of your LORD (Rabbi-kum) when (Izaa) you settle (Es'tawai'tum) on them (Älai'hi) and (Wa) say (Taquulu'), "Glory (Sub'haana) be to the One who (Ellazii) has subjugated (Sakkhara) this (Haaza) for us (Lanaa), for (Wa) we could not have (Maa Kunna) connected with it (Muq'riniin Lahu).
﴾ 14 ﴿ “And (Wa) indeed (Innaa), to (ilaa) our LORD (Rabbi-naa) is (La) our recourse (Munqalibuun)."
﴾ 15 ﴿ And (Wa) they have assigned (Jaälu') a portion (Juz'aa) of (Min') HIS servants (Ebaadi-hi) to HIM (Lahu). Indeed (Inna), the human being (El' Insaana) is (La) clearly (Mubiin) ungrateful (Kafuurun).
﴾ 16 ﴿ Or (Ami) has HE taken (Ettakhaza) daughters (Banaatin) from what (Mimmaa) HE created (Yakh'luqu) and (Wa) chosen for you (As'faa-kum Bi) sons (El'Baniin)?
﴾ 17 ﴿ And (Wa) whenever (Izaa) one of them (Ahadu-hum) is given good news (Busshira) compared (Mathalan) to what (Bimaa) they cite (Doraba) for the GRACIOUS (Lir' Rah'maani), his face (Waj'hu-hu) remains (Zollan) blackened (Mus'waddan), and (Wa) he (Huwa) suppresses anger (Kaziim).
﴾ 18 ﴿ "And is it (Awa-) one who (-man) will be brought up (Yunasshau') in trinkets (ornaments) (Fiil' Hil'yati) while (Wa) being (Huwa) in (Fii) conflict (El'Khisoami) without (Gai'ru) evidence (Mubiin)?"
﴾ 19 ﴿ And (Wa) they have assigned (Jaälu') the Angels (El'Malaa’ikata), who (Ellaziina) are (Hum) servants (Ebaadu) of the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani) as females (53:27) (Inaatha). Did (A-) they (p) witness (-shahidu') their creation (Khal'qa-hum)? Their testimony (Shahaadatu-hum) will be recorded (Sa Tuk'tabu) and (Wa) they (p) will be questioned (Yas'aluun).
﴾ 20 ﴿ And (Wa) they (p) said (Qaalu'), "If (Law') the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) had willed (Shaa'a), we would not (Maa) have worshipped them (Äbad'naa-hum)." They have (Lahum) no (Maa Min') knowledge (il'min) about (Bi) that (Zaalika). They (Hum’) are only (In' illa) guessing (Yakh'rusuun).
﴾ 21 ﴿ Or (Am') have We given them (Aatai'naa-hum) a book (Kitaaban) before it (34:44) (Min Qab'li-hi) and (Fa) they (Hum) are adhering to it (Mustam'sikuun Bi-hi)?
﴾ 22 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), they say (Qaaluu'), "Indeed (Innaa), we found (Wajad'naa) our fathers (Aabaa'a-naa) upon (Älaa) a source (Ummattin) and (Wa) we are indeed (Innaa) guided (Muh'taduun) upon (Älaa) their footsteps (Aathaari-him)."
﴾ 23 ﴿ And (Wa) likewise (Kazaalika), We did not (Maa) send (Ar'sa l'naa) any (Min) warner (Naziirin) to (Fii) a town (Qar'yatin) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka) except (illa) its wealthy ones (Mut'rafuu-haa) said (Qaala), "Indeed (Innaa), we found (Wajad'naa) our fathers (Aabaa'a-naa) upon (Älaa) a source (Ummatin) and we are indeed (Innaa) guided (Muq'taduun) upon (Älaa) their footsteps (Aathaari-him)."
﴾ 24 ﴿ He (the warner) would say (Qaala), "What if (Awalaw') I brought you (Ji'tu-kum Bi) better guidance (Ah'daa) than what (Mimmaa) you found (Wajadttum’) your fathers (Aabaa'a-kum’) upon (Älai'hi)?" They said (Qaaluu'), "Indeed, we (Innaa) are disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in what (Bimaa) you have been sent with (Ur'sil'tum Bihi)."
﴾ 25 ﴿ Consequently (Fa) We took vengeance on them (Entaqam'naa Min'hum’); so (Fa) see (Enzur') how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) the end (Ääqibatu) of those who denied (El'Mukazzibiina).
﴾ 26 ﴿ And (Wa) when (Iz') Abraham (Ib'raahiimu) said to (Qaala Li) his father (Abii-hi) and his people (Qaw'mi-hi), "Indeed, I am (Innanii) cleared (Baraaun) of what (Mimmaa) you worship (Ta'buduun)
﴾ 27 ﴿ except (illa) the One who (Ellazii) created me (Fatora-nii); and (Fa) indeed, HE (Innahu) will guide me (Sa Yah'diini)."
﴾ 28 ﴿ And (Wa) HE (God) made it (Jaäla-haa) a word (Kalimata) remaining (Baaqiyatan) among (Fii) his posterity (Äqibi-hi) that they (Laällahum) might revert (Yar'jiuun).
﴾ 29 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), I (God) made these people (Haaulaai) enjoy (Matta'tu), as well as (Wa) their fathers (Aabaa'a-hum) until (Hattaa) the truth (El'Haqqu) and a clear (Mubiin) messenger (Rasuulun) came to them (Jaa'a-humu).
﴾ 30 ﴿ And (Wa) when (Lammaa) the truth (El'Haqqu) came to them (Jaa'a-humu), they said (Qaalu'), "This (Haaza) is sorcery (Sih'run); and (Wa) indeed, we (Innaa) are disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in it (Bihi)."
﴾ 31 ﴿ And (Wa) they said (Qaalu'), "Why (Law') was this (Haaza) Koran (El'Qur'aanu) not (Laa) revealed to (Nuzzila Älaa) a great (Äziim) man (Rajulin) among (Mina) the two towns (El'Qar'yatai'ni)?"
﴾ 32 ﴿ Are they (A’hum’) the distributers (Yaq'simuuna) of the mercy (Rah'mata) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka)? We (Nah'nu) have distributed (Qasam'naa) their livelihood (Maeeshata-hum) among them (Bai'nahum) in (Fii) the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaati) and (Wa) have raised (Rafa'naa) some of them (Ba'dahum) above (Faw'qa) others (Ba'din) in degrees (Darajaatin) so that (Li) they may take (Yattakhiza) each other (Ba'duhum Ba'dan) in labour (Sukh'riyan), but (Wa) the mercy (10:58) (Rah'matu) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) is better (Khai'run) than what (Mimmaa) they accumulate (Yaj'mauun).
﴾ 33 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') not (Laa) because (An) mankind (En'Naasu) would become (Yakuuna) one (Waahidatan) nation (Ummatan), We would have (La) made (Jaäl'naa) for whoever (Liman) disbelieves (Yak'furu) in the GRACIOUS (Bir' Rah'maani); roofs (Suqufan) and (Wa) ladders (Ma'äärija) of (Min) silver (Fiddotin) for (Li) their houses (Buyuuti-him’) on which (Älai'haa) they could climb (Yaz'haruun),
﴾ 34 ﴿ and (Wa) doors (Ab'waaban) for (Li) their houses (Buyuuti-him), and (Wa) couches (Sururan) on which (Älai'haa) they could recline (Yattakiuun)
﴾ 35 ﴿ as (Wa) decoration (Zukh'rufan)*. And (Wa) although (In) all (Kullu) that (Zaalika) is because of (Lammaa) the enjoyment (Mataau) of the worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (El'Hayaati), but (Wa) the hereafter (El'Aakhiratu) with (Enda) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) is for the pious (Lil' Muttaqiin).
﴾ 36 ﴿ And (Wa) whoever (Man) is blinded (Ya'shu) from (Än) remembrance (Zik'ri) of the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani); We send (Nuqayyid') a devil (Shai'toanan) to him (Lahu), and (Fa) he (Huwa) will be his (Lahu) companion (Qariin).
﴾ 37 ﴿ And (Wa) indeed, they (the devils) (Innahum’) will (La) divert them from (Yasudduu-hum’ Äni) the way (Es'Sabiili), but (Wa) they (the blinded) will think (Yah'sabuuna) that they (Annahum) are guided (Muh'taduun)
﴾ 38 ﴿ until (Hattaa), when (Izaa) he (the blinded) comes to Us (Jaa'a-naa), he will say (Qaala), "O (Yaa) if only (Lai'ta) there was a distance (Bu'da) between me and you (Bai'nii Wa Bai'na-ka) as the two easts (El'Mash'riqai'ni)." And (Fa) wretched (Bi'sa) is the companion (El'Qariin).
﴾ 39 ﴿ And (Wa) it will never (Lan) benefit you (Yanfaä-kumu) today (El'Yaw'ma), when (Iz) you have transgressed (Zolam'tum), because you (Annakum) will be in (Fii) a joint (Mush'tarikuun) punishment (El'Äzaabi).
﴾ 40 ﴿ So can you (s) (Afaanta) make the deaf (Es'Summa) hear (-Tus'miu), or (Aw') guide (Tah'dii) the blind (El'Um'ya) and (Wa) one who (Man) is (Kaana) in (Fii) clear (Mubiin) error (Dolaalin)?
﴾ 41 ﴿ And (Fa) whether (Immaa) We cause you (s) to die (Naz'habanna Bi-ka), then (Fa) indeed, We (Innaa) will avenge them (Muntaqimuun Min'hum)
﴾ 42 ﴿ or (Aw') We could show you (s) (Nuriyanna-ka) what (Ellazii) We have promised them (Waäd'naa-hum'), for (Fa) indeed, We (Innaa) are capable of them (Muq'tadiruun Älai'him).
﴾ 43 ﴿ So (Fa) adhere to (Es'tam'sik' Bi) what (Ellazii) has been inspired (Uuhiya) to you (s) (ilai'ka). Indeed, you (s) (Innaka) are upon (Älaa) a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatin). (36:4)
﴾ 44 ﴿ Indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) a remembrance (Zik'run) for you (s) (Laka) and (Wa) for (Li) your people (Qaw'mi-ka), and (Wa) you will (Saw'fa) be questioned (Tus'aluun).
﴾ 45 ﴿ And ask (Was'al') about (Min’) Our messengers (Rusuli-naa) whom (Man') We sent (Ar'sal'naa) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka); did (A-) We assign (-jaäl'naa) gods (Aalihatan) besides (Min Duuni) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani) to be worshipped (Yu'baduun)?
﴾ 46 ﴿ And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') sent (Ar'sal'naa) Moses (Muusaa) with (Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa) to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na) and his assembly (Malai'hi), and (Fa) he (Moses) said (Qaala), "Indeed, I am (Innii) a messenger (Rasuulu) of the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin)."
﴾ 47 ﴿ But (Fa) when (Lammaa) he presented (Jaa'a-hum Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa), then (Izaa) they (Hum) laughed at them (the signs) (Yad'hakuun Min'haa).
