The Split Up سُورَةُ الانشِقَاقِ
﴾ ١ ﴿ إِذَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ ٱنشَقَّتۡ
﴾ 1 ﴿
When (Izaa) the sky (Es'Samaau) has split up (Enshaqqat')*
﴾ ٢ ﴿ وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ
﴾ 2 ﴿
and (Wa) has listened (Azinat') to (Li) its LORD (Rabbi-ha) and became hollow (Huqqat'),
﴾ ٣ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُدَّتۡ
﴾ 3 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the earth (El'Ar'du) has spread out (Muddat')
﴾ ٤ ﴿ وَأَلۡقَتۡ مَا فِیهَا وَتَخَلَّتۡ
﴾ 4 ﴿
and (Wa) has cast out (Al'qat') whatever (Maa) is therein (Fiiha) and (Wa) relinquished (Takhallat'),
﴾ ٥ ﴿ وَأَذِنَتۡ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتۡ
﴾ 5 ﴿
and (Wa) has listened (Azinat’) to (Li) its LORD (Rabbi-ha) and became hollow (Huqqat').
﴾ ٦ ﴿ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدۡحࣰا فَمُلَـٰقِیهِ
﴾ 6 ﴿
O you (Yaa Ayyuha) human being (El' Insaanu)! Indeed, you (Innaka) are toiling (Kaadihun) to (ilaa) your LORD (Rabbi-ka), toil (Kad'han) and (Fa) meet HIM (Mulaaqii-hi).
﴾ ٧ ﴿ فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِیَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِیَمِینِهِۦ
﴾ 7 ﴿
Then (Fa) as for (Amma) one who (Man') is given (Uutiya) his record (Kitaaba-hu) to (Bi) his right hand (Yamiini-hi).
﴾ ٨ ﴿ فَسَوۡفَ یُحَاسَبُ حِسَابࣰا یَسِیرࣰا
﴾ 8 ﴿
Thus (Fa) he will (Saw'fa) be held accountable (Yuhaasabu) with a simple (Yasiiraa) reckoning (Hisaaban),
﴾ ٩ ﴿ وَیَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورࣰا
﴾ 9 ﴿
and (Wa) will turn around (Yanqalibu) to (ilaa) his people (Ah'li-hi), cheering (Mas'ruuraa).
﴾ ١٠ ﴿ وَأَمَّا مَنۡ أُوتِیَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ وَرَاۤءَ ظَهۡرِهِۦ
﴾ 10 ﴿
As for (Wa Amma) one who (Man') is given (Uutiya) his record (Kitaaba-hu) behind (Waraa'a) his back (Zoh'ri-hi),
﴾ ١١ ﴿ فَسَوۡفَ یَدۡعُوا۟ ثُبُورࣰا
﴾ 11 ﴿
thus (Fa) he will (Saw'fa) be invited (Yad'u') for destruction (Thubuuraa)
﴾ ١٢ ﴿ وَیَصۡلَىٰ سَعِیرًا
﴾ 12 ﴿
and (Wa) will burn (Yas'laa) in flames (Saeeraa).
﴾ ١٣ ﴿ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِیۤ أَهۡلِهِۦ مَسۡرُورًا
﴾ 13 ﴿
Indeed, he (Innahu) had been (Kaana) having fun (Mas'ruuraa) among (Fii) his people (Ah'li-hi);
﴾ ١٤ ﴿ إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن یَحُورَ
﴾ 14 ﴿
indeed, he (Innahu) thought (Zonna) that (An) he will never (Lan) return (come back) (Yahuur).
﴾ ١٥ ﴿ بَلَىٰۤۚ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِیرࣰا
﴾ 15 ﴿
Certainly (Balaa)! Indeed (Inna), his LORD (Rabba-hu) was cognizant of him (Basiira Bi-hi).
﴾ ١٦ ﴿ فَلَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ
﴾ 16 ﴿
So (Fa) I swear by (Laa' Uq'simu Bi) the afterglow (Es'Shafaq),
﴾ ١٧ ﴿ وَٱلَّیۡلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
﴾ 17 ﴿
and (Wa) the night (Ellai'li) and what (Wamaa) it loads (Wasaq),
﴾ ١٨ ﴿ وَٱلۡقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ
﴾ 18 ﴿
and (Wa) the moon (El'Qamari) when (Izaa) it is well-ordered (Ettasaq)
﴾ ١٩ ﴿ لَتَرۡكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقࣲ
﴾ 19 ﴿
that (La) you will be assembled (Tar'kabunna) course (Tobaqaan) by (Än) course (Tobaq).
﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ فَمَا لَهُمۡ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ
﴾ 20 ﴿
So (Fa) why do they (Maa Lahum') not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun)?
﴾ ٢١ ﴿ وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ لَا یَسۡجُدُونَ ۩
﴾ 21 ﴿
And (Wa) when (Izaa) the Koran (El'Qur'aanu) is being read (Quria) to them (Älai'himu), they do not (Laa) prostrate (make obeisance) (Yas'juduun)? (32:15)
﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ بَلِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ یُكَذِّبُونَ
﴾ 22 ﴿
Rather (Bali), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') are denying (Yukazzibuun),
﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یُوعُونَ
﴾ 23 ﴿
but (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is aware of what (A'lamu Bimaa) they pay attention to (Yuu'uun).
﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ فَبَشِّرۡهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِیمٍ
﴾ 24 ﴿
So (Fa) announce to them (Basshir'hum) of (Bi) a painful (Aliim) punishment (Äzaabin),
﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَیۡرُ مَمۡنُونِۭ
﴾ 25 ﴿
except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati). They will have (Lahum) a reward (Aj'run) without (Gai'ru) indebtedness (Mam'nuun). (95:6)
