T. H سُورَةُ طه

 ﴾ ١ ﴿ طه
 ﴾ 1 ﴿ T (To)*, H (Ha)*:
 ﴾ ٢ ﴿ مَاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِتَشۡقَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 2 ﴿ We did not (Maa) reveal (Anzal'naa) the Koran (El'Qur'aana) to you (s) (Älai'ka) in order to (Li) suffer (Tash'qaa)
 ﴾ ٣ ﴿ إِلَّا تَذۡكِرَةࣰ لِّمَن یَخۡشَىٰ
 ﴾ 3 ﴿ except (illa) as a reminder (69:48) (Taz'kiratan) for those who (Liman) fear (Yakh'sha).
 ﴾ ٤ ﴿ تَنزِیلࣰا مِّمَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ ٱلۡعُلَى
 ﴾ 4 ﴿ A revelation (Tanziilan) from One who (Mimman') created (Khalaqa) the earth (El'Ar'do) and the highest (El'Ula) heavens (Es'Samaawaati).
 ﴾ ٥ ﴿ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱسۡتَوَىٰ
 ﴾ 5 ﴿ The GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu), firmly seated on (Es'tawaa Äla) the Throne (El'Är'shi).
 ﴾ ٦ ﴿ لَهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحۡتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ
 ﴾ 6 ﴿ To HIM belongs (Lahu) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and whatever (Wamaa) is on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahumaa) and whatever (Wamaa) is beneath (Tah'ta) the soil (Etthara).
 ﴾ ٧ ﴿ وَإِن تَجۡهَرۡ بِٱلۡقَوۡلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ یَعۡلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخۡفَى
 ﴾ 7 ﴿ And (Wa) if (In) you declare (Taj'har Bi) the word (El'Qaw'li), then (Fa) indeed, HE (Innahu) knows (Ya'lamu) the secret (Es'Sirra) and (Wa) the hidden (Akh'fa).
 ﴾ ٨ ﴿ ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَاۤءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
 ﴾ 8 ﴿ GOD (Ellahu); there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa), to HIM belongs (Lahu) the best (El'Hus'naa) names (El'As'maa'u). (59:23-24)
 ﴾ ٩ ﴿ وَهَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِیثُ مُوسَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 9 ﴿ And (Wa) has (Hal') the discourse (Hadiithu) of Moses (Muusa) reached you (s) (Ataa-ka)? (79:15)
 ﴾ ١٠ ﴿ إِذۡ رَءَا نَارࣰا فَقَالَ لِأَهۡلِهِ ٱمۡكُثُوۤا۟ إِنِّیۤ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارࣰا لَّعَلِّیۤ ءَاتِیكُم مِّنۡهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوۡ أَجِدُ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ هُدࣰى
 ﴾ 10 ﴿ When (Iz') he saw (Ra'aa) a fire (Naaran), and (Fa) he said to (Qaala Li) his family (Ah'li-hi). "Stay here (Em'kuthuu), I (Innii) have perceived (Aanas'tu) a fire (Naaran); perhaps I (Laällii) will bring you (Aatii-kum Bi) a firebrand (Qabasin) thereof (Min'ha) or (Aw') find (Ajidu) guidance (Hudaa) at (Älaa) the fire (En'Naari)."
 ﴾ ١١ ﴿ فَلَمَّاۤ أَتَىٰهَا نُودِیَ یَـٰمُوسَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 11 ﴿ So (Fa) when (Lammaa) he came to it (Ataa-ha), he was called (Nuudiya), "O (Yaa) Moses (Muusa),
 ﴾ ١٢ ﴿ إِنِّیۤ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكَ فَٱخۡلَعۡ نَعۡلَیۡكَ إِنَّكَ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوࣰى
 ﴾ 12 ﴿ indeed (Innii) I am (Ana') your LORD (Rabbu-ka); so (Fa) take off (Ekh'la') your sandals (Na'lai'ka). Indeed, you (Innaka) are in (Bi) the Holy (El'Muqaddasi) Valley (El'Waadi) of Tuwa (Tuwaa).
 ﴾ ١٣ ﴿ وَأَنَا ٱخۡتَرۡتُكَ فَٱسۡتَمِعۡ لِمَا یُوحَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 13 ﴿ "And (Wa) I (Anaa) have chosen you (Moses) (Ekh'tar'tu-ka), so (Fa) listen (Es'tami' ) to what (Limaa) is being inspired (Yuuha).
 ﴾ ١٤ ﴿ إِنَّنِیۤ أَنَا ٱللَّهُ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّاۤ أَنَا۠ فَٱعۡبُدۡنِی وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِذِكۡرِیۤ
 ﴾ 14 ﴿ "Indeed, I (Innanii) am the GOD (Anaallahu); there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) ME (Ana'). So (Fa) worship ME (E'bud'nii) and (Wa) establish (Aqimi) the Litany (Es'Solaata) for (Li) MY remembrance (Zik'rii).
 ﴾ ١٥ ﴿ إِنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِیَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخۡفِیهَا لِتُجۡزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفۡسِۭ بِمَا تَسۡعَىٰ
 ﴾ 15 ﴿ "Indeed (Inna), the Hour (Es'Saa'äta) is coming (Aatiyatun); I almost (Akaadu) conceal it (Ukh'fii-ha) in order to (Li) recompense (Tuj'zaa) every (Kullu) soul (Naf'si) for what (Bimaa) it strives (Tas'ää).
 ﴾ ١٦ ﴿ فَلَا یَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنۡهَا مَن لَّا یُؤۡمِنُ بِهَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ فَتَرۡدَىٰ
 ﴾ 16 ﴿ "So (Fa) do not let (Laa) one who (Man) does not (Laa) believe (Yu'minu) in it (Bihaa) and (Wa) follows (Ettabaä) his inclination (Hawaa-hu) divert you (Moses) (Yasuddannaka) from it (Än'haa), then (Fa) you would perish (Tar'daa).
 ﴾ ١٧ ﴿ وَمَا تِلۡكَ بِیَمِینِكَ یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 17 ﴿ "And (Wa) what (Maa) is that (Til'ka) in (Bi) your right hand (Yamiini-ka), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa)?"
 ﴾ ١٨ ﴿ قَالَ هِیَ عَصَایَ أَتَوَكَّؤُا۟ عَلَیۡهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِی وَلِیَ فِیهَا مَـَٔارِبُ أُخۡرَىٰ
 ﴾ 18 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "It (Hiya) is my staff (Äsoaya). I recline (Atawakkau') on it (Älai'haa), and (Wa) I agitate (Ahusshu) over (Älaa) my sheep (Ganamii) with it (Bihaa), and (Wa) I have (Lii) other (Ukh'raa) purposes (Ma'aaribu) for it (Fiiha)."
 ﴾ ١٩ ﴿ قَالَ أَلۡقِهَا یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 19 ﴿ HE (God) said (Qaala), "Throw it (Al'qi-haa), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa)."
 ﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ فَأَلۡقَىٰهَا فَإِذَا هِیَ حَیَّةࣱ تَسۡعَىٰ
 ﴾ 20 ﴿ So (Fa) he threw it (Al'qaa-ha), and (Fa) then (Izaa) it (Hiya) became a snake (Hayyatun), moving (Tas'ää).
 ﴾ ٢١ ﴿ قَالَ خُذۡهَا وَلَا تَخَفۡۖ سَنُعِیدُهَا سِیرَتَهَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
 ﴾ 21 ﴿ HE (God) said (Qaala), "Seize it (Khuz'haa) and do not (Walaa) fear (Takhaf'); We will return it (Sa Nueedu-haa) to its (-haa) previous (El'Uula) motion (Siirata-).
 ﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ وَٱضۡمُمۡ یَدَكَ إِلَىٰ جَنَاحِكَ تَخۡرُجۡ بَیۡضَاۤءَ مِنۡ غَیۡرِ سُوۤءٍ ءَایَةً أُخۡرَىٰ
 ﴾ 22 ﴿ "And (Wa) enfold (Ed'mum') your hand (Yada-ka) into (ilaa) your flank (Janaahi-ka); it will come out (Takh'ruj') white (26:33) (Bai'doa'a) without (Min' Gai'ri) evil (Suu'in); as another (Ukh'raa) sign (Aayatan)
 ﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ لِنُرِیَكَ مِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَا ٱلۡكُبۡرَى
 ﴾ 23 ﴿ that (Li) We may show you (Moses) (Nuriya-ka) some of (Min') Our (-naa) major (El'Kub'ra) signs (Aayaati-).
 ﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ
 ﴾ 24 ﴿ "Go (Ez'hab) to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na). Indeed, he (Innahu) has transgressed (Togaa)."
 ﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱشۡرَحۡ لِی صَدۡرِی
 ﴾ 25 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), expound (Esh'rah') my bosom (Sod'rii) for me (Lii)
 ﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ وَیَسِّرۡ لِیۤ أَمۡرِی
 ﴾ 26 ﴿ and (Wa) make my affair (Am'rii) easy (-Yassir') for me (Lii).
 ﴾ ٢٧ ﴿ وَٱحۡلُلۡ عُقۡدَةࣰ مِّن لِّسَانِی
 ﴾ 27 ﴿ "And (Wa) untie (Eh'lul') the knot (mutter) (Uq'datan) from (Min) my tongue (Lisaanii)
 ﴾ ٢٨ ﴿ یَفۡقَهُوا۟ قَوۡلِی
 ﴾ 28 ﴿ that they may comprehend (Yaf'qahu') my speech (Qaw'lii),
 ﴾ ٢٩ ﴿ وَٱجۡعَل لِّی وَزِیرࣰا مِّنۡ أَهۡلِی
 ﴾ 29 ﴿ and (Wa) appoint (Ej'äl) for me (Lii) a minister (25:35) (Waziiran) from (Min') my family (Ah'lii),
 ﴾ ٣٠ ﴿ هَـٰرُونَ أَخِی
 ﴾ 30 ﴿ my brother (Akhii) Aaron (Haaruuna);
 ﴾ ٣١ ﴿ ٱشۡدُدۡ بِهِۦۤ أَزۡرِی
 ﴾ 31 ﴿ strengthen (Esh'dud') with him (Bihi) as my help (back up) (Az'rii),
 ﴾ ٣٢ ﴿ وَأَشۡرِكۡهُ فِیۤ أَمۡرِی
 ﴾ 32 ﴿ and (Wa) associate him (Ash'rik'hu) in (Fii) my affair (Am'rii)
 ﴾ ٣٣ ﴿ كَیۡ نُسَبِّحَكَ كَثِیرࣰا
 ﴾ 33 ﴿ so that (Kai') we may glorify YOU (Nusabbiha-ka) frequently (Kathiiraa),
 ﴾ ٣٤ ﴿ وَنَذۡكُرَكَ كَثِیرًا
 ﴾ 34 ﴿ and (Wa) commemorate YOU (Naz'kura-ka) frequently (Kathiiraa).
 ﴾ ٣٥ ﴿ إِنَّكَ كُنتَ بِنَا بَصِیرࣰا
 ﴾ 35 ﴿ "Indeed, YOU (Innaka) are (Kunta) cognizant of us (Basiiraa Bi-naa)."
 ﴾ ٣٦ ﴿ قَالَ قَدۡ أُوتِیتَ سُؤۡلَكَ یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 36 ﴿ HE (God) said (Qaala), "Your request (Su'laka) has been (Qad') granted (Uutiita), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa).
 ﴾ ٣٧ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ مَنَنَّا عَلَیۡكَ مَرَّةً أُخۡرَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 37 ﴿ "For (Wa) We had certainly (Laqad') favoured you (Moses) (Manannaa Älai'ka) some other (Ukh'raa) time (Marratan),
 ﴾ ٣٨ ﴿ إِذۡ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ أُمِّكَ مَا یُوحَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 38 ﴿ when (Iz') We inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to (ilaa) your mother (Ummi-ka) what (Maa) We inspired (Yuuha),
 ﴾ ٣٩ ﴿ أَنِ ٱقۡذِفِیهِ فِی ٱلتَّابُوتِ فَٱقۡذِفِیهِ فِی ٱلۡیَمِّ فَلۡیُلۡقِهِ ٱلۡیَمُّ بِٱلسَّاحِلِ یَأۡخُذۡهُ عَدُوࣱّ لِّی وَعَدُوࣱّ لَّهُۥۚ وَأَلۡقَیۡتُ عَلَیۡكَ مَحَبَّةࣰ مِّنِّی وَلِتُصۡنَعَ عَلَىٰ عَیۡنِیۤ
 ﴾ 39 ﴿ that (Ani), "Cast him (Eq'zifii-hi) into (Fii) a box (Ettaabuuti), and (Fa) cast him (Eq'zifii-hi) into (Fii) the sea (El'Yammi), and let (Fal') the sea (El'Yammu) throw him (Yul'qi-hi) to (Bi) the coast (Es'Saahili); he will be taken by (Ya'khuz'hu) an enemy (Äduwwun) to ME (Lii) and (Wa) an enemy (Äduwwun) to him (Lahu)." And (Wa) I bore down (Al'qai'tu) on you (Moses) (Älai'ka) affection (love) (Mahabbatan) from ME (Minnii) so (Wa) that (Li) you would be brought (Tus'naä) before (Älaa) MY eye (Äi'nii).
 ﴾ ٤٠ ﴿ إِذۡ تَمۡشِیۤ أُخۡتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَن یَكۡفُلُهُۥۖ فَرَجَعۡنَـٰكَ إِلَىٰۤ أُمِّكَ كَیۡ تَقَرَّ عَیۡنُهَا وَلَا تَحۡزَنَۚ وَقَتَلۡتَ نَفۡسࣰا فَنَجَّیۡنَـٰكَ مِنَ ٱلۡغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّـٰكَ فُتُونࣰاۚ فَلَبِثۡتَ سِنِینَ فِیۤ أَهۡلِ مَدۡیَنَ ثُمَّ جِئۡتَ عَلَىٰ قَدَرࣲ یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 40 ﴿ "When (Iz') your sister (Ukh'tu-ka) walked (Tam'shii) and (Fa) said (Taquulu), "Shall (Hal) I show you (Adullu-kum Älaa) who (Man) can support him (take care of) (Yak'fulu-hu)?" So (Fa) We returned you (Moses) (Raja'naa-ka) to (ilaa) your mother (Ummi-ka) in order to (Kai') entertain her eyes (Taqarra Äi'nu-haa) and not (Walaa) to grieve (Tah'zan). And (Wa) you killed (Qatal'ta) someone (Naf'san), then (Fa) We rescued you (Najjai'naa-ka) from (Mina) the distress (El'Gammi) and (Wa) tested you (Fatannaa-ka) with a trial (Futuuna). And (Fa) you lingered (Labith'ta) among (Fii) the people (Ah'li) of Midian (Mad'yana) for years (Siniina), then (Thumma) you came (Ji'ta) by (Älaa) destiny (Qadarin), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusa).
 ﴾ ٤١ ﴿ وَٱصۡطَنَعۡتُكَ لِنَفۡسِی
 ﴾ 41 ﴿ "And (Wa) I (God) produced you (Es'tona'tu-ka) for (Li) Myself (Naf'sii).
 ﴾ ٤٢ ﴿ ٱذۡهَبۡ أَنتَ وَأَخُوكَ بِـَٔایَـٰتِی وَلَا تَنِیَا فِی ذِكۡرِی
 ﴾ 42 ﴿ "You (Moses) (Anta) and (Wa) your brother (Akhuu-ka) should go (Ez'hab') with (Bi) MY signs (Aayaatii) and do not (Walaa) be weak (Taniyaa) in (Fii) MY remembrance (Zik'rii).
 ﴾ ٤٣ ﴿ ٱذۡهَبَاۤ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ
 ﴾ 43 ﴿ "Go (Ez'habaa) to (ilaa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'na). Indeed, he (Innahu) has transgressed (Togaa).
 ﴾ ٤٤ ﴿ فَقُولَا لَهُۥ قَوۡلࣰا لَّیِّنࣰا لَّعَلَّهُۥ یَتَذَكَّرُ أَوۡ یَخۡشَىٰ
 ﴾ 44 ﴿ "And (Fa) speak (Quulaa) to him (Lahu) a gentle (Layyinan) speech (Qaw'lan) perhaps he (Laällahu) will take heed (Yatazakkaru) or (Aw') fear (Yakh'shaa)."
 ﴾ ٤٥ ﴿ قَالَا رَبَّنَاۤ إِنَّنَا نَخَافُ أَن یَفۡرُطَ عَلَیۡنَاۤ أَوۡ أَن یَطۡغَىٰ
 ﴾ 45 ﴿ They (both) said (Qaalaa), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), indeed we (Innanaa) fear (Nakhaafu) that (An) he (Pharaoh) would overpower us (Yuf'ruta Älai'naa) or (Aw') that (An) he would transgress (Yat'gaa)."
 ﴾ ٤٦ ﴿ قَالَ لَا تَخَافَاۤۖ إِنَّنِی مَعَكُمَاۤ أَسۡمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ
 ﴾ 46 ﴿ HE (God) said (Qaala), "Do not (Laa) fear (Takhaafaa). Indeed, I am (Innanii) with you both (Maäkumaa); I hear (As'mau) and (Wa) see (Araa).
 ﴾ ٤٧ ﴿ فَأۡتِیَاهُ فَقُولَاۤ إِنَّا رَسُولَا رَبِّكَ فَأَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَا بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰ⁠ۤءِیلَ وَلَا تُعَذِّبۡهُمۡۖ قَدۡ جِئۡنَـٰكَ بِـَٔایَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّكَۖ وَٱلسَّلَـٰمُ عَلَىٰ مَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلۡهُدَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 47 ﴿ "So approach him (Fa'tiyaa-hu) and (Fa) say (Quulaa), "Indeed, we (Innaa) are messengers (Rasuulaa) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka), so (Fa) send (Ar'sil') the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iila) with us (Maänaa) and do not (Walaa) punish them (Tuäzzib'hum'). We have (Qad') brought you (Ji'naa-ka Bi) signs (miracles) (Aayatin) from (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-ka); and (Wa) peace (Es'Salaamu) be upon (Älaa) whoever (Mani) follows (Ettabaä) the Guidance (El'Hudaa).
 ﴾ ٤٨ ﴿ إِنَّا قَدۡ أُوحِیَ إِلَیۡنَاۤ أَنَّ ٱلۡعَذَابَ عَلَىٰ مَن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
 ﴾ 48 ﴿ "Indeed (Innaa), it has been (Qad') inspired to us (Uuhiya ilai'naa) that (Anna) the punishment (El'Äzaaba) will be upon (Älaa) whoever (Man) denies (Kazzaba) and (Wa) turns away (Tawallaa)."
 ﴾ ٤٩ ﴿ قَالَ فَمَن رَّبُّكُمَا یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 49 ﴿ He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "So (Fa) who (Man) is the LORD of you both (Rabbu-kumaa), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa)?"
 ﴾ ٥٠ ﴿ قَالَ رَبُّنَا ٱلَّذِیۤ أَعۡطَىٰ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ خَلۡقَهُۥ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ
 ﴾ 50 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Our LORD (Rabbu-naa) is the One who (Ellazii) has given (A'toa) everything (Kulla Shai'in) its creation (Khal'qa-hu) and then (Thumma) guides (Hadaa)."
 ﴾ ٥١ ﴿ قَالَ فَمَا بَالُ ٱلۡقُرُونِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
 ﴾ 51 ﴿ He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Then (Fa) what (Maa) is the situation (Baalu) of the previous (El'Uulaa) generations (El'Quruuni)?"
 ﴾ ٥٢ ﴿ قَالَ عِلۡمُهَا عِندَ رَبِّی فِی كِتَـٰبࣲۖ لَّا یَضِلُّ رَبِّی وَلَا یَنسَى
 ﴾ 52 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Its knowledge (il'mu-haa) is with (Enda) my LORD (Rabbii) in (Fii) a register (Kitaabin). My LORD (Rabbii) does not (Laa) err (Yadillu) nor (Walaa) forget (Yansa).
 ﴾ ٥٣ ﴿ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَهۡدࣰا وَسَلَكَ لَكُمۡ فِیهَا سُبُلࣰا وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَخۡرَجۡنَا بِهِۦۤ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣰا مِّن نَّبَاتࣲ شَتَّىٰ
 ﴾ 53 ﴿ "The One who (Ellazii) has made (Jaäla) the earth (El'Ar'do) a cradle (Mah'dan) for you (Lakumu) and (Wa) inserted (Salaka) roads (Subulan) for you (Lakum') therein (Fiihaa) and sent down (Anzala) water (Maa'an) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) to (Fa) produce (Akh'raj'naa) kinds (Az'waajan) of (Min) diverse (Shattaa) plants (Nabaatin) thereby (Bihi);
 ﴾ ٥٤ ﴿ كُلُوا۟ وَٱرۡعَوۡا۟ أَنۡعَـٰمَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّأُو۟لِی ٱلنُّهَىٰ
 ﴾ 54 ﴿ to eat (Kulu') and (Wa) pasture (Er'äw') your livestock (An'ääma-kum')." Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) those (U'lii) of intellect (En'Nuhaa).
 ﴾ ٥٥ ﴿ ۞ مِنۡهَا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَفِیهَا نُعِیدُكُمۡ وَمِنۡهَا نُخۡرِجُكُمۡ تَارَةً أُخۡرَىٰ
 ﴾ 55 ﴿ From it (the earth) (Min'haa) We created you (p) (Khalaq'naa-kum'), and (Wa) into it (Fiihi) We will return you (Ueedu-kum'), and (Wa) from it (Min'haa) We will bring you forth (Nukh'riju-kum') another (Ukh'raa) time (Taaratan).
 ﴾ ٥٦ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَرَیۡنَـٰهُ ءَایَـٰتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَىٰ
 ﴾ 56 ﴿ And (Wa) We had certainly (Laqad') showed him (Arai'naa-hu) Our signs (Aayaati-naa), all of them (Kullahaa), but (Fa) he (Pharaoh) denied (Kazzaba) and (Wa) refused (Abaa).
 ﴾ ٥٧ ﴿ قَالَ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتُخۡرِجَنَا مِنۡ أَرۡضِنَا بِسِحۡرِكَ یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 57 ﴿ He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Did you come to us (Aji'ta-naa) to (Li) evict us (Tukh'rija-naa) from (Min') our land (Ar'di-naa) with (Bi) your sorcery (Sih'ri-ka), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa)?
 ﴾ ٥٨ ﴿ فَلَنَأۡتِیَنَّكَ بِسِحۡرࣲ مِّثۡلِهِۦ فَٱجۡعَلۡ بَیۡنَنَا وَبَیۡنَكَ مَوۡعِدࣰا لَّا نُخۡلِفُهُۥ نَحۡنُ وَلَاۤ أَنتَ مَكَانࣰا سُوࣰى
 ﴾ 58 ﴿ "Then (Fa) we will (La) present you (Na'tiyannaka Bi) sorcery (Sih'rin) like it (Mith'li-hi), so (Fa) make (Ej'äl') an appointment (Maw'edan) at a settled (Suwaa) location (Makaanan) which (-hu) neither (Laa) we (Nah'nu) nor (Walaa) you (Anta) would break (violate) (Nukh'lifu-)."
 ﴾ ٥٩ ﴿ قَالَ مَوۡعِدُكُمۡ یَوۡمُ ٱلزِّینَةِ وَأَن یُحۡشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحࣰى
 ﴾ 59 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Your appointment (Maw'edu-kum') is on the Day (Yaw'mu) of Adornment (Ez'Ziinati), so (Wa) let (An) the people (En'Naasu) gather (Yuh'shara) at forenoon (Duhaa)."
 ﴾ ٦٠ ﴿ فَتَوَلَّىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فَجَمَعَ كَیۡدَهُۥ ثُمَّ أَتَىٰ
 ﴾ 60 ﴿ So (Fa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu) turned away (Tawallaa) and (Fa) gathered (Jamaä) his stratagem (Kai'da-hu) and then (Thumma) came (Ataa).
 ﴾ ٦١ ﴿ قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَیۡلَكُمۡ لَا تَفۡتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبࣰا فَیُسۡحِتَكُم بِعَذَابࣲۖ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ
 ﴾ 61 ﴿ Moses (Muusaa) said (Qaala) to them (Lahum), "Woe to you (Wai'lakum')! Do not (Laa) fabricate (Taf'taru') falsehood (Kaziban) against GOD (Älaallahi), then (Fa) HE will rub you off (Yus'hita-kum) with (Bi) punishment (Äzaabin); for (Wa) whoever (Mani) fabricates (Ef'taraa) will indeed (Qad') fail (Khaaba)."
 ﴾ ٦٢ ﴿ فَتَنَـٰزَعُوۤا۟ أَمۡرَهُم بَیۡنَهُمۡ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجۡوَىٰ
 ﴾ 62 ﴿ So (Fa) they disputed with (Tanaaza'uu') their affair (Am'ra-hum) between them (Bai'nahum') and (Wa) confided (Asarru') a secret conversation (conspiracy) (En'Naj'waa).
 ﴾ ٦٣ ﴿ قَالُوۤا۟ إِنۡ هَـٰذَ ٰ⁠نِ لَسَـٰحِرَ ٰ⁠نِ یُرِیدَانِ أَن یُخۡرِجَاكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُم بِسِحۡرِهِمَا وَیَذۡهَبَا بِطَرِیقَتِكُمُ ٱلۡمُثۡلَىٰ
 ﴾ 63 ﴿ They said (Qaaluu'), "Indeed (In'), these (Haazaani) are (La) two sorcerers (Saahiraani) who intend (Yuriidaani) to (An) evict you (p) (Yukh'rijaa-kum) from (Min') your land (Ar'di-kum) with (Bi) their sorcery (Sih'ri-himaa) and (Wa) to take away (Yaz'habaa Bi) your (-kumu) ideal (El'Muth'la) way (Tariiqati-).
 ﴾ ٦٤ ﴿ فَأَجۡمِعُوا۟ كَیۡدَكُمۡ ثُمَّ ٱئۡتُوا۟ صَفࣰّاۚ وَقَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ مَنِ ٱسۡتَعۡلَىٰ
 ﴾ 64 ﴿ "So (Fa) gather (Aj'miu') your stratagem (Kai'da-kum') and then (Thumma) come (E'tu') in a row (Soffaan); and (Wa) whoever (Mani) exploits (Es'ta'laa) today (El'Yaw'ma) has indeed (Qad') succeeded (Af'laha)."
 ﴾ ٦٥ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ یَـٰمُوسَىٰۤ إِمَّاۤ أَن تُلۡقِیَ وَإِمَّاۤ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنۡ أَلۡقَىٰ
 ﴾ 65 ﴿ They said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa), either (Immaa An) you throw (Tul'qiya), or (Wa Immaa An) we will be (Nakuuna) the first (Awwala) who (Man') throw (Al'qaa)."
 ﴾ ٦٦ ﴿ قَالَ بَلۡ أَلۡقُوا۟ۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمۡ وَعِصِیُّهُمۡ یُخَیَّلُ إِلَیۡهِ مِن سِحۡرِهِمۡ أَنَّهَا تَسۡعَىٰ
 ﴾ 66 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Rather (Bal'), you throw (Al'qu')," and (Fa) then (Izaa) their ropes (Hibaalu-hum') and (Wa) their staffs (Esiyyu-hum') appeared to him (Yukhayyalu ilai'hi) that they (Annaha) were moving (Tas'ää) from (Min) their sorcery (Sih'ri-him').
 ﴾ ٦٧ ﴿ فَأَوۡجَسَ فِی نَفۡسِهِۦ خِیفَةࣰ مُّوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 67 ﴿ So (Fa) Moses (Muusa) sensed (Aw'jasa) fear (Khiifatan) within (Fii) himself (Naf'si-hi).
 ﴾ ٦٨ ﴿ قُلۡنَا لَا تَخَفۡ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
 ﴾ 68 ﴿ We said (Qul'naa), "Do not (Laa) fear (Takhaf'); indeed (Innaka), you (Moses) (Anta) are superior (El'A'laa).
 ﴾ ٦٩ ﴿ وَأَلۡقِ مَا فِی یَمِینِكَ تَلۡقَفۡ مَا صَنَعُوۤا۟ۖ إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا۟ كَیۡدُ سَـٰحِرࣲۖ وَلَا یُفۡلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَیۡثُ أَتَىٰ
 ﴾ 69 ﴿ "And (Wa) throw (Al'qi) what (Maa) is in (Fii) your right hand (Yamiini-ka); it will seize (Tal'qaf') what (Maa) they have crafted (Sonauu'). They have only (Innamaa) crafted (Sonau') the stratagem (Kai'du) of a sorcerer (Saahirin), but (Wa) the sorcerer (Es'Saahiru) will not (Laa) succeed (Yuf'lihu) wherever (Hai'thu) he occurs (Ataa)."
 ﴾ ٧٠ ﴿ فَأُلۡقِیَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدࣰا قَالُوۤا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَـٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 70 ﴿ So (Fa) the sorcerers (Es'Saharatu) dropped down (Ul'qiya) in prostration (Sujaddan), saying (Qaaluu'), "We have believed (Aamannaa) in (Bi) the LORD (Rabbi) of Aaron (Haaruuna) and Moses (Muusaa)."
 ﴾ ٧١ ﴿ قَالَ ءَامَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ قَبۡلَ أَنۡ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِیرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِی عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحۡرَۖ فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَیۡدِیَكُمۡ وَأَرۡجُلَكُم مِّنۡ خِلَـٰفࣲ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ فِی جُذُوعِ ٱلنَّخۡلِ وَلَتَعۡلَمُنَّ أَیُّنَاۤ أَشَدُّ عَذَابࣰا وَأَبۡقَىٰ
 ﴾ 71 ﴿ He (Pharaoh) said (Qaala), "Did you believe HIM (Aamantum' Lahu) before (Qab'la An’) I permit you (Aazana La-kum')? Indeed, he (Moses) (Innahu) is (La) your senior (Kabiiru-kumu) who (Ellazii) has taught you (Ällama-kumu) sorcery (Es'Sih'ra). So (Fa) I will (La) amputate (Uqattiänna) your hands (Ai'diya-kum') and (Wa) your legs (Ar'jula-kum) from (Min') opposite sides (Khilaafin), and I will (La) crucify you (Usallibannakum') on (Fii) the trunks (Juzuue) of date palms (En'Nakh'li), and (Wa) you will (La) know (Ta'lamunna) which of us (Ayyunaa) is severer (Ashaddu) in punishment (Äzaaban) and more lasting (26:49) (Ab'qaa)."
 ﴾ ٧٢ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤۡثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَاۤءَنَا مِنَ ٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ وَٱلَّذِی فَطَرَنَاۖ فَٱقۡضِ مَاۤ أَنتَ قَاضٍۖ إِنَّمَا تَقۡضِی هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۤ
 ﴾ 72 ﴿ They (the sorcerers) said (Qaalu'), "We will never (Lan) prefer you (Pharaoh) (Nu'thira-ka) over (Älaa) what (Maa) has come to us (Jaa'a-naa) of (Mina) proofs (El'Bayyinaati) and (Wa) the One who (Ellazii) created us (Fatora-naa). So (Fa) decree (Eq'di) whatever (Maa) you (Anta) decide (Qaadin). You can only (Innamaa) decree (Taq'dii) in this (Haazihi) worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaata).
 ﴾ ٧٣ ﴿ إِنَّاۤ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِیَغۡفِرَ لَنَا خَطَـٰیَـٰنَا وَمَاۤ أَكۡرَهۡتَنَا عَلَیۡهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحۡرِۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَیۡرࣱ وَأَبۡقَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 73 ﴿ "Indeed (Innaa), We have believed (Aamannaa) in (Bi) our LORD (Rabbi-naa) that (Li) HE may forgive us (Yag'fira Lanaa) for our mistakes (Khatoaya-naa) and (Wa) for (Älai'hi) what (Maa) you (Pharaoh) compelled us (Ak'rah'ta-naa) of (Mina) sorcery (Es'Sih'ri). And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is better (Khai'run) and (Wa) more lasting (Ab'qaa)."
 ﴾ ٧٤ ﴿ إِنَّهُۥ مَن یَأۡتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجۡرِمࣰا فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ لَا یَمُوتُ فِیهَا وَلَا یَحۡیَىٰ
 ﴾ 74 ﴿ Indeed, he (Innahu) who (Man) comes (Ya'ti) to his LORD (Rabba-hu) as a criminal (Muj'riman), then (Fa) indeed (Inna), for him (Lahu) is Hell (Jahannama); wherein (Fiihaa) he neither (Laa) dies (Yamuutu) nor (Walaa) lives (Yah'ya).
 ﴾ ٧٥ ﴿ وَمَن یَأۡتِهِۦ مُؤۡمِنࣰا قَدۡ عَمِلَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمُ ٱلدَّرَجَـٰتُ ٱلۡعُلَىٰ
 ﴾ 75 ﴿ But (Wa) whoever (Man) comes to HIM (Ya'ti-hi) as a believer (Mu'minan) having (Qad') done (Ämila) good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) will have (Lahumu) the highest (El'Ulaa) degrees (Ed'Darajaatu);
 ﴾ ٧٦ ﴿ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدۡنࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۚ وَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ جَزَاۤءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
 ﴾ 76 ﴿ gardens (Jannaatu) of Eden (Äd'nin), beneath which (Min Tah'ti-ha) rivers (El'An'haaru) flow (Taj'rii), eternally (Khaalidiina) therein (Fiiha). And (Wa) that (Zaalika) is the reward (Jazaau) of whoever (Man) purifies (Tazakkaa).
 ﴾ ٧٧ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰۤ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِی فَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ طَرِیقࣰا فِی ٱلۡبَحۡرِ یَبَسࣰا لَّا تَخَـٰفُ دَرَكࣰا وَلَا تَخۡشَىٰ
 ﴾ 77 ﴿ And (Wa) We had certainly (Laqad') inspired (Aw'hai'naa) to (ilaa) Moses (Muusaa) that (An'), "Travel with (As'ri Bi) MY servants (Ebaadii) and (Fa) strike (Ed'rib') a dry (Yabasan) path (Tariiqan) through (Fii) the sea (El'Bah'ri) for them (Lahum'); you shall not (Laa) fear (Takhaafu) being overtaken (Darakan) nor (Walaa) shall you be afraid (Takh'shaa)."
 ﴾ ٧٨ ﴿ فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِیَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡیَمِّ مَا غَشِیَهُمۡ
 ﴾ 78 ﴿ So (Fa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu) pursued them (At'baä-hum') with (Bi) his soldiers (Junuudi-hi), and (Fa) they (the enemies) were covered (Gashiya-hum) by what (Maa) covered them (Gashiya-hum') of (Mina) the sea (El'Yammi).
 ﴾ ٧٩ ﴿ وَأَضَلَّ فِرۡعَوۡنُ قَوۡمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ
 ﴾ 79 ﴿ And (Wa) Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu) misled (Adolla) his people (Qaw'ma-hu) and (Wa) could not (Maa) guide (Hadaa).
 ﴾ ٨٠ ﴿ یَـٰبَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰ⁠ۤءِیلَ قَدۡ أَنجَیۡنَـٰكُم مِّنۡ عَدُوِّكُمۡ وَوَ ٰ⁠عَدۡنَـٰكُمۡ جَانِبَ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلۡأَیۡمَنَ وَنَزَّلۡنَا عَلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلۡوَىٰ
 ﴾ 80 ﴿ “O (Yaa) Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iila), We had certainly (Qad') rescued you (Anjai'naa-kum) from (Min') your enemy (Äduwwi-kum'), and (Wa) We made an appointment with you (Waaed'naa-kum') at the right (El'Ai'mana) side (Jaaniba) of the Mount (Sinai) (Ettuuri), and (Wa) We sent down (Nazzal'naa) to you (Älai'kumu) manna (El'Manna) and quails (Es'Sal'waa),
 ﴾ ٨١ ﴿ كُلُوا۟ مِن طَیِّبَـٰتِ مَا رَزَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَلَا تَطۡغَوۡا۟ فِیهِ فَیَحِلَّ عَلَیۡكُمۡ غَضَبِیۖ وَمَن یَحۡلِلۡ عَلَیۡهِ غَضَبِی فَقَدۡ هَوَىٰ
 ﴾ 81 ﴿ "Eat (Kulu') from (Min) the good things (Toyyibaati) which (Maa) We have provided for you (Razaq'naa-kum') but (Wa) do not (Laa) transgress (Tot'gaw') therein (Fiihi), then (Fa) MY wrath (Gadobii) will arrive (Yahilla) upon you (Älai'kum'). And (Wa) whomever (Man) MY wrath (Gadabii) arrives (Yah'lil') upon him (Älai'hi), then (Fa) he has indeed (Qad') fallen (Hawaa).
 ﴾ ٨٢ ﴿ وَإِنِّی لَغَفَّارࣱ لِّمَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا ثُمَّ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ
 ﴾ 82 ﴿ "And (Wa) indeed, I am (Innii) the (La) Forgiver (Gaffaarun) for whoever (Liman) repents (Taaba) and (Wa) believes (Aamana) and (Wa) acts (Ämila) righteous (Soalihan) and then (Thumma) remains guided (Eh'tadaa).”
 ﴾ ٨٣ ﴿ ۞ وَمَاۤ أَعۡجَلَكَ عَن قَوۡمِكَ یَـٰمُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 83 ﴿ “And (Wa) what (Maa) made you (Moses) hasten (A'jala-ka) away from (Än) your people (Qaw'mi-ka), O (Yaa) Moses (Muusaa)?"
 ﴾ ٨٤ ﴿ قَالَ هُمۡ أُو۟لَاۤءِ عَلَىٰۤ أَثَرِی وَعَجِلۡتُ إِلَیۡكَ رَبِّ لِتَرۡضَىٰ
 ﴾ 84 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Those are (Hum' U'laai) upon (Älaa) my footprint (step) (Atharii), so (Wa) I hastened (Äjil'tu) to YOU (ilai'ka); LORD (Rabbi), that (Li) YOU may be pleased (Tar'doa)."
 ﴾ ٨٥ ﴿ قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَوۡمَكَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ ٱلسَّامِرِیُّ
 ﴾ 85 ﴿ HE (God) said (Qaala), "For (Fa) indeed (Innaa), We have trialled (Fatannaa) your people (Qaw'ma-ka) after you (Min Ba'di-ka), but (Wa) the Samaritan (Es'Saamiriyyu) has misguided them (Adolla-humu)."
 ﴾ ٨٦ ﴿ فَرَجَعَ مُوسَىٰۤ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ غَضۡبَـٰنَ أَسِفࣰاۚ قَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ أَلَمۡ یَعِدۡكُمۡ رَبُّكُمۡ وَعۡدًا حَسَنًاۚ أَفَطَالَ عَلَیۡكُمُ ٱلۡعَهۡدُ أَمۡ أَرَدتُّمۡ أَن یَحِلَّ عَلَیۡكُمۡ غَضَبࣱ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ فَأَخۡلَفۡتُم مَّوۡعِدِی
 ﴾ 86 ﴿ So (Fa) Moses (Muusaa) returned (Rajaä) to (ilaa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), infuriated (Gad'baana) and sorrowful (Asifaan). He said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), did (A-) your LORD (Rabbu-kum') not (-lam') promise you (Yaed'kum') a good (Hasanan) promise (Wa'dan)? Was (A-) the agreement (El'Äh'du) then (-fa) too long for you (Toala Älai'kumu), or (Am') do you want (Aradttum') the wrath (Gadobun) of (Min) your LORD (Rabbi-kum') to (An) arrive (Yahilla) upon you (Älai'kum'), and (Fa) you broke (Akh'laf'tum) my appointment (Maw'edii)?"
 ﴾ ٨٧ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ مَاۤ أَخۡلَفۡنَا مَوۡعِدَكَ بِمَلۡكِنَا وَلَـٰكِنَّا حُمِّلۡنَاۤ أَوۡزَارࣰا مِّن زِینَةِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ فَقَذَفۡنَـٰهَا فَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّامِرِیُّ
 ﴾ 87 ﴿ They said (Qaalu'), "We did not (Maa) break (violate) (Akh'laf'naa) your appointment (Maw'eda-ka) by (Bi) our control (Mal'ki-naa), but (Walaakinnaa) we carried (Hummil'naa) burdens (Aw'zaaran) from (Min) the people's (El'Qaw'mi) adornment (Ziinati), so (Fa) we threw them (Qaz'fa'naa-haa), and (Fa) thus (Kazaalika) did the Samaritan (Es'Saamiriyyu) cast (Al'qaa)."
 ﴾ ٨٨ ﴿ فَأَخۡرَجَ لَهُمۡ عِجۡلࣰا جَسَدࣰا لَّهُۥ خُوَارࣱ فَقَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَاۤ إِلَـٰهُكُمۡ وَإِلَـٰهُ مُوسَىٰ فَنَسِیَ
 ﴾ 88 ﴿ So (Fa) he (the Samaritan) produced (Akh'raja) for them (Lahum') the embodiment (Jasadan) of a calf (Ej'lan) which had (Lahu) a moo sound (Khuwaarun), then (Fa) they said (Qaalu'), "This (Haaza) is your god (ilaahu-kum') and (Wa) the god (ilaahu) of Moses (Muusaa)," but (Fa) he forgot (Nasiyaa).
 ﴾ ٨٩ ﴿ أَفَلَا یَرَوۡنَ أَلَّا یَرۡجِعُ إِلَیۡهِمۡ قَوۡلࣰا وَلَا یَمۡلِكُ لَهُمۡ ضَرࣰّا وَلَا نَفۡعࣰا
 ﴾ 89 ﴿ Did they not (Afalaa) see (Yaraw'na) that it could not (Allaa) return (Yar'jiu) a word (Qaw'lan) to them (ilai'him') nor (Walaa) possesses (Yam'liku) adversity (Dorraan) for them (Lahum') nor (Walaa) benefit (Naf'ää)?
 ﴾ ٩٠ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ هَـٰرُونُ مِن قَبۡلُ یَـٰقَوۡمِ إِنَّمَا فُتِنتُم بِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ فَٱتَّبِعُونِی وَأَطِیعُوۤا۟ أَمۡرِی
 ﴾ 90 ﴿ Although (Wa) Aaron (Haaruunu) had already (Laqad') told them (Qaala Lahum') earlier (Min Qab'lu), "O (Yaa) my people (Qaw'mi), you are only (Innamaa) being tested (Futintum) with it (Bihi), for (Wa) indeed (Inna), your LORD (Rabba-kumu) is the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu), so (Fa) follow me (Ettabiuu-nii) and (Wa) obey (Atiiuu) my command (Am'rii)."
 ﴾ ٩١ ﴿ قَالُوا۟ لَن نَّبۡرَحَ عَلَیۡهِ عَـٰكِفِینَ حَتَّىٰ یَرۡجِعَ إِلَیۡنَا مُوسَىٰ
 ﴾ 91 ﴿ They said (Qaalu'), "We will never (Lan) quit (Nab'raha) being devoted (Ääkifiina) to it (the calf) (Älai'hi) until (Hattaa) Moses (Muusa) returns (Yar'jiä) to us (ilai'naa)."
 ﴾ ٩٢ ﴿ قَالَ یَـٰهَـٰرُونُ مَا مَنَعَكَ إِذۡ رَأَیۡتَهُمۡ ضَلُّوۤا۟
 ﴾ 92 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Aaron (Haaruunu), what (Maa) prevented you (Manaä-ka), when (Iz') you saw them (Ra'ai'ta-hum') misguided (Dolluu')
 ﴾ ٩٣ ﴿ أَلَّا تَتَّبِعَنِۖ أَفَعَصَیۡتَ أَمۡرِی
 ﴾ 93 ﴿ to not (Allaa) follow me (Tattabiäni)? Have you then (Afa-) disobeyed (-äsoi'ta) my command (Am'rii)?"
 ﴾ ٩٤ ﴿ قَالَ یَبۡنَؤُمَّ لَا تَأۡخُذۡ بِلِحۡیَتِی وَلَا بِرَأۡسِیۤۖ إِنِّی خَشِیتُ أَن تَقُولَ فَرَّقۡتَ بَیۡنَ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰ⁠ۤءِیلَ وَلَمۡ تَرۡقُبۡ قَوۡلِی
 ﴾ 94 ﴿ He (Aaron) said (Qaala), "O son of my mother (Yaab'naumma); do not (Laa) seize me (Ta'khuz') by (Bi) my beard (Lih'yatii) nor (Walaa) by (Bi) my head (Ra'sii). Indeed, I (Innii) feared (Khashiitu) that (An) you (Moses) would say (Taquula), 'You (Aaron) have caused division (Farraq'ta) among (Bai'na) the Children of Israel (Banii Is'raa'iila) and (Wa) have not (Lam') observed (Tar'qub') my word (Qaw'lii).' "
 ﴾ ٩٥ ﴿ قَالَ فَمَا خَطۡبُكَ یَـٰسَـٰمِرِیُّ
 ﴾ 95 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "And (Fa) what (Maa) was your affair (Khat'bu-ka), O (Yaa) Samaritan (Saamiriyyu)?"
 ﴾ ٩٦ ﴿ قَالَ بَصُرۡتُ بِمَا لَمۡ یَبۡصُرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَقَبَضۡتُ قَبۡضَةࣰ مِّنۡ أَثَرِ ٱلرَّسُولِ فَنَبَذۡتُهَا وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ سَوَّلَتۡ لِی نَفۡسِی
 ﴾ 96 ﴿ He (the Samaritan) said (Qaala), "I saw (Basur'tu) what (Bimaa) they could not (Lam') see (Yab'suru' Bihi), so (Fa) I grabbed (Qabad'tu) a fistful (Qab'datan) from (Min') the footprint (Athari) of the Messenger (Er'Rasuuli) and (Fa) discarded it (Nabaz'tu-haa), and (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) did my soul (Naf'sii) entice me (Sawwalat' Lii)."
 ﴾ ٩٧ ﴿ قَالَ فَٱذۡهَبۡ فَإِنَّ لَكَ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ أَن تَقُولَ لَا مِسَاسَۖ وَإِنَّ لَكَ مَوۡعِدࣰا لَّن تُخۡلَفَهُۥۖ وَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰۤ إِلَـٰهِكَ ٱلَّذِی ظَلۡتَ عَلَیۡهِ عَاكِفࣰاۖ لَّنُحَرِّقَنَّهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَنسِفَنَّهُۥ فِی ٱلۡیَمِّ نَسۡفًا
 ﴾ 97 ﴿ He (Moses) said (Qaala), "Then (Fa) go (Ez'hab'), for (Fa) indeed (Inna), you will have (Laka) throughout (Fii) this life (El'Hayaati) to (An) be told (Taquula), 'No (Laa) touching (Misaasa).' And (Wa) indeed (Inna), you have (Laka) an appointment (Maw'edan) which (-hu) will never (Lan) be broken (Tukh'lafa-). Look (Enzur') at (ilaa) your god (ilaahi-ka) to (Älai'hi) which (Ellazii) you have remained (Zol'ta) devoted (Ääkifan). We will (La) burn it (Nuharriqannahu), and then (Thumma) we will (La) blow it up (Nansifannahu) into (Fii) the sea (El'Yammi) by explosion (Nas'faa).
 ﴾ ٩٨ ﴿ إِنَّمَاۤ إِلَـٰهُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۚ وَسِعَ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ عِلۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 98 ﴿ "Your (-kumu) only (Innamaa) god (ilaahu-) is the GOD (Ellahu); whom (Ellazii) there is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa). And (Wa) HE has encompassed (Wasiä) all (Kulla) things (Shai'in) in knowledge (il'maa)."
 ﴾ ٩٩ ﴿ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نَقُصُّ عَلَیۡكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَاۤءِ مَا قَدۡ سَبَقَۚ وَقَدۡ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰكَ مِن لَّدُنَّا ذِكۡرࣰا
 ﴾ 99 ﴿ We thus (Kazaalika) narrate (-Naqussu) to you (s) (Älai'ka) from (Min') the news (Anbaai) of what (Maa) had (Qad') preceded (Sabaqa). And (Wa) We have (Qad’) given you (s) (Aatai'naa-ka) a remembrance (38:1) (Zik'raa) from Us (Min Ladunnaa).
 ﴾ ١٠٠ ﴿ مَّنۡ أَعۡرَضَ عَنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ یَحۡمِلُ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ وِزۡرًا
 ﴾ 100 ﴿ Whoever (Man') turns away from it (A'rada Än'hu), then (Fa) indeed, he (Innahu) will bear (Yah'milu) a burden (Wiz'raa) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati).
 ﴾ ١٠١ ﴿ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهِۖ وَسَاۤءَ لَهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ حِمۡلࣰا
 ﴾ 101 ﴿ They will be therein (Fiihi) eternally (Khaalidiina), and (Wa) evil (Saa'a) it is for them (Lahum') on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati) as a load (Him'laa);
 ﴾ ١٠٢ ﴿ یَوۡمَ یُنفَخُ فِی ٱلصُّورِۚ وَنَحۡشُرُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ زُرۡقࣰا
 ﴾ 102 ﴿ the day (Yaw'ma) the horn (Es'Suuri) will be blown (Yunfakhu Fii), and (Wa) We will assemble (Nah'shuru) the criminals (El'Muj'rimiina) on that day (Yaw'maizin), blue in colour (Zur'qaa).
 ﴾ ١٠٣ ﴿ یَتَخَـٰفَتُونَ بَیۡنَهُمۡ إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا عَشۡرࣰا
 ﴾ 103 ﴿ They will be talking privately (Yatakhaafatuuna) among themselves (Bai'nahum'), "You only (In illa) lingered (Labith'tum') for ten days (Äsh'raa)!"
 ﴾ ١٠٤ ﴿ نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَقُولُونَ إِذۡ یَقُولُ أَمۡثَلُهُمۡ طَرِیقَةً إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا یَوۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 104 ﴿ We (Nah'nu) are aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) they say (Yaquuluuna) when (Iz') the optimal of them (Am'thalu-hum') in way (Tariiqatan) will say (Yaquulu), "You only (In illa) lingered (Labith'tum') for a day (Yaw'maa)."
 ﴾ ١٠٥ ﴿ وَیَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلۡجِبَالِ فَقُلۡ یَنسِفُهَا رَبِّی نَسۡفࣰا
 ﴾ 105 ﴿ And (Wa) they ask you (s) (Yas'aluunaka) about (Äni) the mountains (El'Jibaali), then (Fa) say (Qul'): "My LORD (Rabbii) will blow them up (Yansifu-haa) by explosion (Nas'faa).
 ﴾ ١٠٦ ﴿ فَیَذَرُهَا قَاعࣰا صَفۡصَفࣰا
 ﴾ 106 ﴿ "And (Fa) HE will leave them (Yazaru-haa) as a barren (Sof'sofaa) lowland (Qaa'än);
 ﴾ ١٠٧ ﴿ لَّا تَرَىٰ فِیهَا عِوَجࣰا وَلَاۤ أَمۡتࣰا
 ﴾ 107 ﴿ neither (Laa) will you see (Taraa) a bend (Ewajan) nor (Walaa) a curve (Am'tan) therein (Fiihaa)."
 ﴾ ١٠٨ ﴿ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَتَّبِعُونَ ٱلدَّاعِیَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهُۥۖ وَخَشَعَتِ ٱلۡأَصۡوَاتُ لِلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ فَلَا تَسۡمَعُ إِلَّا هَمۡسࣰا
 ﴾ 108 ﴿ On that day (Yaw'maizin), they (p) will follow (Yattabiuuna) the Caller (54:6) (Ed'Daaeya) without (Laa) a bend (twist) (Ewaja) to him (Lahu), and (Wa) all voices (El'As'waatu) will humble (Khashaäti) before the GRACIOUS (Lir' Rah'maani), then (Fa) you will only (Laa illa) hear (Tas'mau) whispers (Ham'saa).
 ﴾ ١٠٩ ﴿ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لَّا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَـٰعَةُ إِلَّا مَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنُ وَرَضِیَ لَهُۥ قَوۡلࣰا
 ﴾ 109 ﴿ On that day (Yaw'maizin), intercession (2:123) (Es'Shafaa'ätu) will not (Laa) be useful (benefit) (Tanfau), except (illa) for (Lahu) whom (Man') the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) has permitted (Azina) and (Wa) approved (Radiya) a speech (Qaw'lan) for him (Lahu).
 ﴾ ١١٠ ﴿ یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ وَلَا یُحِیطُونَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 110 ﴿ HE (God) knows (Ya'lamu) what (Wa) is before them (Bai'na Ai'dii-him) and what (Wamaa) is behind them (Khal'fahum'), but (Wa) they do not (Laa) encompass HIM (Yuhiituuna Bihi) in knowledge (il'maa).
 ﴾ ١١١ ﴿ ۞ وَعَنَتِ ٱلۡوُجُوهُ لِلۡحَیِّ ٱلۡقَیُّومِۖ وَقَدۡ خَابَ مَنۡ حَمَلَ ظُلۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 111 ﴿ All faces (El'Wujuuhu) will yield (Änati) to the LIVING (Lil' Hayyi), the ETERNAL (El' Qayyuumi); and (Wa) whoever (Man') carries (Hamala) an injustice (Zul'maa) will indeed (Qad') fail (Khaaba).
 ﴾ ١١٢ ﴿ وَمَن یَعۡمَلۡ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَلَا یَخَافُ ظُلۡمࣰا وَلَا هَضۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 112 ﴿ And (Wa) whoever (Man) acts (Ya'mal') of (Mina) good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) while (Wa) being (Huwa) a believer (Mu'minun), then (Fa) he will not (Laa) fear (Yakhaafu) any injustice (Zul'man) nor (Walaa) harm (Had'maa).
 ﴾ ١١٣ ﴿ وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِیࣰّا وَصَرَّفۡنَا فِیهِ مِنَ ٱلۡوَعِیدِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَتَّقُونَ أَوۡ یُحۡدِثُ لَهُمۡ ذِكۡرࣰا
 ﴾ 113 ﴿ And (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) We have revealed it (Anzal'naa-hu)(Ärabiyyan) reading (Qur'aanan) and (Wa) have conducted (Sorraf'naa) therein (Fiihi) of (Mina) all threat (El'Waeedi) perhaps they (Laällahum) will reverence (Yattaquuna) or (Aw') it would cause (Yuh'dithu) remembrance (Zik'raa) for them (Lahum).
 ﴾ ١١٤ ﴿ فَتَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡحَقُّۗ وَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ بِٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یُقۡضَىٰۤ إِلَیۡكَ وَحۡیُهُۥۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدۡنِی عِلۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 114 ﴿ So (Fa) exalted is GOD (Ta'ääla-llahu), the KING (El' Maliku), the TRUTH (El' Haqqu). And (Wa) do not (Walaa) hasten (Ta'jal') with (Bi) the Koran (El'Qur'aani) before (Min Qab'li) its inspiration (6:19) (Wah'yu-hu) is (An) completed (Yuq'daa) to you (s) (ilai'ka), and say (Qul): "LORD (Rabbi), increase me (Zid'nii) in knowledge (il'maa)."
 ﴾ ١١٥ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ عَهِدۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰۤ ءَادَمَ مِن قَبۡلُ فَنَسِیَ وَلَمۡ نَجِدۡ لَهُۥ عَزۡمࣰا
 ﴾ 115 ﴿ And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') made an agreement with (Ähid'naa ilaa) Adam (Aadama) before (Min Qab'lu), but (Fa) he forgot (Nasiya); and (Wa) We did not (Lam') find (Najid') determination (Äz'maa) in him (Lahu).
 ﴾ ١١٦ ﴿ وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُوا۟ لِـَٔادَمَ فَسَجَدُوۤا۟ إِلَّاۤ إِبۡلِیسَ أَبَىٰ
 ﴾ 116 ﴿ And (Wa) when (Iz') We said (Qul'naa) to the Angels (Lil' Malaaikati), "Prostrate (Es'judu') to (Li) Adam (2:34) (Aadama)," and (Fa) they prostrated (Sajaduu'), except (illaa) Lucifer (Ib'liisa); he refused (Abaa).
 ﴾ ١١٧ ﴿ فَقُلۡنَا یَـٰۤـَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَـٰذَا عَدُوࣱّ لَّكَ وَلِزَوۡجِكَ فَلَا یُخۡرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ فَتَشۡقَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 117 ﴿ So (Fa) We said (Qul'naa), "O (Yaa) Adam (Aadamu), indeed (Inna) this (Haaza) is an enemy (Äduwwun) to you (Adam) (Laka) and (Wa) to (Li) your mate (f) (Ziw'ji-ka). Therefore (Fa) do not let him evict you both (Yukh'rijannakumaa) from (Mina) the garden (El'Jannati), then (Fa) you would suffer (Tash'qaa).
 ﴾ ١١٨ ﴿ إِنَّ لَكَ أَلَّا تَجُوعَ فِیهَا وَلَا تَعۡرَىٰ
 ﴾ 118 ﴿ "Indeed (Inna), for you (Laka) is no (Alla) hunger (Tajuuä) therein (Fiiha) nor (Walaa) nudity (Ta'raa).
 ﴾ ١١٩ ﴿ وَأَنَّكَ لَا تَظۡمَؤُا۟ فِیهَا وَلَا تَضۡحَىٰ
 ﴾ 119 ﴿ "And (Wa) that you (Adam) (Annaka) will not (Laa) be thirsty (Taz'mau') therein (Fiiha) nor (Walaa) be in the heat (sun) (Tad'haa)."
 ﴾ ١٢٠ ﴿ فَوَسۡوَسَ إِلَیۡهِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ قَالَ یَـٰۤـَٔادَمُ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكَ عَلَىٰ شَجَرَةِ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ وَمُلۡكࣲ لَّا یَبۡلَىٰ
 ﴾ 120 ﴿ But (Fa) the devil (Es'Shai'toanu) whispered (Was'wasa) to him (ilai'hi); he said (Qaala), "O (Yaa) Adam (Aadamu), shall (Hal') I direct you (Adullu-ka) to (Älaa) the tree of eternity (tree of life) (Shajaratil' Khul'di) and (Wa) a dominion (Mul'kin) without (Laa) deterioration (Yab'laa)?”
 ﴾ ١٢١ ﴿ فَأَكَلَا مِنۡهَا فَبَدَتۡ لَهُمَا سَوۡءَ ٰ⁠ تُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا یَخۡصِفَانِ عَلَیۡهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۚ وَعَصَىٰۤ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ فَغَوَىٰ
 ﴾ 121 ﴿ Thus (Fa), they ate (Akalaa) from it (Min'ha), so (Fa) their bodies (shame) (Saw'aatu-humaa) appeared (Badat') to them both (Lahumaa), and (Wa) they immediately began (Tofiqaa) to cover themselves (Yukh'sifaani Älai'himaa) with (Min) the leaves (Waraqi) of the garden (El'Jannati). So (Wa) Adam (Aadamu) disobeyed (Äsoa) his LORD (Rabba-hu) and (Fa) strayed (Gawaa).
 ﴾ ١٢٢ ﴿ ثُمَّ ٱجۡتَبَـٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَتَابَ عَلَیۡهِ وَهَدَىٰ
 ﴾ 122 ﴿ But (Thumma) his LORD (Rabbu-hu) chose him (Ej'tabaa-hu) and (Fa) forgave him (2:37) (Taaba Älai'hi) and (Wa) guided (Hadaa).
 ﴾ ١٢٣ ﴿ قَالَ ٱهۡبِطَا مِنۡهَا جَمِیعَۢاۖ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٍ عَدُوࣱّۖ فَإِمَّا یَأۡتِیَنَّكُم مِّنِّی هُدࣰى فَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هُدَایَ فَلَا یَضِلُّ وَلَا یَشۡقَىٰ
 ﴾ 123 ﴿ HE (God) said (Qaala), "Descend (Eh'bitoa) therefrom (Min'haa), all together (Jamiiän); as enemies (Äduwwun) to (Li) each other (Ba'du-kum’ Ba'din). And (Fa) when (Immaa) guidance (Hudan) comes to you (Ya'tiyannakum) from ME (Minnii), then (Fa) whoever (Mani) follows (Ettabaä) MY guidance (2:38) (Hudaaya), thence (Fa) he will not (Laa) go astray (Yadillu) nor (Walaa) suffer (Yash'qaa).
 ﴾ ١٢٤ ﴿ وَمَنۡ أَعۡرَضَ عَن ذِكۡرِی فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ مَعِیشَةࣰ ضَنكࣰا وَنَحۡشُرُهُۥ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ أَعۡمَىٰ
 ﴾ 124 ﴿ And (Wa) whoever (Man') turns away from (A'rado Än) MY remembrance (43:36) (Zik'rii), then (Fa) indeed (Inna), he will have (Lahu) a miserable (Donkaan) life (Maeeshatan), and We will assemble him (Nah'shuru-hu) blind (A'maa) on the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati).
 ﴾ ١٢٥ ﴿ قَالَ رَبِّ لِمَ حَشَرۡتَنِیۤ أَعۡمَىٰ وَقَدۡ كُنتُ بَصِیرࣰا
 ﴾ 125 ﴿ He (the human) will say (Qaala), "LORD (Rabbi), why (Lima) did you assemble me (Hashar'tanii) blind (A'maa) while (Wa) I have (Qad') been (-Kuntu) seeing (a seer) (Basiiraa)?"
 ﴾ ١٢٦ ﴿ قَالَ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ أَتَتۡكَ ءَایَـٰتُنَا فَنَسِیتَهَاۖ وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ تُنسَىٰ
 ﴾ 126 ﴿ HE (God) will say (Qaala), "Thus (Kazaalika) did Our verses (Aayaatu-naa) come to you (Atat'ka), but (Fa) you forgot them (Nasiita-ha); and (Wa) likewise (Kazaalika) will you be forgotten (Tunsaa) today (El'Yaw'ma)."
 ﴾ ١٢٧ ﴿ وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نَجۡزِی مَنۡ أَسۡرَفَ وَلَمۡ یُؤۡمِنۢ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ رَبِّهِۦۚ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ أَشَدُّ وَأَبۡقَىٰۤ
 ﴾ 127 ﴿ And (Wa) thus (Kazaalika) will We requite (Naj'zii) whoever (Man') transgressed (As'rafa) and (Wa) did not (Lam') believe (Yu'min) in (Bi) the verses (Aayaati) of his LORD (Rabbi-hi). And (Wa) the (La) punishment (Äzaabu) of the hereafter (El'Aakhirati) is severer (Ashaddu) and more lasting (Ab'qaa).
 ﴾ ١٢٨ ﴿ أَفَلَمۡ یَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ یَمۡشُونَ فِی مَسَـٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّأُو۟لِی ٱلنُّهَىٰ
 ﴾ 128 ﴿ Has it then not (Afalam') pointed to them (Yah'di Lahum') how many (Kam') of (Mina) the generations (El'Quruuni) We have annihilated (Ah'lak'naa) before them (Qab'lahum) as they walk (Yam'shuuna) in (Fii) their houses (Masaakini-him')? Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) those (Uulii) of intellect (En'Nuhaa).
 ﴾ ١٢٩ ﴿ وَلَوۡلَا كَلِمَةࣱ سَبَقَتۡ مِن رَّبِّكَ لَكَانَ لِزَامࣰا وَأَجَلࣱ مُّسَمࣰّى
 ﴾ 129 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') not (Laa) a word (Kalimatun) had preceded (Sabaqat') from (Min) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) and (Wa) a fixed (Musammaa) term (Ajalun), it would have (La) been (Kaana) a necessity (Lizaaman).
 ﴾ ١٣٠ ﴿ فَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ قَبۡلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمۡسِ وَقَبۡلَ غُرُوبِهَاۖ وَمِنۡ ءَانَاۤىِٕ ٱلَّیۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡ وَأَطۡرَافَ ٱلنَّهَارِ لَعَلَّكَ تَرۡضَىٰ
 ﴾ 130 ﴿ So (Fa) be patient (Es'bir) over (Älaa) what (Maa) they (p) say (Yaquuluuna) and (Wa) glorify (Sabbih') with (Bi) praise (Ham'di) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) before (Qab'la) the rising (Tuluue) of the sun (dawn) (Es'Shamsi) and before (Qab'la) its setting (evening) (Guruubi-ha); and (Wa) during (Min' Aanaai) the night (middle) (Ellai'li), thus (Fa) glorify (Sabbih') at (Wa) the sides (ends) (At'raafa) of the daytime (En'Nahaari) perhaps you (s) (La'ällaka) will be pleased (Tar'doa). (50:39-40 / 76:25-26)
 ﴾ ١٣١ ﴿ وَلَا تَمُدَّنَّ عَیۡنَیۡكَ إِلَىٰ مَا مَتَّعۡنَا بِهِۦۤ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣰا مِّنۡهُمۡ زَهۡرَةَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا لِنَفۡتِنَهُمۡ فِیهِۚ وَرِزۡقُ رَبِّكَ خَیۡرࣱ وَأَبۡقَىٰ
 ﴾ 131 ﴿ And (Wa) do not (Laa) extend (Tamuddanna) your eyes (s) (Äi'nai'ka) toward (ilaa) what (Maa) We have given kinds (Az'waajan) of them (Min'hum') to enjoy (-Matta'naa Bihi), the splendour (Zah'rata) of the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (El'Hayaati) is so that (Li) We might test them (Naf'tina-hum') therein (Fiihi); but (Wa) the sustenance (Riz'qu) of your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) is better (Khai'run) and more lasting (Ab'qaa).
 ﴾ ١٣٢ ﴿ وَأۡمُرۡ أَهۡلَكَ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ عَلَیۡهَاۖ لَا نَسۡـَٔلُكَ رِزۡقࣰاۖ نَّحۡنُ نَرۡزُقُكَۗ وَٱلۡعَـٰقِبَةُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰ
 ﴾ 132 ﴿ And (Wa) command (E'mur') your family (s) (Ah'la-ka) to (Bi) the Litany (Es'Solaati) and (Wa) be patient (Es'tabir) thereupon (Älai'ha). We do not (Laa) ask you for (Nas'alu-ka) sustenance (Riz'qan); We (Nah'nu) provide for you (Nar'zuqu-ka), and (Wa) the outcome (El'Ääqibatu) is for piousness (Lit Taq'waa).
 ﴾ ١٣٣ ﴿ وَقَالُوا۟ لَوۡلَا یَأۡتِینَا بِـَٔایَةࣲ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۤۚ أَوَلَمۡ تَأۡتِهِم بَیِّنَةُ مَا فِی ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
 ﴾ 133 ﴿ And (Wa) they say (Qaalu), "Why (Law') does he not (Laa) bring us (Ya'tii-naa) a sign (Aayatin) from (Min) his LORD (Rabbi-hi)?" Or has there not (Awalam') come to them (Ta'ti-him) a proof (Bayyinatun) of what (Maa) is in (Fii) the first (El'Uulaa) pages (Es'Suhufi)? (87:18)
 ﴾ ١٣٤ ﴿ وَلَوۡ أَنَّاۤ أَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهُم بِعَذَابࣲ مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا لَوۡلَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡتَ إِلَیۡنَا رَسُولࣰا فَنَتَّبِعَ ءَایَـٰتِكَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن نَّذِلَّ وَنَخۡزَىٰ
 ﴾ 134 ﴿ And (Wa) if only (Law' Annaa) We had annihilated them (Ah'lak'naa-hum) with (Bi) a punishment (Äzaabin) before it (Min Qab'li-hi), they would have (La) said (Qaalu'), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), why (Law') did YOU not (Laa) send (Ar'sal'ta) a messenger (Rasuulan) to us (ilai'naa) then (Fa) we could have followed (Nattabiä) YOUR verses (Aayaati-ka) before (Min Qab'li) we were humiliated (Nazilla) and (Wa) disgraced (Nakh'zaa)?" (28:47)
 ﴾ ١٣٥ ﴿ قُلۡ كُلࣱّ مُّتَرَبِّصࣱ فَتَرَبَّصُوا۟ۖ فَسَتَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلصِّرَ ٰ⁠طِ ٱلسَّوِیِّ وَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ
 ﴾ 135 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Everyone (Kullun) is waiting (Mutarabbisun); so (Fa) wait (Tarabbasu'). And (Fa) you will (Sa) find out (Ta'lamuuna) who (Man') are the companions (As'haabu) of the straight (Es'Sawiyyi) path (Es'Siraati) and (Wa) who (Mani) is guided (Eh'tadaa).
