Y. S سُورَةُ يسٓ
﴾ ١ ﴿ یسۤ
﴾ 1 ﴿
Y (Ya)*, S (Siin)*:
﴾ ٢ ﴿ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡحَكِیمِ
﴾ 2 ﴿
By (Wa) the Wise (El'Hakiim) Koran (El'Qur'aani).
﴾ ٣ ﴿ إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ
﴾ 3 ﴿
Indeed, you (s) (Innaka) are (La) among (Mina) the messengers (El'Mur'saliin) (37:181)
﴾ ٤ ﴿ عَلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ
﴾ 4 ﴿
on (Älaa) a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatin)
﴾ ٥ ﴿ تَنزِیلَ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلرَّحِیمِ
﴾ 5 ﴿
with a revelation (Tanziila) of the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim)
﴾ ٦ ﴿ لِتُنذِرَ قَوۡمࣰا مَّاۤ أُنذِرَ ءَابَاۤؤُهُمۡ فَهُمۡ غَـٰفِلُونَ
﴾ 6 ﴿
so that (Li) you (s) may warn (Tunzira) a people (Qaw'man) whose fathers (Aabaau-hum’) were not (Maa) warned (Unzira), so (Fa) they (Hum) are unaware (Gaafiluun).
﴾ ٧ ﴿ لَقَدۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَىٰۤ أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ
﴾ 7 ﴿
The word (El'Qaw'lu) has been (Laqad') imposed on (Haqqa Älaa) most of them (Ak'thari-him), so (Fa) they (Hum) do not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).
﴾ ٨ ﴿ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَا فِیۤ أَعۡنَـٰقِهِمۡ أَغۡلَـٰلࣰا فَهِیَ إِلَى ٱلۡأَذۡقَانِ فَهُم مُّقۡمَحُونَ
﴾ 8 ﴿
Indeed (Innaa), We have placed (Jaäl'naa) shackles (Ag'laalan) around (Fii) their necks (A'naaqi-him) and (Fa) which (Hiya) are up to (ilaa) the chins (El'Az'qaani), so (Fa) they (Hum) are apportioned (Muq'mahuun).
﴾ ٩ ﴿ وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنۢ بَیۡنِ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ سَدࣰّا وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ سَدࣰّا فَأَغۡشَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ فَهُمۡ لَا یُبۡصِرُونَ
﴾ 9 ﴿
And (Wa) We have placed (Jaäl'naa) an obstruction (Saddan) in front of them (Min Bai'ni Ai'dii-him) and (Wa) an obstruction (Saddan) behind them (Khal'fi-him) and (Fa) covered them (Ag'shai'naa-hum), so (Fa) they (Hum) do not (Laa) see (Yub'siruun).
﴾ ١٠ ﴿ وَسَوَاۤءٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَأَنذَرۡتَهُمۡ أَمۡ لَمۡ تُنذِرۡهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ
﴾ 10 ﴿
It is the same (Sawaa'un) for them (Älai'him) whether (A-) you warn them (-anzar'ta-hum) or (Am') you do not (Lam') warn them (Tunzir'hum), they will not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).
﴾ ١١ ﴿ إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَخَشِیَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنَ بِٱلۡغَیۡبِۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِمَغۡفِرَةࣲ وَأَجۡرࣲ كَرِیمٍ
﴾ 11 ﴿
You can only (Innamaa) warn (Tunziru) one who (Mani) follows (Ettabaä) the Remembrance (38:1) (Ez'Zik'ra) and (Wa) fears (Khashiya) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maana) in the unseen (Bil' Gai'bi). So (Fa) give him good news (Bas'shir'hu) of (Bi) forgiveness (Mag'firatin) and honourable (Kariim) reward (Aj'rin).
﴾ ١٢ ﴿ إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡیِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَنَكۡتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَـٰرَهُمۡۚ وَكُلَّ شَیۡءٍ أَحۡصَیۡنَـٰهُ فِیۤ إِمَامࣲ مُّبِینࣲ
﴾ 12 ﴿
Indeed (Innaa), We (Nah'nu) will revive (Nuh'yii) the dead (El'Maw'taa), for (Wa) We have written (Nak'tubu) whatever (Maa) they sent forth (Qaddamu') and (Wa) their footprints (Aathaara-hum), for (Wa) We have counted (Ah'soi'naa-hu) all (Kulla) things (Shai'in) in (Fii) a clear (Mubiin) index (Imaamin).
﴾ ١٣ ﴿ وَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُم مَّثَلًا أَصۡحَـٰبَ ٱلۡقَرۡیَةِ إِذۡ جَاۤءَهَا ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
﴾ 13 ﴿
And (Wa) cite (Ed'rib') for them (Lahum) the example (Mathalan) of the companions (As'haaba) of the town (El'Qar'yati), when (Iz') the messengers (El'Mur'saluun) came to them (Jaa'a-haa).
﴾ ١٤ ﴿ إِذۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡهِمُ ٱثۡنَیۡنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزۡنَا بِثَالِثࣲ فَقَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّاۤ إِلَیۡكُم مُّرۡسَلُونَ
﴾ 14 ﴿
When (Iz') We sent (Ar'sal'naa) two messengers (Eth'nai'ni) to them (ilai'himu) but (Fa) they denied them both (Kazzabuu-humaa), so (Fa) We reinforced (Äzzaz'naa) with (Bi) a third messenger (Thaalithin), and (Fa) they said (Qaaluu'), "Indeed, we (Innaa) are messengers (Mur'saluun) to you (ilai'kum)."
﴾ ١٥ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ مَاۤ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا بَشَرࣱ مِّثۡلُنَا وَمَاۤ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ مِن شَیۡءٍ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا تَكۡذِبُونَ
﴾ 15 ﴿
They (the people) said (Qaalu'), "You (Antum) are only (Maa illa) humans (Basharun) like us (Mith'lu-naa), and (Wa) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) has not (Maa) sent down (Anzala) anything (Min Shai'in). You (Antum') are only (In illa) lying (Tak'zibuun)."
﴾ ١٦ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا یَعۡلَمُ إِنَّاۤ إِلَیۡكُمۡ لَمُرۡسَلُونَ
﴾ 16 ﴿
They (the messengers) said (Qaalu'), "Our LORD (Rabbu-naa) knows (Ya'lamu) that we (Innaa) are (La) messengers (Mur'saluun) to you (ilai'kum),
﴾ ١٧ ﴿ وَمَا عَلَیۡنَاۤ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ
﴾ 17 ﴿
and (Wa) only (Maa illa) the clear (El'Mubiin) notification (El'Balaagu) is upon us (Älai'naa)."
﴾ ١٨ ﴿ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّا تَطَیَّرۡنَا بِكُمۡۖ لَىِٕن لَّمۡ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرۡجُمَنَّكُمۡ وَلَیَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ
﴾ 18 ﴿
They (the people) said (Qaaluu'), "Indeed (Innaa), we consider you an evil omen (Tatoyyar'naa Bi-kum’). Indeed, if (La'In) you do not (Lam') refrain (Tantahu'), we will (La) stone you (p) (Nar'jumannakum’) and let (Wala) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Äzaabun) touch you (Yamassanna-kum) from us (Minnaa)."
﴾ ١٩ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ طَـٰۤىِٕرُكُم مَّعَكُمۡ أَىِٕن ذُكِّرۡتُمۚ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ قَوۡمࣱ مُّسۡرِفُونَ
﴾ 19 ﴿
They (the messengers) said (Qaalu), "Your omen (Toairu-kum) is with you (Maäkum’). Is it because (A'in) you were reminded (Zukkir'tum)? In fact (Bal'), you (Antum’) are a profligate (Mus'rifuun) people (Qaw'mun)."
﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ وَجَاۤءَ مِنۡ أَقۡصَا ٱلۡمَدِینَةِ رَجُلࣱ یَسۡعَىٰ قَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ
﴾ 20 ﴿
And (Wa) a man (Rajulun) came (Jaa'a) from (Min) the farthest (Aq'soa) of the city (El'Madiinati), striving (Yas'ää), he said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), follow (Ettabiu') the messengers (El'Mur'saliin).
﴾ ٢١ ﴿ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَن لَّا یَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ أَجۡرࣰا وَهُم مُّهۡتَدُونَ
﴾ 21 ﴿
"Follow (Ettabiu') those who (Man) do not (Laa) ask you (Yas'alu-kum) for a wage (Aj'ran) while (Wa) they (Hum) are guided (Muh'taduun).
﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ وَمَا لِیَ لَاۤ أَعۡبُدُ ٱلَّذِی فَطَرَنِی وَإِلَیۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
﴾ 22 ﴿
"Why should I (Maa Liya) not (Laa) worship (A'budu) the One who (Ellazii) originated me (Fatora-nii), and (Wa) to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be returned (Tur'jauun)?
﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦۤ ءَالِهَةً إِن یُرِدۡنِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ بِضُرࣲّ لَّا تُغۡنِ عَنِّی شَفَـٰعَتُهُمۡ شَیۡـࣰٔا وَلَا یُنقِذُونِ
﴾ 23 ﴿
"Should I take (A'attakhizu) gods (Aalihatan) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi)? If (In) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) intends for me (Yurid'ni Bi) adversity (Durri), their intercession (Shafa'aätu-hum) would not (Laa) avail me (Tug'ni Ännii) at all (Shai'an) nor (Walaa) could they rescue me (Yunqizuuni).
﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ إِنِّیۤ إِذࣰا لَّفِی ضَلَـٰلࣲ مُّبِینٍ
﴾ 24 ﴿
"Indeed, I (Innii) then (Izan) would be in (Lafii) clear (Mubiin) error (Dolaalin).
﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ إِنِّیۤ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَٱسۡمَعُونِ
﴾ 25 ﴿
"Indeed, I (Innii) have believed (Aamantu) in (Bi) your LORD (Rabbi-kum’), so (Fa) listen to me (Es'mauuni)."
﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ قِیلَ ٱدۡخُلِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۖ قَالَ یَـٰلَیۡتَ قَوۡمِی یَعۡلَمُونَ
﴾ 26 ﴿
He (the man) was told (Qiila), "Enter (Ed'khuli) the Garden (El'Jannata)." He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) if only (Lai'ta) my people (Qaw'mii) would know (Ya'lamuun),
﴾ ٢٧ ﴿ بِمَا غَفَرَ لِی رَبِّی وَجَعَلَنِی مِنَ ٱلۡمُكۡرَمِینَ
﴾ 27 ﴿
because of what (Bimaa) my LORD (Rabbii) has forgiven me (Gafara Lii) and (Wa) placed me (Jaäla-nii) among (Mina) the honoured (El'Muk'ramiin)."
﴾ ٢٨ ﴿ ۞ وَمَاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ مِن جُندࣲ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِینَ
﴾ 28 ﴿
And (Wa) We did not (Maa) send down (Anzal'naa) any (Min) soldiers (Jundin) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) to (Älaa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi) after him (Min Ba'di-hi) nor (Wamaa) did We (Kunnaa) come down (Munziliin).
﴾ ٢٩ ﴿ إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَیۡحَةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ فَإِذَا هُمۡ خَـٰمِدُونَ
﴾ 29 ﴿
It was (Kaanat') only (In illa) one (Waahidatan) blow (blast) (Soi'hatan), and (Fa) then (Izaa) they (Hum') were silent (dead) (Khaamiduun).
﴾ ٣٠ ﴿ یَـٰحَسۡرَةً عَلَى ٱلۡعِبَادِۚ مَا یَأۡتِیهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
﴾ 30 ﴿
O (Yaa)! Heartbreak (Has'ratan) for (Älaa) the servants (mankind) (El'Ebaadi); no (Maa Min) messenger (Rasuulin) came to them (Ya'tii-him) except (illa) they (Kaanu') humiliated him (Yas'tah'ziuun Bihi).
﴾ ٣١ ﴿ أَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَیۡهِمۡ لَا یَرۡجِعُونَ
﴾ 31 ﴿
Have they not (Alam') seen (Yaraw') how many (Kam') of (Mina) the generations (El'Quruuni) We have annihilated (Ah'lak'naa) before them (Qab'lahum); that they (the annihilated) (Annahum) will not (Laa) return (Yar'jiuun) to them (ilai'him)?
﴾ ٣٢ ﴿ وَإِن كُلࣱّ لَّمَّا جَمِیعࣱ لَّدَیۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَ
﴾ 32 ﴿
And (Wa) indeed (In), everyone (Kullun) will still (Lammaa) be in attendance (Muh'doruun) before Us (Ladai'naa), all together (Jamiiun).
﴾ ٣٣ ﴿ وَءَایَةࣱ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ ٱلۡمَیۡتَةُ أَحۡیَیۡنَـٰهَا وَأَخۡرَجۡنَا مِنۡهَا حَبࣰّا فَمِنۡهُ یَأۡكُلُونَ
﴾ 33 ﴿
And (Wa) a sign (miracle) (Aayatun) for them (Lahumu) is the lifeless (El'Mai'tatu) land (El'Ar'dú) which We revive (Ah'yai'naa-haa) and produce (Akh'raj'naa) grain (Habban) from it (Min'haa), and (Fa) they eat (Yu'kuluun) from it (Min'hu).
﴾ ٣٤ ﴿ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِیهَا جَنَّـٰتࣲ مِّن نَّخِیلࣲ وَأَعۡنَـٰبࣲ وَفَجَّرۡنَا فِیهَا مِنَ ٱلۡعُیُونِ
﴾ 34 ﴿
And (Wa) We placed (Jaäl'naa) therein (Fiiha) gardens (Jannaatin) of (Min) date palms (Nakhiilin) and grapes (A'naabin), and We gushed forth (Fajjar'naa Mina) springs (El'Uyuuni) therein (Fiihaa)
﴾ ٣٥ ﴿ لِیَأۡكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتۡهُ أَیۡدِیهِمۡۚ أَفَلَا یَشۡكُرُونَ
﴾ 35 ﴿
so that (Li) they may eat (Ya'kulu') of (Min) its fruit (Thamari-hi) and (Wa) that which (-hu) their hands (Ai'dii-him) did not (Maa) make (Ämilat-). Will they then not (Afalaa) be thankful (Yash'kuruun)?
﴾ ٣٦ ﴿ سُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَزۡوَ ٰجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنۢبِتُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمِنۡ أَنفُسِهِمۡ وَمِمَّا لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ
﴾ 36 ﴿
Glory (Sub'haana) be to the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) all (Kullaha) kinds (pairs) (El'Az'waaja) of what (Mimmaa) the earth (El'Ar'du) grows (Tunbitu) and (Wa) among (Min') themselves (Anfusi-him) and (Wa) of what (Mimmaa) they do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun).
﴾ ٣٧ ﴿ وَءَایَةࣱ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّیۡلُ نَسۡلَخُ مِنۡهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظۡلِمُونَ
﴾ 37 ﴿
And (Wa) a sign (Aayatun) for them (Lahum) is the night (Ellai'lu); from which (Min'hu) We strip off (Nas'lakhu) the day (En'Nahaara), and (Fa) then (Izaa) they (Hum) are in darkness (Muz'limuun).
﴾ ٣٨ ﴿ وَٱلشَّمۡسُ تَجۡرِی لِمُسۡتَقَرࣲّ لَّهَاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ تَقۡدِیرُ ٱلۡعَزِیزِ ٱلۡعَلِیمِ
﴾ 38 ﴿
And (Wa) the sun (Es'Sham'su) occurs (Taj'rii) for it (Lahaa) to (Li) settle (Mus'taqarrin); that (Zaalika) is the estimation (Taq'diiru) of the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizi), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim).
﴾ ٣٩ ﴿ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ قَدَّرۡنَـٰهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّىٰ عَادَ كَٱلۡعُرۡجُونِ ٱلۡقَدِیمِ
﴾ 39 ﴿
And (Wa) the moon (El'Qamara); We have estimated it (Qaddar'naa-hu) in positions (Manaazila) until (Hattaa) it returns (Ääda) like (Ka) an old (El'Qadiim) palm branch (Ur'juuni).
﴾ ٤٠ ﴿ لَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ یَنۢبَغِی لَهَاۤ أَن تُدۡرِكَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ وَلَا ٱلَّیۡلُ سَابِقُ ٱلنَّهَارِۚ وَكُلࣱّ فِی فَلَكࣲ یَسۡبَحُونَ
﴾ 40 ﴿
The sun (Es'Sham'su) does not (Laa) emerge (Yanbagii) for it (Lahaa) to (An) reach (catch up) (Tud'rika) the moon (El'Qamara), nor (Walaa) does the night (Ellai'lu) precede (-Saabiqu) the daytime (En'Nahaari), but (Wa) each (Kullun) float (Yas'bahuun) in (Fii) an orbit (21:33) (Falakin).
﴾ ٤١ ﴿ وَءَایَةࣱ لَّهُمۡ أَنَّا حَمَلۡنَا ذُرِّیَّتَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ
﴾ 41 ﴿
And (Wa) a sign (Aayatun) for them (Lahum') is that (Annaa) We carried (Hamal'naa) their offspring (Zurriyyata-hum') in (Fii) a loaded (El'Mash'huun) ship (El'Ful'ki).
﴾ ٤٢ ﴿ وَخَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثۡلِهِۦ مَا یَرۡكَبُونَ
﴾ 42 ﴿
And (Wa) We created (Khalaq'naa) from (Min) the likes of it (Mith'li-hi) for them (Lahum) which (Maa) they ride (Yar'kabuun).
﴾ ٤٣ ﴿ وَإِن نَّشَأۡ نُغۡرِقۡهُمۡ فَلَا صَرِیخَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یُنقَذُونَ
﴾ 43 ﴿
And (Wa) if (In) We willed (Nasha'), we could drown them (Nug'riq'hum'), then (Fa) there would be no (Laa) scream (Soriikha) from them (Lahum'), nor (Walaa) would they (Hum') be saved (Yunqazuun),
﴾ ٤٤ ﴿ إِلَّا رَحۡمَةࣰ مِّنَّا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِینࣲ
﴾ 44 ﴿
but (illa) it is a mercy (Rah'matan) from Us (Minnaa) and (Wa) enjoyment (Mataa'än) for (ilaa) a time (Hiin).
﴾ ٤٥ ﴿ وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ مَا بَیۡنَ أَیۡدِیكُمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُرۡحَمُونَ
﴾ 45 ﴿
And (Wa) then (Izaa) they were told (Qiila Lahumu), "Beware of (Ettaqu') what (Maa) is before you (Bai'na Ai'dii-kum') and what (Wamaa) is behind you (Khal'fa-kum') so that you (Laällakum') may attain mercy (Tur'hamuun)."
﴾ ٤٦ ﴿ وَمَا تَأۡتِیهِم مِّنۡ ءَایَةࣲ مِّنۡ ءَایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ إِلَّا كَانُوا۟ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضِینَ
﴾ 46 ﴿
And (Wa) no (Maa Min') verse (sign) (Aayatin) comes to them (Ta'tii-him) from (Min') the verses (Aayaati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him') except (illa) they (Kaanu') turn away from it (Mu'ridiin Än'haa).
﴾ ٤٧ ﴿ وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمۡ أَنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ قَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لِلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ أَنُطۡعِمُ مَن لَّوۡ یَشَاۤءُ ٱللَّهُ أَطۡعَمَهُۥۤ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا فِی ضَلَـٰلࣲ مُّبِینࣲ
﴾ 47 ﴿
And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are told (Qiila Lahum'), "Disburse (Anfiqu') from what (Mimmaa) GOD (Ellahu) has provided for you (Razaqa-kumu), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') say (Qaala) to those who (Lillaziina) have believed (Aamanuu'), "Should we feed (Anut'emu) one whom (Man), if (Law') GOD (Ellahu) had willed (Yashaa'u), He could have fed (At'äma-hu)? You (the believers) (Antum') are only (In' illa) in (Fii) clear (Mubiin) error (Dolaalin)."
﴾ ٤٨ ﴿ وَیَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ
﴾ 48 ﴿
And (Wa) they say (Yaquuluuna), "When (Mataa) is this (Haaza) promise (El'Wa'du), if (In) you should be (Kuntum') truthful (Soadiqiin)?"
﴾ ٤٩ ﴿ مَا یَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَیۡحَةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ تَأۡخُذُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ یَخِصِّمُونَ
﴾ 49 ﴿
They are not (Maa) waiting (Yanzuruuna) except (illa) one (Waahidatan) blast (blow) (Soi'hatan) to seize them (Ta'khuzu-hum') while (Wa) they (Hum') are in opposition (Yakhissimuun),
﴾ ٥٠ ﴿ فَلَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ تَوۡصِیَةࣰ وَلَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِمۡ یَرۡجِعُونَ
﴾ 50 ﴿
and (Fa) they will not (Laa) be able to (Yas'tatiiuuna) bequest (make a will) (Taw'siyatan), nor (Walaa) return (Yar'jiuun) to (ilaa) their people (Ah'li-him').
﴾ ٥١ ﴿ وَنُفِخَ فِی ٱلصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَجۡدَاثِ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ یَنسِلُونَ
﴾ 51 ﴿
And (Wa) the horn (Es'Suuri) will be blown (Nufikha Fii), and (Fa) then (Izaa) they (Hum) will be reproduced (Yansiluun) from (Mina) the tombs (El'Aj'daathi) to (ilaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him').
﴾ ٥٢ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ یَـٰوَیۡلَنَا مَنۢ بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرۡقَدِنَاۜۗ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ وَصَدَقَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلُونَ
﴾ 52 ﴿
They will say (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) woe to us (Wai'la-naa)! Who (Man) has resurrected us (Baätha-naa) from (Min) our mausoleum (Mar'qadi-naa)?" "This (Haaza) is what (Maa) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) had promised (Waäda), and (Wa) the messengers (El'Mur'saluun) spoke the truth (Sodaqa)."
﴾ ٥٣ ﴿ إِن كَانَتۡ إِلَّا صَیۡحَةࣰ وَ ٰحِدَةࣰ فَإِذَا هُمۡ جَمِیعࣱ لَّدَیۡنَا مُحۡضَرُونَ
﴾ 53 ﴿
It will only (In illa) be (Kaanat') one (Waahidatan) blow (Soi'hatan), and (Fa) then (Izaa) they (Hum') will all (Jamii'un) be in attendance (Muh'doruun) before Us (Ladai'naa).
﴾ ٥٤ ﴿ فَٱلۡیَوۡمَ لَا تُظۡلَمُ نَفۡسࣱ شَیۡـࣰٔا وَلَا تُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
﴾ 54 ﴿
So (Fa) today (El'Yaw'ma) no (Laa) soul (Naf'sun) will be wronged (Tuz'lamu) at all (Shai'an), nor (Walaa) will you be requited (Tuj'zaw'na) except (illa) for what (Maa) you have (Kuntum') done (Ta'maluun).
﴾ ٥٥ ﴿ إِنَّ أَصۡحَـٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ فِی شُغُلࣲ فَـٰكِهُونَ
﴾ 55 ﴿
Indeed (Inna), the Companions (As'haaba) of the Garden (El'Jannati), today (El'Yaw'ma), will be amused (Faakihuun) in (Fii) occupation (occupancy) (Shugulin).
﴾ ٥٦ ﴿ هُمۡ وَأَزۡوَ ٰجُهُمۡ فِی ظِلَـٰلٍ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرَاۤىِٕكِ مُتَّكِـُٔونَ
﴾ 56 ﴿
They (Hum') together with (Wa) their spouses (Az'waaju-hum') will be in (Fii) shelter (Zilaalin), resting (Muttakiuun) on (Älaa) couches (El'Araa'iki).
﴾ ٥٧ ﴿ لَهُمۡ فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَلَهُم مَّا یَدَّعُونَ
﴾ 57 ﴿
They will have (Lahum') fruits (Faakihatun) therein (Fiihaa); and (Wa) they will have (Lahum) whatever (Maa) they request (Yadda'uun).
﴾ ٥٨ ﴿ سَلَـٰمࣱ قَوۡلࣰا مِّن رَّبࣲّ رَّحِیمࣲ
﴾ 58 ﴿
"Peace (Salaamun)," a word (Qaw'lan) from (Min) a merciful (Rahiim) LORD (Rabbin).
﴾ ٥٩ ﴿ وَٱمۡتَـٰزُوا۟ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ أَیُّهَا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ
﴾ 59 ﴿
"As for (Wa) you (Ayyuha) criminals (El'Muj'rimuun), stand aside (Em'taazu') today (El'Yaw'ma).
﴾ ٦٠ ﴿ ۞ أَلَمۡ أَعۡهَدۡ إِلَیۡكُمۡ یَـٰبَنِیۤ ءَادَمَ أَن لَّا تَعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ
﴾ 60 ﴿
“Did I (God) not (Alam') make an agreement with you (A'had' ilai'kum'), O (Yaa) Children (Banii) of Adam (Aadama), that (An) you shall not (Laa) serve (Ta'budu') the devil (Es'Shai'toana); that he (Innahu) is a clear (Mubiin) enemy (Äduwwun) to you (Lakum),
﴾ ٦١ ﴿ وَأَنِ ٱعۡبُدُونِیۚ هَـٰذَا صِرَ ٰطࣱ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣱ
﴾ 61 ﴿
and (Wa) that (Ani) serve ME (E'buduu-nii); this (Haaza) is a straight (Mus'taqiim) path (Siraatun)?
﴾ ٦٢ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمۡ جِبِلࣰّا كَثِیرًاۖ أَفَلَمۡ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعۡقِلُونَ
﴾ 62 ﴿
“And (Wa) he (the devil) had already (Laqad') misled (Adolla) many (Kathiiran) of you (Minkum') in multitudes (Jibillan), so have you not (Afalam') been (Takuunu) reasoning (Ta'qiluun)?
﴾ ٦٣ ﴿ هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِی كُنتُمۡ تُوعَدُونَ
﴾ 63 ﴿
“This (Haazihi) is Hell (Jahannamu) which (Ellatii) you were (Kuntum') promised (Tuuäduun).
﴾ ٦٤ ﴿ ٱصۡلَوۡهَا ٱلۡیَوۡمَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡفُرُونَ
﴾ 64 ﴿
"Burn in it (Es'law'haa) today (El'Yawma) for what (Bimaa) you used to (Kuntum') disbelieve (Tak'furuun)."
﴾ ٦٥ ﴿ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ نَخۡتِمُ عَلَىٰۤ أَفۡوَ ٰهِهِمۡ وَتُكَلِّمُنَاۤ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَتَشۡهَدُ أَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَكۡسِبُونَ
﴾ 65 ﴿
It is the day (El'Yaw'ma) We will seal (Nakh'timu Älaa) their mouths (Af'waahi-him'), and (Wa) their hands (Ai'dii-him') will speak to Us (Tukallimu-naa), and (Wa) their legs (Ar'julu-hum) will testify (Tash'hadu) about what (Bimaa) they used to (Kaanu') earn (Yak'sibuun).
﴾ ٦٦ ﴿ وَلَوۡ نَشَاۤءُ لَطَمَسۡنَا عَلَىٰۤ أَعۡیُنِهِمۡ فَٱسۡتَبَقُوا۟ ٱلصِّرَ ٰطَ فَأَنَّىٰ یُبۡصِرُونَ
﴾ 66 ﴿
And (Wa) if (Law') We willed (Nashaau), We could have (La) obliterated (Tomas'naa Älaa) their eyes (A'yuni-him'), so (Fa) they would race to (Es'tabaqu') the path (Es'Siraato), but (Fa) how (Annaa) could they see (Yub'siruun)?
﴾ ٦٧ ﴿ وَلَوۡ نَشَاۤءُ لَمَسَخۡنَـٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِهِمۡ فَمَا ٱسۡتَطَـٰعُوا۟ مُضِیࣰّا وَلَا یَرۡجِعُونَ
﴾ 67 ﴿
And (Wa) if (Law') We willed (Nashaau), We could have (La) disfigured them (Masakh'naa-hum') from (Älaa) their positions (Makaanati-him'), then (Fa) they would not (Maa) be able to (Es'tatoau') proceed (Mudiyyan) nor (Walaa) return (Yar'jiuun).
﴾ ٦٨ ﴿ وَمَن نُّعَمِّرۡهُ نُنَكِّسۡهُ فِی ٱلۡخَلۡقِۚ أَفَلَا یَعۡقِلُونَ
﴾ 68 ﴿
And (Wa) whomever (Man) We give long life (Nuämmir'hu), We reverse him (Nunakkis'hu) in (Fii) creation (El'Khal'qi). Will they then not (Afalaa) reason (Ya'qiluun)?
﴾ ٦٩ ﴿ وَمَا عَلَّمۡنَـٰهُ ٱلشِّعۡرَ وَمَا یَنۢبَغِی لَهُۥۤۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرࣱ وَقُرۡءَانࣱ مُّبِینࣱ
﴾ 69 ﴿
And (Wa) We did not (Maa) teach him (Ällam'naa-hu) poetry (Es'Shi'ra), nor (Wamaa) was it necessary (Yanbagii) for him (Lahu). It (Huwa) is only (In' illa) a remembrance (Zik'run) and a clear (Mubiin) reading (Qur'aanun)
﴾ ٧٠ ﴿ لِّیُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَیࣰّا وَیَحِقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَى ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ
﴾ 70 ﴿
that (Li) he may warn (Yunzira) whoever (Man) is (Kaana) alive (Hayyan) and (Wa) to enforce (Yahiqqa) the word (El'Qaw'lu) against (Älaa) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriin).
﴾ ٧١ ﴿ أَوَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَا لَهُم مِّمَّا عَمِلَتۡ أَیۡدِینَاۤ أَنۡعَـٰمࣰا فَهُمۡ لَهَا مَـٰلِكُونَ
﴾ 71 ﴿
Or do they not (Awalam') see (Yaraw') that (Annaa) We created (Khalaq'naa) for them (Lahum) livestock (An'ääman) from what (Mimmaa) Our hands (Ai'dii-naa) have made (Ämilat'), and (Fa) they (Hum') are owners of them (Maalikuun Lahaa)?
﴾ ٧٢ ﴿ وَذَلَّلۡنَـٰهَا لَهُمۡ فَمِنۡهَا رَكُوبُهُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا یَأۡكُلُونَ
﴾ 72 ﴿
And (Wa) We subdued them (Zallal'naa-haa) for them (Lahum'), so (Fa) they ride (Rakuubu-hum') some of them (Min'haa), and (Wa) some of them (Min'haa) they eat (Ya'kuluun)?
﴾ ٧٣ ﴿ وَلَهُمۡ فِیهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ وَمَشَارِبُۚ أَفَلَا یَشۡكُرُونَ
﴾ 73 ﴿
And (Wa) for them (Lahum') are benefits (Manaafiu) and drinks (Mashaaribu) in them (Fiiha). Will they then not (Afalaa) be thankful (Yash'kuruun)?
﴾ ٧٤ ﴿ وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةࣰ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ یُنصَرُونَ
﴾ 74 ﴿
But (Wa) they have taken (Ettakhazu') gods (Aalihatan) besides the GOD (Min Duuni-llahi) that they (Laällahum) would be helped (Yunsoruun).
﴾ ٧٥ ﴿ لَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ نَصۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُمۡ جُندࣱ مُّحۡضَرُونَ
﴾ 75 ﴿
They (the idols) will not (Laa) be able to (Yas'tatii'uuna) help them (Nas'ra-hum'), and (Wa) they (the idolaters) (Hum') will be soldiers (Jundun) for them (Lahum') in attendance (the punishment) (Muh'doruun).
﴾ ٧٦ ﴿ فَلَا یَحۡزُنكَ قَوۡلُهُمۡۘ إِنَّا نَعۡلَمُ مَا یُسِرُّونَ وَمَا یُعۡلِنُونَ
﴾ 76 ﴿
So (Fa) let not (Laa) their speech (Qaw'lu-hum') grieve you (s) (Yah'zun-ka). Indeed (Innaa), We know (Na'lamu) what (Maa) they conceal (Yusirruuna) and what (Wamaa) they declare (Yu'linuun).
﴾ ٧٧ ﴿ أَوَلَمۡ یَرَ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَـٰهُ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِیمࣱ مُّبِینࣱ
﴾ 77 ﴿
Or does (Awa-) the human being (El' Insaanu) not (-lam') see (Yara) that (Annaa) We created him (Khalaq'naa-hu) from (Min) sperm (Nut'fatin), and (Fa) then (Izaa) he (Huwa) becomes a clear (Mubiin) adversary (Khasiimun)?
﴾ ٧٨ ﴿ وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلࣰا وَنَسِیَ خَلۡقَهُۥۖ قَالَ مَن یُحۡیِ ٱلۡعِظَـٰمَ وَهِیَ رَمِیمࣱ
﴾ 78 ﴿
And (Wa) he (the human) cites (Doraba) an example (Mathalan) for us (Lanaa) while (Wa) forgetting (Nasiya) his creation (Khal'qa-hu)? He says (Qaala), "Who (Man) will revive (Yu'hii) the bones (El'Ezoama) while (Wa) they (Hiya) are rotten (decayed) (Ramiim)?"
﴾ ٧٩ ﴿ قُلۡ یُحۡیِیهَا ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنشَأَهَاۤ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةࣲۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلۡقٍ عَلِیمٌ
﴾ 79 ﴿
Say (Qul'): "The One who (Ellazii) established them (Ansha'a-haa) the first (Awwala) time (Marratin) will revive them (Yuh'yii-haa); and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is aware of (Äliim Bi) every (Kulli) creation (Khal'qin)."
﴾ ٨٠ ﴿ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّجَرِ ٱلۡأَخۡضَرِ نَارࣰا فَإِذَاۤ أَنتُم مِّنۡهُ تُوقِدُونَ
﴾ 80 ﴿
The One who (Ellazii) granted you (Jaäla Lakum) fire (Naaran) from (Mina) the greenish (El'Akh'dori) tree (Es'Shajari), and (Fa) then (Izaa) you (Antum) ignite (Tuuqiduun) from it (Min'hu).
﴾ ٨١ ﴿ أَوَلَیۡسَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰۤ أَن یَخۡلُقَ مِثۡلَهُمۚ بَلَىٰ وَهُوَ ٱلۡخَلَّـٰقُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ
﴾ 81 ﴿
Or is (Awa-) the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) not (-lai'sa Bi) able (Qaadirin Älaa) to (An) create (Yakh'luqa) the likes of them (Mith'la-hum)? Certainly (Balaa); for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the CREATIVE (El' Khallaaqu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim).
﴾ ٨٢ ﴿ إِنَّمَاۤ أَمۡرُهُۥۤ إِذَاۤ أَرَادَ شَیۡـًٔا أَن یَقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَیَكُونُ
﴾ 82 ﴿
Whenever (Izaa) HE intends (Araada) something (Shai'an) HIS command (Am'ru-hu) is only (Innamaa) to (An) say (Yaquula) to it (Lahu), "Be (Kun)," then (Fa) it becomes (Yakuun). (2:117)
﴾ ٨٣ ﴿ فَسُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱلَّذِی بِیَدِهِۦ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ وَإِلَیۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ
﴾ 83 ﴿
So (Fa) glory (Sub'haana) be to the One (Ellazii) in (Bi) whose hand (Yadi-hi) is the kingdom (7:185) (Malakuutu) of all (Kulli) things (Shai'in), and (Wa) to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be returned (Tur'ja'uun).
