الۤرۚ كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ إِلَیۡكَ لِتُخۡرِجَ ٱلنَّاسَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰ⁠طِ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ A (Alif), L (Laam), R (Ra): A book (Kitaabun) which We have revealed (Anzal'naa-hu) to you (s) (ilai'ka) in order to (Li) bring (Tukh'rija) the people (En'Naasa) out of (Mina) darknesses (Ez'Zulumaati) into (ilaa) the light (En'Nuuri), by (Bi) the permission (Iz'ni) of their LORD (Rabbi-him) to (ilaa) the path (Siraati) of the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the PRAISEWORTHY (El' Hamiid). ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِی لَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَوَیۡلࣱ لِّلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ مِنۡ عَذَابࣲ شَدِیدٍ GOD (Ellahi) is the One (Ellazii) to whom belongs (Lahu) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Wa) woe (Wai'lun) to the disbelievers (Lil' Kaafiriina) of (Min’) a severe (Shadiid) punishment (Äzaabin). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:2

ٱلَّذِینَ یَسۡتَحِبُّونَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا عَلَى ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ وَیَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ وَیَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجًاۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ فِی ضَلَـٰلِۭ بَعِیدࣲ The ones who (Ellaziina) prefer (Yas'tahibbuuna) the worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (El'Hayaata) over (Äla) the hereafter (El'Aakhirati) and (Wa) are repelling (Yasudduuna) from (Än) the way of GOD (Sabiili-llahi) while (Wa) seeking to make it (Yab'guunaha) crooked (Ewajan). Those (U'laaika) are in (Fii) distant (Baeed) error (Dolaali). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:3

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا بِلِسَانِ قَوۡمِهِۦ لِیُبَیِّنَ لَهُمۡۖ فَیُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَهۡدِی مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ And (Wa) We do not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'naa) a (Min) messenger (10:47) (Rasuulin) except (illa) in (Bi) the language (tongue) (Lisaani) of his people (Qaw'mi-hi) in order to (Li) clarify (Yubayyina) to them (Lahum), then (Fa) GOD sends astray (Yudillu-llahu) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau) and (Wa) guides (Yah'dii) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaa'u). And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the WISE (El' Hakiim). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:4

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مُوسَىٰ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَاۤ أَنۡ أَخۡرِجۡ قَوۡمَكَ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِ وَذَكِّرۡهُم بِأَیَّىٰمِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارࣲ شَكُورࣲ And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') We sent (Ar'sal'naa) Moses (Muusaa) with (Bi) Our signs (Aayaati-naa) that (An'), "Bring (Akh'rij) your people (Qaw'ma-ka) out of (Mina) darknesses (Ez'Zulumaati) into (ilaa) the light (En'Nuuri) and (Wa) remind them (Zakkir'hum) of (Bi) the days of GOD (Ayyaami-llahi).” Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) all (Kulli) who are patient (Sobbaarin) and grateful (Shakuur). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:5

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِ ٱذۡكُرُوا۟ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنجَىٰكُم مِّنۡ ءَالِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ یَسُومُونَكُمۡ سُوۤءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَیُذَبِّحُونَ أَبۡنَاۤءَكُمۡ وَیَسۡتَحۡیُونَ نِسَاۤءَكُمۡۚ وَفِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُم بَلَاۤءࣱ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ عَظِیمࣱ And (Wa) when (Iz') Moses (Muusaa) said to (Qaala Li) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), "Remember (Ez'kuru') the blessing of GOD (Ni'mata-llahi) upon you (Älai'kum), when (Iz') HE rescued you (Anjaa-kum) from (Min') the people (Aali) of Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na), who were inflicting on you (Yasuumuuna-kum) an evil (Suuw'a) punishment (El'Äzaabi) while (Wa) slaughtering (Yuzabbihuuna) your sons (Ab'naa'a-kum) and (Wa) keeping your women (Nisaa'a-kum) alive (-Yas'tah'yuuna). And (Wa) there was a terrible (Äziim) trial (Balaaun) in (Fii) that (Zaalikum) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:6

وَإِذۡ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمۡ لَىِٕن شَكَرۡتُمۡ لَأَزِیدَنَّكُمۡۖ وَلَىِٕن كَفَرۡتُمۡ إِنَّ عَذَابِی لَشَدِیدࣱ “And (Wa) when (Iz') your LORD (Rabbu-kum) announced (Ta'azzana), ‘Indeed, if (La'in) you are thankful (Shakar'tum’), I will (La) augment you (increase) (Aziidanna-kum’), but (Wa) if (La'in) you disbelieve (Kafar'tum’); indeed (Inna), MY punishment (Äzaabii) is (La) severe (Shadiid).’ " https://thegreatkoran.com/14:7

وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰۤ إِن تَكۡفُرُوۤا۟ أَنتُمۡ وَمَن فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِیعࣰا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَغَنِیٌّ حَمِیدٌ And (Wa) Moses (Muusaa) said (Qaala), "If (In) you (Antum’) and whoever (Waman) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) should disbelieve (Tak'furuu') all together (Jamiiään), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is (La) Rich (Ganiyyu) and Praiseworthy (Hamiid)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:8

أَلَمۡ یَأۡتِكُمۡ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ قَوۡمِ نُوحࣲ وَعَادࣲ وَثَمُودَ وَٱلَّذِینَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ لَا یَعۡلَمُهُمۡ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ جَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَرَدُّوۤا۟ أَیۡدِیَهُمۡ فِیۤ أَفۡوَ ٰ⁠هِهِمۡ وَقَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّا كَفَرۡنَا بِمَاۤ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَفِی شَكࣲّ مِّمَّا تَدۡعُونَنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِ مُرِیبࣲ Has (A-) the news (Nabau') of those (Ellaziina) before you (p) (Min Qab'li-kum) not (-lam') reached you (Ya'ti-kum), the people (Qaw'mi) of Noah (Nuuhin), Ad (Äädi), Thamud (Thamuuda) and (Wa) those (Ellaziina) after them (Min Ba'di-him)? None (Laa) knows them (Ya'lamu-hum) except (illa) GOD (Ellahu). Their messengers (Rusulu-hum) brought them (Jaa'at'hum Bi) proofs (El'Bayyinaati), but (Fa) they returned (Radduu') their hands (Ai'diya-hum) to (Fii) their mouths (Af'waahi-him) and (Wa) said (Qaaluu'), "Indeed (Innaa), we disbelieve (Kafar'naa) in what (Bimaa) you have been sent with (Ur'sil'tum Bi-hi). Indeed, we (Innaa) are in (Lafii) doubt (Shakkin) of what (Mimmaa) you invite us (Tad'uuna-naa) to (ilai'hi), by being doubtful (Muriib)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:9

۞ قَالَتۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ أَفِی ٱللَّهِ شَكࣱّ فَاطِرِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ یَدۡعُوكُمۡ لِیَغۡفِرَ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَیُؤَخِّرَكُمۡ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۚ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُنَا تُرِیدُونَ أَن تَصُدُّونَا عَمَّا كَانَ یَعۡبُدُ ءَابَاۤؤُنَا فَأۡتُونَا بِسُلۡطَـٰنࣲ مُّبِینࣲ Their messengers (Rusulu-hum’) said (Qaalat’), "Is there (A-) a doubt (Shakkun) about GOD (-fiillahi); Originator (Faatiri) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di)? HE invites you (Yad'uu-kum) in order to (Li) forgive you (Yag'fira Lakum) for (Min) your sins (Zunuubi-kum) and (Wa) delay you (Yuak'khira-kum) for (ilaa) a fixed (Musamman) term (Ajalin)." They said (Qaaluu'), "You (Antum) are only (In' illa) men (Basharun) like us (Mith'lu-naa) who intend (Turiiduuna) to (An) turn us away (Tasudduuna) from what (Ämmaa) our fathers (Aabaau-naa) used to (Kaana) worship (Ya'budu). So bring us (Fa'tuu-naa Bi) a clear (Mubiin) authority (Sul'toanin)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:10

قَالَتۡ لَهُمۡ رُسُلُهُمۡ إِن نَّحۡنُ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُكُمۡ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَمُنُّ عَلَىٰ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۖ وَمَا كَانَ لَنَاۤ أَن نَّأۡتِیَكُم بِسُلۡطَـٰنٍ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ Their messengers (Rusulu-hum) said (Qaalat) to them (Lahum), "We (Nah'nu) are only (In illa) men (Basharun) like you (Mith'lu-kum), but (Walaakinna) GOD (Ellaha) favours (Yamunnu Älaa) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau) among (Min') HIS servants (Ebaadi-hi). It is (Kaana) not (Maa) for us (Lanaa) to (An) bring you (Na'tiya-kum Bi) any authority (Sul'toanin) except (illa) by (Bi) the permission of GOD (Iz'ni-llahi), and (Wa) so let (Fal') the believers (El'Mu'minuun) rely (Yatawakkali) on GOD (Älaallahi). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:11

وَمَا لَنَاۤ أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَقَدۡ هَدَىٰنَا سُبُلَنَاۚ وَلَنَصۡبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَاۤ ءَاذَیۡتُمُونَاۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ "And (Wa) why should we (Maa Lanaa) not (Alla) rely (Natawakkala) on GOD (Älallahi) while (Wa) HE has (Qad') guided us (Hadaa-naa) in our ways (Subula-naa)? We will (La) be patient (Nas'biranna) over (Älaa) whatever (Maa) harm you would cause us (Aazai'tumuu-naa). And (Wa) so let (Fal') those of confidence (El'Mutawakkiluun) rely (Yatawakkali) on GOD (Älaallahi)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:12

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِرُسُلِهِمۡ لَنُخۡرِجَنَّكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِنَاۤ أَوۡ لَتَعُودُنَّ فِی مِلَّتِنَاۖ فَأَوۡحَىٰۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡ رَبُّهُمۡ لَنُهۡلِكَنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') said (Qaala) to (Li) their messengers (Rusuli-him), "We will (La) expel you (Nukh'rijanna-kum) from (Min') our land (Ar'di-naa), or (Aw') you have to (La) return (-Tauudunna) to (Fii) our creed (Millati-naa)." So (Fa) their LORD (Rabbu-hum) inspired (Aw'haa) to them (ilai'him), "We will (La) annihilate (Nuh'likanna) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:13

وَلَنُسۡكِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامِی وَخَافَ وَعِیدِ "And (Wa) We will (La) make you dwell in (Nus'kinanna-kumu) the land (El'Ar'do) after them (Min Ba'di-him’). That (Ziaalika) is for whoever (Liman') fears (Khaafa) MY position (Maqaamii) and fear (Khaafa) MY threat (Waeedi)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:14

وَٱسۡتَفۡتَحُوا۟ وَخَابَ كُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِیدࣲ And (Wa) they sought for victory (Es'taf'tahu'), but (Wa) all (Kullu) who were tough (Jabbaarin) and stubborn (Äniid) failed (unsuccessful) (Khaaba). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:15

مِّن وَرَاۤىِٕهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ وَیُسۡقَىٰ مِن مَّاۤءࣲ صَدِیدࣲ Beyond him (Min Waraai-hi) is Hell (Jahannamu), and he will be given to drink (Yus'qaa) from (Min) pus (Sodiid) water (Maain); https://thegreatkoran.com/14:16

یَتَجَرَّعُهُۥ وَلَا یَكَادُ یُسِیغُهُۥ وَیَأۡتِیهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانࣲ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَیِّتࣲۖ وَمِن وَرَاۤىِٕهِۦ عَذَابٌ غَلِیظࣱ he (the transgressor) will gulp it down (Yatajarrau-hu) but (Wa) will hardly (Laa Yakaadu) swallow it (Yusiigu-hu), and death (El'Maw'tu) will come to him (Ya'tii-hi) from (Min) every (Kulli) place (Makaanin), but (Wa) he (Huwa) will not (Maa Bi) die (Mayyitin), and (Wa) beyond it (Min Waraai-hi) is a rough (Galiiz) punishment (Äzaabun). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:17

مَّثَلُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمۡۖ أَعۡمَـٰلُهُمۡ كَرَمَادٍ ٱشۡتَدَّتۡ بِهِ ٱلرِّیحُ فِی یَوۡمٍ عَاصِفࣲۖ لَّا یَقۡدِرُونَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ عَلَىٰ شَیۡءࣲۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَـٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِیدُ The example (Mathalu) of those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') in (Bi) their LORD (Rabbi-him) is; their deeds (A'maalu-hum) are like (Ka) ashes (Ramaadin) whereby (Bihi) the wind (Er'Riihu) blows (Esh'taddat’) on (Fii) a stormy (Ääsifin) day (Yaw'min). They will not (Laa) be capable of (Yaq'diruuna Älaa) anything (Shai'in) from what (Mimmaa) they have earned (Kasabu'); that (Zaalika) is (Huwa) a distant (El'Baeed) error (Ed'Dolaalu). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:18

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ إِن یَشَأۡ یُذۡهِبۡكُمۡ وَیَأۡتِ بِخَلۡقࣲ جَدِیدࣲ Have you not (Alam') seen (Tara) that GOD (Annallaha) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) in truth (Bil' Haqqi)? If (In) HE wills (Yasha'), HE will remove you (Yuz'hib'kum) and (Wa) bring (Ya'ti Bi) a new (Jadiid) creation (Khal'qin). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:19

وَمَا ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ بِعَزِیزࣲ And (Wa) that (Zaalika) is not (Maa Bi) difficult (Äziiz) for GOD (Älaallahi). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:20

وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ جَمِیعࣰا فَقَالَ ٱلضُّعَفَـٰۤؤُا۟ لِلَّذِینَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوۤا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا لَكُمۡ تَبَعࣰا فَهَلۡ أَنتُم مُّغۡنُونَ عَنَّا مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ قَالُوا۟ لَوۡ هَدَىٰنَا ٱللَّهُ لَهَدَیۡنَـٰكُمۡۖ سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَیۡنَاۤ أَجَزِعۡنَاۤ أَمۡ صَبَرۡنَا مَا لَنَا مِن مَّحِیصࣲ And (Wa) they will appear (Barazu') before GOD (Lillahi) all together (Jamiiään), then (Fa) the weak (Ed'Duäfaau) will say (Qaala) to those who (Lillaziina) were arrogant (Es'tak'baruu'), "Indeed (Innaa), we were (Kunnaa) your followers (Lakum' Taba'ään), so (Fa) can (Hal') you (Antum) spare us (Mag'nuuna Änna) at all (Min Shai'in) from (Min') the punishment of GOD (Äzaabi-llahi)?” They (the arrogant) will say (Qaalu'), "If (Law') GOD (Ellahu) had guided us (Hadaa-naa), we would have (La) guided you (Hadai'naa-kum); it is the same (Sawaa'un) for us (Älai'naa) whether we are worried (-Ajazi'naa) or (Am') patient (Sobar'naa), there is no (Maa Min) escape (Mahiis) for us (Lanaa)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:21

وَقَالَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لَمَّا قُضِیَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمۡ وَعۡدَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمۡ فَأَخۡلَفۡتُكُمۡۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِیَ عَلَیۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَـٰنٍ إِلَّاۤ أَن دَعَوۡتُكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَجَبۡتُمۡ لِیۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِی وَلُومُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَكُمۖ مَّاۤ أَنَا۠ بِمُصۡرِخِكُمۡ وَمَاۤ أَنتُم بِمُصۡرِخِیَّ إِنِّی كَفَرۡتُ بِمَاۤ أَشۡرَكۡتُمُونِ مِن قَبۡلُۗ إِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ And (Wa) the devil (18:50) (Es'Shai'toanu) will say (Qaala), after (Lammaa) the matter (El'Am'ru) has been judged (Qudiya), "Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) promised you (p) (Waäda-kum) a truthful (El'Haqqi) promise (Wa'da), and (Wa) I promised you (Waädttu-kum), but (Fa) I broke my promise to you (Akh'laf'tu-kum). I did not have (Maa Kaana Liya) any (Min) authority (Sul'toanin) over you (Älai'kum) except (illa) that (An) I invited you (Daäw'tu-kum) and (Fa) you responded to me (Es'tajab'tum Lii). So do not (Falaa) blame me (Taluumuu-nii), but (Wa) blame (Luumuu') yourselves (Anfusa-kum). I (Ana') cannot (Maa Bi) call for your help (Mus'riji-kum), nor (Wamaa Bi) can you (Antum) call for my help (Mus'riji-yya). Indeed, I (Innii) disbelieved (Kafar'tu) in what (Bimaa) you associated me (Ash'rak'tumuuni) before (Min Qab'lu). Indeed (Inna), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina) will have (Lahum) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Äzaabun)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:22

وَأُدۡخِلَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِمۡۖ تَحِیَّتُهُمۡ فِیهَا سَلَـٰمٌ And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) did (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) will be admitted (Ud'khila) into gardens (Jannaatin) beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii) eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiiha) by (Bi) the permission (Iz'ni) of their LORD (Rabbi-him). Their greeting (Tahiyyatu-hum) therein (Fiihaa) will be, "Peace (Salaam)." (10:10) https://thegreatkoran.com/14:23

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَیۡفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلࣰا كَلِمَةࣰ طَیِّبَةࣰ كَشَجَرَةࣲ طَیِّبَةٍ أَصۡلُهَا ثَابِتࣱ وَفَرۡعُهَا فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ Have you not (Alam') seen (Tara) how (Kai'fa) GOD cites (Doraba-llahu) the example (Mathalan) of a good (Toyyibatan) word (Kalimatan) like (Ka) a good (Toyyibatin) tree (Shajaratin) whose root (As'lu-haa) is fixed (Thaabitun) and (Wa) its branches (Far'u-haa) are in (Fii) the sky (Es'Samaa')? https://thegreatkoran.com/14:24

تُؤۡتِیۤ أُكُلَهَا كُلَّ حِینِۭ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهَاۗ وَیَضۡرِبُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَذَكَّرُونَ Its fruit (Ukula-ha) occurs (Tu'tii) all (Kulla) the time (Hiini) by (Bi) the permission (Iz'ni) of its LORD (Rabbi-haa). And (Wa) GOD cites (Yad'ribu-llahu) the examples (El'Am'thaala) for the people (Lin' Naasi) perhaps they (Laällahum) will take heed (Yatazakkaruun). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:25

وَمَثَلُ كَلِمَةٍ خَبِیثَةࣲ كَشَجَرَةٍ خَبِیثَةٍ ٱجۡتُثَّتۡ مِن فَوۡقِ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَا لَهَا مِن قَرَارࣲ And (Wa) the example (Mathalu) of a bad (Khabiithatin) word (Kalimatin) like (Ka) a bad (Khabiithatin) tree (Shajaratin) uprooted (Ej'tut'that') above (Min Faw'qi) the ground (El'Ar'di), it has (Lahaa) no (Maa Min) stability (Qaraar). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:26

یُثَبِّتُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ ٱلثَّابِتِ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَفِی ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِۖ وَیُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَۚ وَیَفۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ مَا یَشَاۤءُ GOD reinforces (Yuthabbitu-llahu) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') with (Bi) a firm (Etthaabiti) word (El'Qaw'li) in (Fii) the worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (El'Hayaati) and (Wa) in (Fii) the hereafter (El'Aakhirati), and GOD (Ellahu) sends the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin) astray (-Yudillu). ۞ أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِینَ بَدَّلُوا۟ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ كُفۡرࣰا وَأَحَلُّوا۟ قَوۡمَهُمۡ دَارَ ٱلۡبَوَارِ Have you not (Alam') considered (Tara ilaa) those who (Ellaziina) exchanged (Baddalu') the blessing of GOD (Ni'mata-llahi) with disbelief (Kuf'raan) and (Wa) settled (Ahallu') their people (Qaw'ma-hum’) in the home (Daara) of perdition (El'Bawaar)? https://thegreatkoran.com/14:28

جَهَنَّمَ یَصۡلَوۡنَهَاۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ They will burn in (Yas'law'nahaa) Hell (Jahannama); and (Wa) wretched (Bi'sa) is the bottom (base) (El'Qaraar). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:29

وَجَعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادࣰا لِّیُضِلُّوا۟ عَن سَبِیلِهِۦۗ قُلۡ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَإِنَّ مَصِیرَكُمۡ إِلَى ٱلنَّارِ And (Wa) they have assigned (Jaälu') counterparts (2:165) (Andaadan) to GOD (Lillahi) in order to (Li) deviate from (Yudillu' Än) HIS way (Sabiili-hi). Say (Qul'): "Enjoy yourselves (Tamattau'), for (Fa) indeed (Inna), your destiny (Masiira-kum) is at (ilaa) the Fire (En'Naar)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:30

قُل لِّعِبَادِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ یُقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَیُنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ سِرࣰّا وَعَلَانِیَةࣰ مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَ یَوۡمࣱ لَّا بَیۡعࣱ فِیهِ وَلَا خِلَـٰلٌ Tell (Qul Li) MY servants (Ebaadiya) who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') to establish (Yuqiimu') the Litany (liturgy) (Es'Solaata) and (Wa) disburse (Yunfiqu') from what (Mimmaa) We have provided for them (Razaq'naa-hum); secretly (Sirraan) and publicly (Älaaniyatan), before (Min Qab'li An) a day (Yaw'mun) comes (Ya'tiya) wherein (Fiihi) there is no (Laa) transaction (Bai'un) nor (Walaa) friendship (Khilaal). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:31

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَخۡرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰ⁠تِ رِزۡقࣰا لَّكُمۡۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ لِتَجۡرِیَ فِی ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرَ GOD (Ellahu) is the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and (Wa) sends down (Anzala) water (Maa'an) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) and (Fa) produces (Akh'raja) sustenance (Riz'qan) of (Mina) fruits (Etthamaraati) thereby (Bihi) for you (Lakum). And (Wa) HE subjugated (Sakkhara) the ship (El'Ful'ka) for you (Lakumu) to (Li) sail (Taj'riya) through (Fii) the sea (El'Bah'ri) by (Bi) HIS command (Am'ri-hi) and (Wa) subjugated (Sakkhara) the rivers (El'An'haar) for you (Lakumu). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:32

وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ دَاۤىِٕبَیۡنِۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّیۡلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ And (Wa) HE subjugated (Sakkhara) for you (Lakumu) the sun (Es'Sam'sa) and (Wa) the moon (El'Qamara), both assiduously (Daaibai'ni), and subjugated (Sakkhara) the night (Ellai'la) and the day (En'Nahaar) for you (Lakumu). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:33

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَاۤۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ لَظَلُومࣱ كَفَّارࣱ And (Wa) HE gives you (Aataa-kum) of (Min) all (Kulli) what (Maa) you ask of HIM (Sa'al'tumuu-hu). And (Wa) if (In) you should count (Tauddu') the blessing of GOD (Ni'mata-llahi), you could not (Laa) calculate them (Tuh'suu-haa). Indeed (Inna), the human being (El' Insaana) is (La) unjust (Zoluumun) and ungrateful (Kaffaar). (33:72) https://thegreatkoran.com/14:34

وَإِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَ ٰ⁠هِیمُ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدَ ءَامِنࣰا وَٱجۡنُبۡنِی وَبَنِیَّ أَن نَّعۡبُدَ ٱلۡأَصۡنَامَ And (Wa) when (Iz') Abraham (Ib'raahiimu)* said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), make (Ej'äl’) this (Haaza) a safe (Aaminan) land (95:3) (El'Balada) and (Wa) avert me (Ej'nub'nii) and my children (Baniyya) from (An) the worship (Na'buda) of idols (7:138) (El'As'naam). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:35

رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضۡلَلۡنَ كَثِیرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِی فَإِنَّهُۥ مِنِّیۖ وَمَنۡ عَصَانِی فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ "LORD (Rabbi), they have indeed (Innahunna) misled (Ad'lal'na) many (Kathiiran) of (Mina) the people (En'Naasi). So whoever (Faman) follows me (Tabiä-nii), then (Fa) indeed, he (Innahu) is of me (3:68) (Minnii); but (Wa) whoever (Man) disobeys me (Äsoa-nii), then (Fa) indeed, YOU (Innaka) are Forgiving (Gafuurun) and Merciful (Rahiim). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:36

رَّبَّنَاۤ إِنِّیۤ أَسۡكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّیَّتِی بِوَادٍ غَیۡرِ ذِی زَرۡعٍ عِندَ بَیۡتِكَ ٱلۡمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِیُقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱجۡعَلۡ أَفۡـِٔدَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ تَهۡوِیۤ إِلَیۡهِمۡ وَٱرۡزُقۡهُم مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰ⁠تِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَشۡكُرُونَ "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), indeed, I (Innii) have settled (As'kantu) some of (Min) my offspring (Zurriyyatii) in (Bi) a valley (Waadin) without (Gai'ri Zii) planting (Zar'en) near (Enda) YOUR (-ka) Sacred (El’Muharrami) House (mosque) (Bai'ta-), our LORD (Rabba-naa), so that (Li) they may establish (Yuqiimu') the Litany (Es'Solaata). So (Fa) make (Ej'äl') the minds (Af'idatan) of (Mina) the people (En'Naasi) incline to them (Tah'wii ilai'him) and (Wa) provide them (Er'zuq'hum) with (Mina) fruits (Etthamaraati) perhaps they (Laällahum) will be thankful (Yash'kuruun). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:37

رَبَّنَاۤ إِنَّكَ تَعۡلَمُ مَا نُخۡفِی وَمَا نُعۡلِنُۗ وَمَا یَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِن شَیۡءࣲ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَا فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), indeed YOU (Innaka) know (Ta'lamu) what (Maa) we conceal (Nukh'fii) and what (Wamaa) we declare (Nu'lin), there is nothing (Maa Min Shai'in) hidden (Yakh'faa) from GOD (Älaallahi) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), nor (Walaa) in (Fii) the heaven (Es'Samaa'). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:38

ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِی وَهَبَ لِی عَلَى ٱلۡكِبَرِ إِسۡمَـٰعِیلَ وَإِسۡحَـٰقَۚ إِنَّ رَبِّی لَسَمِیعُ ٱلدُّعَاۤءِ "Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi), who (Ellazii) has granted me (Wahaba Lii) Ishmael (19:54) (Is'maa'iila) and (Wa) Isaac (37:112) (Is'haaqa) despite (Älaa) my old age (El'Kibari). رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِی مُقِیمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّیَّتِیۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَاۤءِ "LORD (Rabbi), make me (Ej'äl'nii) an establisher (Muqiima) of the Litany (Es'Solaati), and (Wa) of (Min) my offspring (Zurriyyatii). رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِی وَلِوَ ٰ⁠لِدَیَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ یَوۡمَ یَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), forgive me (Eg'fir' Lii) and (Wa) my parents (Waalidayya) as well as (Wa) the believers (Lil' Mu'miniina) on the day (Yaw'ma) the reckoning (El'Hisaab) will take place (Yaquumu)." https://thegreatkoran.com/14:41

وَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَـٰفِلًا عَمَّا یَعۡمَلُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَۚ إِنَّمَا یُؤَخِّرُهُمۡ لِیَوۡمࣲ تَشۡخَصُ فِیهِ ٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرُ And (Wa) do not (Laa) think that (Tah'sabanna) GOD (Ellaha) is unaware (Gaafilan) of what (Ämmaa) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimuuna) do (Ya'malu). HE only (Innamaa) delays them (Yuakkiru-hum') for (Li) a day (Yaw'min) in which (Fiihi) the eyesight (El'Ab'soar) will stare (Tash'khasu); https://thegreatkoran.com/14:42

مُهۡطِعِینَ مُقۡنِعِی رُءُوسِهِمۡ لَا یَرۡتَدُّ إِلَیۡهِمۡ طَرۡفُهُمۡۖ وَأَفۡـِٔدَتُهُمۡ هَوَاۤءࣱ craning (Muh'tieena) their heads (Ru'uusi-him') in conviction (Muq'niee), their blink (Tor'fu-hum') will not (Laa) return (Yar'taddu) to them (ilai'him'), and (Wa) their minds (Af'idatu-hum') will be denudated (air) (Hawaa’). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:43

وَأَنذِرِ ٱلنَّاسَ یَوۡمَ یَأۡتِیهِمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ فَیَقُولُ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ رَبَّنَاۤ أَخِّرۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ قَرِیبࣲ نُّجِبۡ دَعۡوَتَكَ وَنَتَّبِعِ ٱلرُّسُلَۗ أَوَلَمۡ تَكُونُوۤا۟ أَقۡسَمۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ مَا لَكُم مِّن زَوَالࣲ And (Wa) warn (Anziri) the people (En'Naasa) of a day (Yaw'ma) the punishment (El'Äzaabu) will come to them (Ya'tii-himu), then (Fa) those who (Ellaziina) transgressed (Zolamu') will say (Yaquulu), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), delay us (Akkhir'naa) to (ilaa) a nearby (Qariibin) term (Ajalin); we will answer (Nujib') YOUR call (invitation) (Da'wata-ka) and (Wa) follow (Nattabie) the messengers (Er'Rusula)." Or have you not (Awalam') been (Takuunuu) swearing (Aq'sam'tum) before (Min Qab'lu) that there would be no (Maa Min) cessation (Zawaali) for you (Lakum)? https://thegreatkoran.com/14:44

وَسَكَنتُمۡ فِی مَسَـٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَتَبَیَّنَ لَكُمۡ كَیۡفَ فَعَلۡنَا بِهِمۡ وَضَرَبۡنَا لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَمۡثَالَ And (Wa) you lived (Sakantum') in (Fii) the houses (Masaakini) of those who (Ellaziina) wronged (Zolamuu’) their souls (Anfusa-hum'), and (Wa) it became clear (Tabayyana) to you (Lakum') how (Kai'fa) We dealt (Faäl'naa) with them (Bihim'), as (Wa) We cited (Dorab'naa) the examples (El'Am'thaal) for you (Lakumu)? https://thegreatkoran.com/14:45

وَقَدۡ مَكَرُوا۟ مَكۡرَهُمۡ وَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَكۡرُهُمۡ وَإِن كَانَ مَكۡرُهُمۡ لِتَزُولَ مِنۡهُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ And (Wa) they had (Qad') schemed (Makaru') their scheme (Mak'ra-hum'), but (Wa) with GOD (Endallahi) is their scheme (Mak'ru-hum'), whether (In) their scheme (Mak'ru-hum') was (Kaana) to (Li) get rid of (Tazuula Min'hu) the mountains (El'Jibaal). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:46

فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِفَ وَعۡدِهِۦ رُسُلَهُۥۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِیزࣱ ذُو ٱنتِقَامࣲ So (Fa) do not (Laa) think that (Tah'sabanna) GOD (Ellaha) will break (Mukh'lifa) HIS promise (Wa'di-hi) to HIS messengers (Rusula-hu). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is mighty (Äziizun) with (Zuu) vengeance (Entiqaam). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:47

یَوۡمَ تُبَدَّلُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ غَیۡرَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تُۖ وَبَرَزُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡوَ ٰ⁠حِدِ ٱلۡقَهَّارِ The day (Yaw'ma) the earth (El'Ar'du) will be substituted with (Tubaddalu) another (Gai'ra) earth (El'Ar'di) together with (Wa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaatu), they (p) will appear (Barazu') before GOD (Lillahi), the ONE (El' Waahidi), the CONQUEROR (El' Qahhaar). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:48

وَتَرَى ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ مُّقَرَّنِینَ فِی ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ And (Wa) you will see (Taraa) the criminals (El'Muj'rimiina) on that day (Yaw'maizin) enchained (Muqarraniina) in (Fii) handcuffs (El'As'faad). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:49

سَرَابِیلُهُم مِّن قَطِرَانࣲ وَتَغۡشَىٰ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ Their garments (Saraabiilu-hum) of (Min) tar (Qatiraanin), and (Wa) their faces (Wujuuha-humu) covered (Tag'shaa) by the Fire (En'Naar). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:50

لِیَجۡزِیَ ٱللَّهُ كُلَّ نَفۡسࣲ مَّا كَسَبَتۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَرِیعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ So that (Li) GOD will recompense (Yaj'ziya-llahu) every (Kulla) soul (Naf'sin) for what (Maa) it earned (Kasabat'). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is swift (Sariiu) in reckoning (El'Hisaab). https://thegreatkoran.com/14:51

هَـٰذَا بَلَـٰغࣱ لِّلنَّاسِ وَلِیُنذَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَلِیَعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰ⁠حِدࣱ وَلِیَذَّكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ This (Haaza) is notification (13:40) (Balaagun) for the people (Lin' Naasi) so (Wa) that (Li) they may be warned (Yunzaru') by it (Bihi) and that (Wali) they may know (Ya'lamuu') that (Annamaa) HE (Huwa) is One (Waahidun) God (ilaahun) so that (Wali) those (U'lu') of intelligence (El'Al'baab) will be reminded (Yazzakkara).
