Q سُورَةُ قٓ
﴾ ١ ﴿ قۤۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡمَجِیدِ
﴾ 1 ﴿
Q (Qaaf)*: By (Wa) the Glorious (El'Majiid) Koran (El'Qur'aani). (85:21)
﴾ ٢ ﴿ بَلۡ عَجِبُوۤا۟ أَن جَاۤءَهُم مُّنذِرࣱ مِّنۡهُمۡ فَقَالَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ هَـٰذَا شَیۡءٌ عَجِیبٌ
﴾ 2 ﴿
In fact (Bal'), they wonder (Äjibuu') that (An) a warner (10:2) (Munzirun) among them (Min'hum) has come to them (Jaa'a-hum), so (Fa) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiruuna) say (Qaala), "This (Haaza) is something (Shai'un) amazing (Äjiib).
﴾ ٣ ﴿ أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابࣰاۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ رَجۡعُۢ بَعِیدࣱ
﴾ 3 ﴿
"When (A’iza) we die (Mit'naa) and (Wa) become (Kunna) dust (Turaaban)?! That (Zaalika) is a distant (Baeed') return (Raj'u)."
﴾ ٤ ﴿ قَدۡ عَلِمۡنَا مَا تَنقُصُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَعِندَنَا كِتَـٰبٌ حَفِیظُۢ
﴾ 4 ﴿
We already (Qad’) know (Älim'naa) those (Maa) the earth (El'Ar'du) will decrease (Tanqusu) amongthem (Min'hum’); for (Wa) We possess (Endanaa) a preserving (Hafiiz) record (Kitaabun).
﴾ ٥ ﴿ بَلۡ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُمۡ فَهُمۡ فِیۤ أَمۡرࣲ مَّرِیجٍ
﴾ 5 ﴿
In fact (Bal'), they have denied (Kazzabu' Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi) when (Lamma) it came to them (Jaa'a-hum’); so (Fa) they (Hum’) are in (Fii) a confused (Mariij) situation (Am'rin). (6:66)
﴾ ٦ ﴿ أَفَلَمۡ یَنظُرُوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَیۡفَ بَنَیۡنَـٰهَا وَزَیَّنَّـٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِن فُرُوجࣲ
﴾ 6 ﴿
Did they then not (Afalam') look (Yanzuruu') at (ilaa) the sky (Es'Samaai) above them (Faw'qa-hum’); how (Kai'fa) We constructed it (Banai'naa-haa) and (Wa) adorned it (Zayyannaa-haa) and (Wa) it has (Laha) no (Maa Min) gaps (Furuuj)?
﴾ ٧ ﴿ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مَدَدۡنَـٰهَا وَأَلۡقَیۡنَا فِیهَا رَوَ ٰسِیَ وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِیهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجِۭ بَهِیجࣲ
﴾ 7 ﴿
And (Wa) the earth (El'Ar'do); We spread it out (Madad'naa-ha) and cast (Al'qai'naa) anchors (mountains) (Rawaasiya) therein (Fiiha) and germinated (Anbat'naa) therein (Fiiha) of (Min) every (Kulli) magnificent (Bahiij) kind (Zaw'ji)?
﴾ ٨ ﴿ تَبۡصِرَةࣰ وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِكُلِّ عَبۡدࣲ مُّنِیبࣲ
﴾ 8 ﴿
As enlightenment (Tab'siratan) and (Wa) a remembrance (Zik'raa) for (Li) every (Kulli) repenting (Muniib) servant (Äb'din).
﴾ ٩ ﴿ وَنَزَّلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ مُّبَـٰرَكࣰا فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا بِهِۦ جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَحَبَّ ٱلۡحَصِیدِ
﴾ 9 ﴿
And (Wa) We have sent down (Nazzal'naa) blessed (Mubaarakan) water (Maa'an) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) and (Fa) germinated (Anbat'naa) thereby (Bihi) gardens (Jannaatin) and (Wa) grains (Habba) of crop (El'Hasiid),
﴾ ١٠ ﴿ وَٱلنَّخۡلَ بَاسِقَـٰتࣲ لَّهَا طَلۡعࣱ نَّضِیدࣱ
﴾ 10 ﴿
as well as (Wa) date palms (En'Nakh'la) which have (Laha) towering (Baasiqaatin) sprout (Tol'un) arranged in layers (Nadiid),
﴾ ١١ ﴿ رِّزۡقࣰا لِّلۡعِبَادِۖ وَأَحۡیَیۡنَا بِهِۦ بَلۡدَةࣰ مَّیۡتࣰاۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡخُرُوجُ
﴾ 11 ﴿
as sustenance (Riz'qan) for the servants (mankind) (Lil' Ebaadi), and (Wa) We revive (Ah'yai'naa) a lifeless (Mai'tan) land (Bal'datan) with it (Bihi). Likewise (Kazaalika) is the emergence (El'Khuruuj).
﴾ ١٢ ﴿ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحࣲ وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلرَّسِّ وَثَمُودُ
﴾ 12 ﴿
The people (Qaw'mu) of Noah (Nuuhin) denied (Kazzabat') before them (Qab'lahum’), and so did (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of Rass (25:38) (Er'Rassi) and (Wa) Thamud (27:45) (Thamuud),
﴾ ١٣ ﴿ وَعَادࣱ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ وَإِخۡوَ ٰنُ لُوطࣲ
﴾ 13 ﴿
as well as (Wa) Ad (7:65) (Äädun), Pharaoh (Fir'äw'nu), and the brethren (Ikh'waanu) of Lot (Luut),
﴾ ١٤ ﴿ وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡأَیۡكَةِ وَقَوۡمُ تُبَّعࣲۚ كُلࣱّ كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِیدِ
﴾ 14 ﴿
as well as (Wa) the companions (As'haabu) of the jungle (Midian) (El'Ai'kati) and the people (Qaw'mu) of Tuba (44:37) (Tubba’en). All (Kullun) denied (Kazzaba) the messengers (Er'Rusula), so (Fa) MY threat (Waeedi) was just (Haqqa).
﴾ ١٥ ﴿ أَفَعَیِینَا بِٱلۡخَلۡقِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِی لَبۡسࣲ مِّنۡ خَلۡقࣲ جَدِیدࣲ
﴾ 15 ﴿
So (Afa-) were We incapable (-Äyiinaa) of (Bi) the first (El’Awwali) creation (El'Khal'qi)? In fact (Bal'), they (Hum) are in (Fii) confusion (Lab'sin) concerning (Min') a new (Jadiid) creation (Khal'qin).
﴾ ١٦ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُۥۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَیۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِیدِ
﴾ 16 ﴿
And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') created (Khalaq'naa) the human being (El' Insaana) and We know (Na'lamu) what (Maa) he whispers to (Tuwas'wisu Bi-hi) himself (Naf'su-hu); for (Wa) We (Nah'nu) are closer (Aq'rabu) to him (ilai'hi) than (Min') the jugular (Hab'li) vein (El'Wariid),
﴾ ١٧ ﴿ إِذۡ یَتَلَقَّى ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّیَانِ عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِیدࣱ
﴾ 17 ﴿
because (Iz') the two receivers (angels) (El'Mutalaqqiyaani) are seated (Qaeed) on the right side (Änil' Yamiini) and on (Äni) the left side (Es'Shimaali) receiving (Yatalaqqaa).
﴾ ١٨ ﴿ مَّا یَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَیۡهِ رَقِیبٌ عَتِیدࣱ
﴾ 18 ﴿
He (the human) does not (Maa) pronounce (Yal'fizu) a (Min) word (Qaw'lin) except (illa) an observer (Raqiibun) is prepared (Ätiid) near him (Ladai'hi).
﴾ ١٩ ﴿ وَجَاۤءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِیدُ
﴾ 19 ﴿
And (Wa) the intoxication (Sak'ratu) of death (El'Maw'ti) will come (Jaa'at) in truth (Bil' Haqqi); that (Zaalika) is what (Maa) you have been (Kunta) swerving (Tahiid) from (Min'hu).
﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ وَنُفِخَ فِی ٱلصُّورِۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡوَعِیدِ
﴾ 20 ﴿
And (Wa) the horn (Es'Suuri) will be blown (Nufikha Fii); that (Zaalika) is the Day of the Threat (Yaw'mul' Waeed).
﴾ ٢١ ﴿ وَجَاۤءَتۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ مَّعَهَا سَاۤىِٕقࣱ وَشَهِیدࣱ
﴾ 21 ﴿
And (Wa) every (Kullu) soul (Naf'sin) will come (Jaa'at') along with it (Maähaa) a herder (Saa’iqun) and a witness (Shahiid).
﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ لَّقَدۡ كُنتَ فِی غَفۡلَةࣲ مِّنۡ هَـٰذَا فَكَشَفۡنَا عَنكَ غِطَاۤءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ حَدِیدࣱ
﴾ 22 ﴿
“You (the human) (Kunta) were certainly (Laqad') in (Fii) heedlessness (Gaf'latin) of (Min') this (Haaza); thus (Fa) We have removed (Kashaf'naa) your cover (Gitoa'a-ka) from you (Änka), so (Fa) today (El'Yaw'ma) your eyesight (Basoru-ka) is sharp (Hadiid).”
﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ وَقَالَ قَرِینُهُۥ هَـٰذَا مَا لَدَیَّ عَتِیدٌ
﴾ 23 ﴿
His companion (43:36) (Qariinu-hu) will say (Qaala), "This (Haaza) is what (Maa) was prepared (Ätiid) with me (Ladayya)?"
﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ أَلۡقِیَا فِی جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِیدࣲ
﴾ 24 ﴿
(it will be said) "Throw (Al'qiya) every (Kulla) stubborn (Äniid) disbeliever (Kaffaarin) into (Fii) Hell (Jahannama).
﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ مَّنَّاعࣲ لِّلۡخَیۡرِ مُعۡتَدࣲ مُّرِیبٍ
﴾ 25 ﴿
"Forbidder (Mannaa'en) of good (Lil' Khai'ri), a trespasser (Mu'tadin) being suspicious (Muriib),
﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلۡقِیَاهُ فِی ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِیدِ
﴾ 26 ﴿
who (Ellazii) assigned (Jaäla) another (Aakhara) god (ilaahan) with the GOD (Maällahi), so (Fa) throw him (Al'qiyaa-hu) into (Fii) the severe (El'Shadiid) punishment (El'Äzaabi)."
﴾ ٢٧ ﴿ ۞ قَالَ قَرِینُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَاۤ أَطۡغَیۡتُهُۥ وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ فِی ضَلَـٰلِۭ بَعِیدࣲ
﴾ 27 ﴿
His companion (the devil) (Qariinu-hu) will say (Qaala), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), I did not (Maa) make him transgress (At'gai'tu-hu); but (Walaakin) he was (Kaana) in (Fii) distant (Baeed) error (Dolaalin)."
﴾ ٢٨ ﴿ قَالَ لَا تَخۡتَصِمُوا۟ لَدَیَّ وَقَدۡ قَدَّمۡتُ إِلَیۡكُم بِٱلۡوَعِیدِ
﴾ 28 ﴿
HE (God) will say (Qaala), "Do not (Laa) quarrel (Takh'tasimu') before ME (Ladayya); I had already (Qad') presented (Qaddam'tu Bi) the threat (El'Waeed) to you (p) (ilai'kum).
﴾ ٢٩ ﴿ مَا یُبَدَّلُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ لَدَیَّ وَمَاۤ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّـٰمࣲ لِّلۡعَبِیدِ
﴾ 29 ﴿
"The word (El'Qaw'lu) with ME (Ladayya) does not (Maa) change (Yubaddalu) nor (Wamaa Bi) will I (Ana') be unjust (Zollaamin) to the servants (Lil' Äbiid)."
﴾ ٣٠ ﴿ یَوۡمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمۡتَلَأۡتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلۡ مِن مَّزِیدࣲ
﴾ 30 ﴿
On that day (Yaw'ma) We will say (Naquulu) to (Li) Hell (Jahannama), "Are (Hali) you full (Em'tala'ti)?" And (Wa) it will say (Taquulu), "Are (Hal') there some (Min) more (Maziid)?"
﴾ ٣١ ﴿ وَأُزۡلِفَتِ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِینَ غَیۡرَ بَعِیدٍ
﴾ 31 ﴿
And (Wa) the Garden (El'Jannatu) will be brought near (Uz'lifati) for the pious (Lil' Muttaqiina), not (Gai'ra) far away (Baeed).
﴾ ٣٢ ﴿ هَـٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِیظࣲ
﴾ 32 ﴿
This (Haaza) is what (Maa) was promised (Tuuäduuna) to (Li) all (Kulli) who were repentant (Awwaabin) and mindful (Hafiiz),
﴾ ٣٣ ﴿ مَّنۡ خَشِیَ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنَ بِٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَجَاۤءَ بِقَلۡبࣲ مُّنِیبٍ
﴾ 33 ﴿
who (Man’) feared (Khashiya) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maana) in the unseen (36:11) (Bil' Gai'bi) and (Wa) came (Jaa'a) with (Bi) a repenting (Muniib) heart (Qal'bin).
﴾ ٣٤ ﴿ ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَـٰمࣲۖ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُلُودِ
﴾ 34 ﴿
“Enter it (Ed'khuluu-haa) in (Bi) peace (Salaamin); that (Zaalika) is the Day of Eternity (Yaw'mul' Khuluud)."
﴾ ٣٥ ﴿ لَهُم مَّا یَشَاۤءُونَ فِیهَا وَلَدَیۡنَا مَزِیدࣱ
﴾ 35 ﴿
They will have (Lahum) whatever (Maa) they wish (Yashaau) therein (Fiiha), and (Wa) there is more (Maziid) with Us (Ladai'naa).
﴾ ٣٦ ﴿ وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشࣰا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِیصٍ
﴾ 36 ﴿
And (Wa) how many (Kam') a (Min) generation (Qar'nin) before them (Qab'lahum) did We annihilate (Ah'lak'naa) who were stronger (Ashaddu) than them (Min'hum) in power (Bat'shaan) and (Fa) they dug (Naqqabu') into (Fii) the lands (El'Bilaadi). Was (Hal') there any (Min) escape (Mahiis)?
﴾ ٣٧ ﴿ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِیدࣱ
﴾ 37 ﴿
Indeed (Inna), there is (La) a remembrance (Zik'raa) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for whoever (Liman) possesses (Kaana Lahu) a heart (Qal'bun) or (Aw') presents (Al'qaa) a hearing (Es'Sam'ä) while (Wa) he (Huwa) is a witness (Shahiid).
﴾ ٣٨ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا فِی سِتَّةِ أَیَّامࣲ وَمَا مَسَّنَا مِن لُّغُوبࣲ
﴾ 38 ﴿
And (Wa) We certainly (Laqad') created (Khalaq'naa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and whatever (Maa) is between them (Bai'nahumaa) in (Fii) six (Sittati) days (Ayyaamin), and (Wa) no (Maa Min) exhaustion (Luguub) touched Us (Massa-naa). (10:3)
﴾ ٣٩ ﴿ فَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا یَقُولُونَ وَسَبِّحۡ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّكَ قَبۡلَ طُلُوعِ ٱلشَّمۡسِ وَقَبۡلَ ٱلۡغُرُوبِ
﴾ 39 ﴿
So (Fa) be patient (Es'bir) over (Älaa) what (Maa) they say (Yaquuluuna) and glorify (Sabbih') with (Bi) praise (Hamdi) your LORD (s) (Rabbi-ka) before (Qab'la) the rising (Tuluue) of the sun (dawn) (Es'Sham'si) and (Wa) before (Qab'la) the setting (evening) (El'Guruub),
﴾ ٤٠ ﴿ وَمِنَ ٱلَّیۡلِ فَسَبِّحۡهُ وَأَدۡبَـٰرَ ٱلسُّجُودِ
﴾ 40 ﴿
and (Wa) of (Mina) the night (middle) (Ellai'li); thus (Fa) glorify HIM (Sabbih'hu) and (Wa) after (Ad'baara) the prostration (4:102) (Es'Sujuud). (76:25-26)
﴾ ٤١ ﴿ وَٱسۡتَمِعۡ یَوۡمَ یُنَادِ ٱلۡمُنَادِ مِن مَّكَانࣲ قَرِیبࣲ
﴾ 41 ﴿
And (Wa) listen (Es'tami') for the day (Yaw'ma) the Caller (El'Munaadi) will call (Yunaadi) from (Min) a nearby (Qariib) location (Makaanin);
﴾ ٤٢ ﴿ یَوۡمَ یَسۡمَعُونَ ٱلصَّیۡحَةَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ یَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُرُوجِ
﴾ 42 ﴿
the day (Yaw'ma) they will hear (Yas'mauuna) the blow (Es'Soi'hata) in truth (Bil' Haqqi); that (Zaalika) is the Day of Emergence (Yaw'mul' Khuruuj).
﴾ ٤٣ ﴿ إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نُحۡیِۦ وَنُمِیتُ وَإِلَیۡنَا ٱلۡمَصِیرُ
﴾ 43 ﴿
Indeed (Innaa), We (Nah'nu) give life (Nuh'yi) and (Wa) cause death (Numiitu), and to Us (ilai'naa) is the destiny (El'Masiir). (45:26)
﴾ ٤٤ ﴿ یَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ عَنۡهُمۡ سِرَاعࣰاۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ حَشۡرٌ عَلَیۡنَا یَسِیرࣱ
﴾ 44 ﴿
The day (Yaw'ma) the earth (El'Ar'du) will split (Tashaqqaqu) away from them (Än'hum’) quickly (Siraa'än); that (Zaalika) is an easy (Yasiir) assembling (Hash'run) for Us (Älai'naa).
﴾ ٤٥ ﴿ نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَقُولُونَۖ وَمَاۤ أَنتَ عَلَیۡهِم بِجَبَّارࣲۖ فَذَكِّرۡ بِٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَن یَخَافُ وَعِیدِ
﴾ 45 ﴿
We (Nah'nu) are aware (A'lamu) of what (Bimaa) they say (Yaquuluuna), and (Wa) you (s) (Anta) are not (Maa Bi) a dictator (Jabbaarin) over them (Älai'him). So (Fa) remind (Zakkir') by the Koran (6:70) (Bil' Qur'aani) whoever (Man) fears (Yakhaafu) MY threat (Waeedi).
