The Livestock

﴾ 1 ﴿ Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi), who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and made (Jaåla) the darknesses (Ez'Zulumaati) and the light (En'Nuura), yet (Thumma) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') set up equals (Ya'diluun) with (Bi) their LORD (Rabbi-him).
﴾ 2 ﴿ HE (God) (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) created you (p) (Khalaqa-kum) from (Min) clay (Tiinin) and then (Thumma) decreed (Qadoa) a term (Ajalan); a fixed (Musammaa) term (Ajalun) with HIM (Endahu), yet (Thumma) you (Antum') are disputing (Tam'taruun).
﴾ 3 ﴿ And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the GOD (Ellahu) in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di); HE knows (Ya'lamu) your secret (Sirra-kum') and your publicity (Jah'ra-kum'), and (Wa) HE knows (Ya'lamu) what (Maa) you earn (Tak'sibuun).
﴾ 4 ﴿ And (Wa) no (Maa Min') verse (Aayatin) comes to them (Ta'tii-him) from (Min') the verses (Aayaati) of their LORD (Rabbi-him') except (illa) they are (Kaanu') turning away (Mu'ridiin) from it (Än'haa).
﴾ 5 ﴿ And (Fa) they have (Qad') denied (Kazzabu' Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi) when (Lamma) it came to them (Jaa'a-hum'), but (Fa) the news (Anbaau') of what (Maa) they have been (Kaanu') ridiculing (Yas'tah'ziuun Bi-hi) will (Saw'fa) come to them (Ya'tii-him').
﴾ 6 ﴿ Have they not (Alam') seen (Yaraw') how many (Kam') a (Min) generation (Qar'nin) We have annihilated (Ah'lak'naa) before them (Min Qab'li-him)? We established them (Makkannaahum') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) which (Maa) We have not (Lam') established for you (Numakkin Lakum'), and (Wa) We sent (Ar'sal'naa) the showering (Mid'raaran) of the sky (Es'Samaai) upon them (Älai'him) and made (Jaäl'naa) rivers (El'An'haara) flow (Taj'rii) beneath them (Min Tah'ti-him'); afterwards (Fa) We annihilated them (Ah'lak'naa-hum) for (Bi) their sins (Zunuubi-him') and established (Ansha'naa) another (Aakhariin) generation (Qar'nan) after them (Min Ba'di-him').
﴾ 7 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') We had sent down (Nazzal'naa) a writing (book) (Kitaaban) on (Fii) a sheet of paper (Qir'toasin) to you (Mohammed) (Älai'ka) and (Fa) they touched it (Lamasuu-hu) with (Bi) their hands (Ai'dii-him'), those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaruu') would have (La) said (Qaala), "This (Haazaa) is only (In' illa) clear (Mubiin) sorcery (Sih'run)."
﴾ 8 ﴿ And (Wa) they said (Qaalu'), "Why (Law') was an angel (Malakun) not (Laa) sent down to him (Unzila Älai'hi)?" But (Wa) if (Law') We had sent down (Anzal'naa) an angel (Malakan), the matter (El'Am'ru) would have been (La) settled (Qudiya); then (Thumma) they would not (Laa) be respited (Yunzoruun).
﴾ 9 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') We had assigned him (Jaäl'naa-hu) an angel (Malakan), We would have (La) made him (Jaäl'naa-hu) a man (Rajulan), and (Wa) We would have (La) dressed them (Labas'na Älai'him) with what (Maa) they (p) wear (Yal'bisuun).
﴾ 10 ﴿ And (Wa) certainly (Laqadi) messengers (Rusulin) were ridiculed (Es'tuh'zia Bi) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka), but (Fa) those who (Ellaziina) ridiculed them (Sakhiru' Min'hum) were afflicted (Haaqa Bi) for what (Maa) they were (Kaanu') ridiculing (Yas'tah'ziuun Bihi).
﴾ 11 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Travel (Siiru') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) and then (Thumma) observe (Enzuru') how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) the end (Ääqibatu) of the deniers (El'Mukazzibiin)."
﴾ 12 ﴿ Say (Qul): "To whom belongs (Liman) whatever (Maa) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di)?" Say (Qul): "To GOD (Lillahi).” HE has decreed (Kataba) the Mercy (Er'Rah'mata) upon (Älaa) Himself (Naf'si-hi). HE will (La) assemble you (Yaj'ma'ännakum') for (ilaa) the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mil' Qiyaamati) about which (Fiihi) there is no (Laa) doubt (Rai'ba). As for (Fa) those who (Ellaziina) have lost (Khasiruu') their souls (Anfusa-hum'), they (Hum') will not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).
﴾ 13 ﴿ And (Wa) to HIM belongs (Lahu) whatever (Maa) rests (Sakana) in (Fii) the night (Ellai'li) and (Wa) the daytime (En'Nahaari), and (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the HEARING (Es' Samiiu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim).
﴾ 14 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Is it other than GOD (A-gai'rallahi) I should take (A'ttakhizu) as a guardian (Waliyyan); Originator (Faatiri) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di), HE (Huwa) provides food (Yut'emu) but (Wa) HE is not (Laa) fed (Yut'äm')?" Say (Qul'): "I (Innii) have been commanded (Umir'tu) to (An) be (Akuuna) the first (6:163) (Awwala) of those who (Man') submit (As'lama) and not (Walaa) to be (Takuunanna) among (Mina) the polytheists (El'Mush'rikiin)."
﴾ 15 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Indeed (Innii), I fear (Akhaafu) the punishment (Äzaaba) of a terrible (Äziimi) day (Yaw'min), if (In') I should disobey (Äsoi'tu) my LORD (Rabbii)."
﴾ 16 ﴿ Whoever (Man) is diverted from it (Yus'raf' Än'hu), on that day (Yaw'maizin), then (Fa) HE (God) has been (Qad') merciful to him (Rahima-hu). And (Wa) that (Zaalika) is a clear (El'Mubiin) achievement (El'Faw'zu).
﴾ 17 ﴿ And (Wa) if (In) GOD (Ellahi) should touch you (s) (Yam'sas'ka) with (Bi) adversity (Durrin), there is no (Falaa) remover (Kaashifa) of it (Lahu) except (illa) HIM (Huwa). And (Wa) if (In) HE touches you (s) (Yam'sas'ka) with (Bi) good (Khai'rin), then (Fa) HE (Huwa) is capable (Qadiir) of (Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
﴾ 18 ﴿ And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the Vanquisher (El'Qaahiru) over (Faw'qa) HIS servants (Ebaadi-hi). And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the WISE (El' Hakiimu), the COGNIZANT (El' Khabiir).
﴾ 19 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "What (Ayyu) at all (Shai'in) is greater (Ak'baru) in testimony (Shahaada')?" Say (Quli): "GOD (Ellahu) is a Witness (Shahiidu) between me and you (p) (Bai'nii Wa Bai'na-kum) that this (Haaza) Koran (El'Qur'aanu) has been inspired (Uuhiya) to me (ilayya) in order to (Li) warn you (21:45) (Unzira-kum) by it (Bihi) and whoever (Waman) it may reach (Balaga). Have you indeed (A-innakum') been (La) testifying (Tash'haduuna) that (Anna) there are other (Ukh'raa) gods (Aalihatan) with (Maä) the GOD (Ellahi)?” Say (Qul): "I do not (Laa) testify (-Ash'hadu)." Say (Qul): "HE (Huwa) is only (Innama) One (Waahidun) God (ilaahun), and indeed, I am (Innanii) free (Bariiun) from what (Mimma) you associate (idolize) (Tush'rikuun)."
﴾ 20 ﴿ Those (Ellaziina) to whom We gave (Aata'naa-humu) the Book (El'Kitaaba) recognize it (Ya'rifuuna-hu) as (Kama) they recognize (Ya'rifuuna) their children (2:146) (Ab'naa'a-humu). As for (Fa-) those who (Ellaziina) have lost (Khasiruu') their souls (Anfusa-hum'), they (-Hum) will not (Laa) believe (Yu'minuun).
﴾ 21 ﴿ And (Wa) who (Man') is more unjust (Az'lamu) than one who (Mimmani) fabricates (Ef'taraa) falsehood (Kaziban) about GOD (Älallahi) or (Aw') denies (Kazzaba Bi) HIS verses (Aayaati-hi)? Indeed (Innahu), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimuun) will not (Laa) succeed (Yuf'lihu).
﴾ 22 ﴿ And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) We will assemble them (Nah'shuru-hum) all (Jamiiän); then (Thumma) We will say (Naquulu) to those who (Lillaziina) have associated others (Ash'rakuu'), "Where (Ai'na) are “your associates (idols)(Shurakaau-kumu) whom (Ellaziina) you used to (Kuntum') allege (Taz'umuun)?"
﴾ 23 ﴿ Then (Thumma) there will be (Takun) no (Lam') discord of theirs (Fit'natu-hum) except (illaa) that (An) they will say (Qaalu'), "By GOD (Wallahi), our LORD (Rabbi-naa), we were (Kunna) not (Maa) polytheists (Mush'rikiin)."
﴾ 24 ﴿ Look (Enzur') how (Kai'fa) they will lie (Kazabu') about (Älaa) themselves (Anfusi-him), and (Wa) what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') fabricate (Yaf'taruun) will divert (Dolla) from them (Än'hum).
﴾ 25 ﴿ And (Wa) among them (Min'hum) are those who (Man) listen (Yas'tamiu) to you (s) (ilai'ka), but (Wa) We place (Jaäl'naa) coverings (Akinnatan) over (Älaa) their hearts (Quluubi-him), lest (An) they comprehend it (Yaf'qahuu-hu), and (Wa) deafness (Waq'ra) in (Fii) their ears (Aazaani-him). And if (In) they should see (Yaraw') every (Kulla) verse (Aayatin), they would not (Laa) believe (Yu'minu') in it (Bihi), even (Hattaa) when (Izaa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaruu') come to you (s) (Jaauu-ka) arguing with you (Yujaadiluunaka), they say (Yaquulu), "These (Haazaa) are only (In' illa) tales (Asaatiiru) of the past (El'Awwaliin)." (17:45-46)
﴾ 26 ﴿ And (Wa) they (Hum) refrain from it (Yan'haw'na Än'hu) and (Wa) distant from it (Yan'aw'na Än'hu). But (Wa) they only (In illa) destroy (Yuh'likuuna) themselves (Anfusa-hum), and (Wa) they do not (Maa) perceive (Yash'uruun).
﴾ 27 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') you could see (Taraa) when (Iz') they (the deniers) are made to look at (Wuqifu' Älaa) the Fire (En'Naari), and (Fa) they will say (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa)! If only (Lai'tanaa) we could return (Nuraddu) and not (Walaa) deny (Nukazziba Bi) the verses (Aayaati) of our LORD (Rabbi-naa) and be (Nakuuna) among (Mina) the believers (El'Mu'miniin)."
﴾ 28 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), what (Maa) they used to (Kaanu') conceal (Yukh'fuuna) before (Min Qab'lu) has appeared to them (Badaa La-hum). And (Wa) even if (Law') they were returned (Ruddu'), they would (La) return (Äädu') to what (Limaa) they were forbidden (Nuhu' Än'hu); for (Wa) indeed, they (Innahum) are (La) liars (Kaazibuun).
﴾ 29 ﴿ And (Wa) they say (Qaaluu'), "There (Hiya) is only (In' illa) our (-naa) worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (Hayaatu) and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (Maa Bi) be resurrected (Mab'uuthiin)."
﴾ 30 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') you could see (Taraa) when (Iz') they will made to look at (Wuqifu' Älaa) their LORD (Rabbi-him). HE (God) will say (Qaala), "Is (A-) this (Haaza) not (-lai'sa Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi)?" They will say (Qaalu'), "Certainly (Balaa), by (Wa) our LORD (Rabbi-naa)." HE will say (Qaala), "Then (Fa) taste (Zuuqu') the punishment (El'Äzaaba) for what (Bimaa) you used to (Kuntum') disbelieve (Tak'furuun)."
﴾ 31 ﴿ Those who (Ellaziina) deny (Kazzabu' Bi) the meeting of GOD (Liqaai-llahi) will have (Qad') lost (Khasira), until (Hattaa) when (Izaa) the Hour (Es'Saaätu) comes to them (Jaa'at'humu) suprisingly (Bag'tatan), they will say (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa)! Our heartbreak (Has'rata-naa) over (Älaa) what (Maa) we neglected (Farrat'naa) concerning it (Fiihaa)," and (Wa) they (Hum) will carry (Yah'miluuna) their burdens (Aw'zaara-hum’) on (Älaa) their backs (Zuhuuri-him’). Verily (Ala), evil (Saa'a) is what (Maa) they will bear (Yaziruun).

Will you then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?
﴾ 33 ﴿ We already (Qad') know (Na'lamu) that (Innahu) what (Ellazii) they say (Yaquuluun) will (La) sadden you (s) (Yah'zunu-ka). But (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum) are not (Laa) denying you (s) (Yukazzibuunaka), however (Walaakinna) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiina) are rejecting (Yaj'haduun Bi) Our verses (Aayaati-llahi).
﴾ 34 ﴿ And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') messengers (Rusulun) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka) were denied (Kuzzibat'), but (Fa) they were patient (Sobaru') over (Älaa) what (Maa) they were denied (Kuzzibu'), and they were harassed (Uuzu') until (Hattaa) Our victory (Nas'ru-naa) came to them (Ataa-hum’). And (Wa) there is no (Laa) alteration (Mubaddila) to (Li) the words of GOD (Kalimaati-llahi). And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') there has come to you (s) (Jaa'a-ka) some of (Min) the news (Nabai') of the messengers (El'Mur'saliin).
