The Prophets

﴾ 1 ﴿ Approaching (Eq'taraba) to the people (Lin' Naasi) is their reckoning (Hisaabu-hum’), but (Wa) they (Hum) are avoiding (Mu'riduun) in (Fii) heedlessness (Gaf'latin).
﴾ 2 ﴿ No (Maa Min) remembrance (Zik'rin) comes to them (Ya'tii-him) anew (Muh'dathin) from (Min) their LORD (Rabbi-him), except (illa) they listen to it (Es'tama’uu-hu) while (Wa) they (Hum) are playing (Yal'äbuun).
﴾ 3 ﴿ Their hearts (Quluubu-hum’) are heedless (Laahiyatan). And (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) transgressed (Zolamu') have confided (Asarruu') a secret conversation (conspiracy) (En'Naj'waa), "Is (Hal') this (Haazaa) only (illa) a human (Basharun) like you (Mith'lu-kum)? Will you then (Afa-) approach (-ta'tuuna) sorcery (Es'Sih'ra) while (Wa) you (Antum) see (Tub'siruun)?"
﴾ 4 ﴿ He (Mohammed) said (Qaala), "My LORD (Rabbii) knows (Ya'lamu) the statement (El'Qaw'la) in (Fii) the heaven (Es'Samaai) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). For (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the HEARER (Es' Samiiu), the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliim)."
﴾ 5 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), they said (Qaaluu'), "A jumble (Ad'gaathu) of dreams (Ah'laami); in fact (Bali), he invented it (Ef'taraa-hu), he (Huwa) is even (Bal') a poet (69:41) (Shaa'erun). So let (Fal') him bring us (Ya'ti-naa Bi) a sign (miracle) (Ayaayatin) as (Kamaa) the predecessors (El'Awwaluun) were sent (Ur'sila)."
﴾ 6 ﴿ No (Maa Min) town (Qar'yatin) which We have annihilated (Ah'lak'naa-haa) believed (Aamanat’) before them (Qab'lahum). Will they then (Afa-hum) believe (Yu'minuun)?
﴾ 7 ﴿ And (Wa) We did not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'naa) before you (s) (Qab'laka), except (illa) men (Rijaalan) to whom (ilai'him) We inspired (Nuuhii). So ask (Fas'alu') the People of the Remembrance (Ah'laz' Zik'ri), if (In) you do (Kuntum) not (Laa) know (Ta'lamuun). (16:43)
﴾ 8 ﴿ And (Wa) We did not (Maa) grant them (Jaäl'naa-hum) bodies (Jasadan) which did not (Laa) eat (Ya'kuluuna) food (Ettoääma), nor (Wamaa) were they (Kaanu') immortals (Khaalidiin).
﴾ 9 ﴿ Thus (Thumma) did We confirm for them (Sodaq'naa-humu) the promise (El'Wa'da), and (Fa) We rescued them (Anjai'naa-hum) together with (Wa) whomever (Man) We willed (Nashaau), and (Wa) We annihilated (Ah'lak'na) the profligates (El'Mus'rifiin).
﴾ 10 ﴿ We have certainly (Laqad') revealed (Anzal'naa) a book (Kitaaban) to you (p) (ilai'kum’) wherein (Fiihi) is your remembrance (43:44) (Zik'ru-kum’). Will you then not (Afalaa) reason (Ta'qiluun)?
﴾ 11 ﴿ And (Wa) how many (Kam') a (Min) town (Qar'yatin) that was (Kaanat') unjust (Zoalimatan) have We shattered (Qasom'naa) and (Wa) established (Ansha'naa) another (Aakhariin) people (Qaw'man) after it (Ba'dahaa)?
﴾ 12 ﴿ And (Fa) when (Lammaa) they perceived (Ahassu') Our torment (Ba'sa-naa), then (Izaa) they were running (Yar'kuduun) away from it (Min'haa),
﴾ 13 ﴿ "Do not (Laa) run (Tar'kudu'), come back (Er'jiuu') to (ilaa) what (Maa) you (p) have surrounded with luxury (Ut'rif'tum Fii-hi) and your houses (Masaakini-kum’) that you (Laällakum) may be questioned (Tus'aluun)."
﴾ 14 ﴿ They (the people) said (Qaalu'), "O (Yaa) woe to us (Wai'la-naa). Indeed (Inna), we are (Kunna) transgressors (Zoalimiin)."
﴾ 15 ﴿ And (Fa) these (Til'ka) allegation of theirs (Da'waa-hum’) did not (Maa) cease (Zaalati-) until (Hattaa) We rendered them (Jaäl'naa-hum) as a dead (Khaamidiin) crop (Hasiidan).
﴾ 16 ﴿ And (Wa) We did not (Maa) create (Khalaq'naa) the heaven (Es'Samaa'a) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahuma) to play (Laaebiin). (44:38-39)
﴾ 17 ﴿ If (Law') We had (Nattakhiza) intended (Arad'naa) to (An) play (Lah'wan), We could have (La) had it (Ettakhaz'naa-hu) with Us (Min Ladunnaa), if (In) were (Kunna) to do (Faaeliin).
﴾ 18 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), We pelt (Naq'zifu Älaa) falsehood (El'Baatili) with the truth (Bil' Haqqi), and (Fa) it (the truth) refutes it (Yad'magu-hu) and (Fa) then (Izaa) it becomes falsity (untrue) (Zaahiqun). And (Wa) for you (p) (Lakum) is the distress (El'Wai'lu) of what (Mimmaa) you describe (Tasifuun).
 ﴾ 19 ﴿ And (Wa) to HIM belongs (Lahu) whoever (Man) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). And those (Waman') with HIM (Endahu) are not (Laa) arrogant (Yas'tak'biruuna) from (Än) worshipping HIM (Ebaadati-hi), nor (Walaa) do they get tired (Yas'tah'siruun);
﴾ 20 ﴿ they (the Angels) glorify (Yusabbihuuna) night (Ellai'la) and (Wa) day (En'Nahaara), they do not (Laa) slack (Yaf'turuun).
﴾ 21 ﴿ Or (Ami) do they have (Ettakhazuu') gods (Aalihatan) from (Mina) the earth (El'Ar'di) who (Hum) can resurrect (Yunshiruun)?
﴾ 22 ﴿ Had there been (Law' Kaana) gods (Aalihatun) in them (heaven & earth) (Fiihimaa) besides (illa) GOD (Ellahu), they would have been (La) corrupted (Fasadataa). So (Fa) glory be to GOD (Sub'haana-llahi), LORD (Rabbi) of the Throne (El'Är'shi), above what (Ämmaa) they describe (Yasifuun).
﴾ 23 ﴿ HE (God) will not (Laa) be questioned (Yus'alu) about what (Ämmaa) HE does (Yaf'älu), but (Wa) they (the idols) (Hum') will be questioned (Yus'aluun).
﴾ 24 ﴿ Or (Ami) do they have (Ettakhazu') gods (Aalihatan) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi)? Say (Qul'): "Bring (Haatu') your proof (Bur'haana-kum). This (Haaza) is a remembrance (Zik'ru) for those (Man) with me (Maeya) and (Wa) a remembrance (Zik'ru) for those (Man) before me (Qab'lii)." In fact (Bal'), most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuuna) the truth (43:78) (El'Haqqa); so (Fa) they (Hum) are avoiding (Mu'riduun).
﴾ 25 ﴿ And (Wa) We did not (Maa) send (Ar'sal'naa) any (Min) messenger (Rasuulin) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka) except (illa) We inspired to him (Nuuhii ilai'hi) that (Annahu), "There is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illaa) ME (Ana'); So (Fa) worship ME (E'buduuni)."
﴾ 26 ﴿ And (Wa) they say (Qaalu'), "The GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maanu) has (Ettakhaza) a son (Waladan)." Glory be to HIM (Sub'haana-hu)! Rather (Bal'), they are honourable (Muk'ramuun) servants (Ebaadun).
﴾ 27 ﴿ They (the messengers) do not (Laa) precede HIM (Yas'biquuna-hu) in (Bi) word (28:51) (El'Qaw'li), but (Wa) they (Hum) act (Ya'maluun) by (Bi) HIS command (Am'ri-hi).
﴾ 28 ﴿ HE knows (Ya'lamu) what (Maa) is before them (Bai'na Ai'dii-him) and what (Wamaa) is behind them (Khal'fahum), and they (the messengers) cannot (Walaa) intercede (Yash'fauuna) except (illa) for those (Limani) HE approves (20:109) (Er'tadoa). And (Wa) they (Hum) are fearful (Mush'fiquun) from (Min') fear of HIM (Khash'yati-hi).
﴾ 29 ﴿ And (Wa) whoever (Man) among them (the messengers) (Min'hum) should say (Yaqul'), "I am (Innii) a god (ilaahun) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi),” then (Fa) for that (Zaalika) We would requite him (Naj'zii-hi) with Hell (Jahannama). Thus (Kazaalika) do We requite (Naj'zii) the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimiin). (5:116)
﴾ 30 ﴿ Or (Awa) have those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaruu') not (Lam') considered (Yara) that (Anna) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) were (Kaanataa) patched up (Rat'qaan), and (Fa) We tore them apart (Fataq'naa-humaa) and (Wa) made (Jaäl'naa) every (Kulla) living (Hayyi) thing (Shai'in) from (Mina) water (El'Maai)? Will they then not (Afalaa) believe (Yu'minuun)?
﴾ 31 ﴿ And (Wa) We placed (Jaäl'naa) anchors (mountains) (Rawaasiya) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di), lest (An) it swings (sway) (Tamiida) with them (Bihim), and We made (Jaäl'naa) road (Fijaajan) ways (Subulan) therein (Fiiha) that they (Laällahum) may be guided (Yah'taduun).
﴾ 32 ﴿ And (Wa) We made (Jaäl'naa) the sky (Es'Samaa'a) a guarded (Mah'fuuzoan) roof (Saq'fan), but (Wa) they (Hum) are turning away (Mu'riduun) from (Än) its signs (Aayaati-haa).
﴾ 33 ﴿ And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) created (Khalaqa) the night (Ellai'la) and (Wa) the day (En'Nahaara) as well as (Wa) the sun (Es'Sham'sa) and the moon (Wal' Qamar); each (Kullun) floating (Yas'bahuun) in (Fii) an orbit (36:40) (Falakin).
﴾ 34 ﴿ And (Wa) We did not (Maa) grant (Jaäl'naa) eternity (El'Khul'da) to (Li) any human (Basharin) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka); so if (Afa'iin) you will die (Mitta), then (Fa) are they (p) (Humu) immortals (El'Khaaliduun)?
﴾ 35 ﴿ Every (Kullu) soul (Naf'sin) will taste (Zaaiqatu) death (3:185) (El'Maw'ti), while (Wa) We test you (Nab'luu-kum) with (Bi) trials (Fit'natan) of evil (Es'Sharri) and (Wa) good (El'Khai'ri); and (Wa) to Us (ilai'naa) you will be returned (Tur'jauun).
﴾ 36 ﴿ And (Wa) when (Izaa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaruu') see you (s) (Ra'aa-ka), they take you (Yattakhizuuna-ka) only (illa) as a joke (Huzuwan), "Is this (A'haaza) the one who (Ellazii) mentions (Yaz'kuru) your gods (Aalihaata-kum)?" For (Wa) they (Hum) are disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in (Bi) the remembrance (Zik'ri) of the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani).
﴾ 37 ﴿ The character (Khuliqa) of the human being (El' Insaanu) is of (Min') haste (Äjalin). I (God) will show you (p) (Sa U'rii-kum) MY signs (Aayaatii), so do not (Falaa) hasten ME (Tas'ta'jiluuni).
﴾ 38 ﴿ And (Wa) they will say (Yaquuluuna), "When (Mataa) is this (Haaza) promise (El'Wa'du), if (In) you should be (Kuntum) truthful (Soadiqiin)?" (34:29)
﴾ 39 ﴿ If (Law') those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') should know (Ya'lamu); it is when (Hiina) the Fire (En'Naara) will not (Laa) abstain (Yakuffuuna) from (Än) their faces (Wujuuhi-himu), nor (Walaa) from (Än) their backs (Zuhuuri-him), nor (Walaa) will they (Hum) be helped (Yunsoruun).
﴾ 40 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), it will come to them (Ta'tii-him) surprisingly (Bag'tatan), and (Fa) it will astonish them (Tab'hatu-hum), and they will not (Falaa) be able to (Yas'tatiiuuna) repulse it (Radda-haa), nor (Walaa) will they (Hum) be respited (Yunzoruun).
﴾ 41 ﴿ And (Wa) certainly (Laqadi) messengers (Rusulin) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka) were ridiculed (Es'tuh'zia), but (Fa) those who (Ellaziina) ridiculed them (Sakhiru' Min'hum) were afflicted (Haaqa Bi) for (Bihi) what (Maa) they had been (Kaanu') ridiculing (Yas'tah'ziuun).
﴾ 42 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Who (Man) can guard you (p) (Yak'lau-kum) against (Mina) the GRACIOUS (Er' Rah'maani) at night (Bil' Lai'li) and (Wa) by day (En'Nahaari)?" In fact (Bal'), they are turning away (Mu'riduun) from (Än) the remembrance (Zik'ri) of their LORD (Rabbi-him).
﴾ 43 ﴿ Or (Am') do they have (Lahum') gods (Aalihatun) who prevent for them (Tam'nau-hum) other than Us (Min Duuni-naa)? They will not (Laa) be able to (Yas'tatiiuuna) help (Nas'ra) themselves (Anfusi-him') nor (Walaa) will they (Hum) be accompanied (Yus'habuun) by Us (Minnaa).
﴾ 44 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), We have provided for (Matta'naa) these (Haaulaai) and (Wa) their fathers (Aabaa'a-hum) until (Hattaa) the life span (El'Umuru) was prolonged for them (Toala Älai'himu). Do they then not (Afalaa) see (Yaraw'na) that (Annaa) We approach (Na'tii) the earth (El'Ar'do) by decreasing it (Nanqusu-haa) from (Min') its sides (13:41) (At'raafi-haa)? Are they then (Afa-humu) the winners (El'Gaalibuun)?
﴾ 45 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "I only (Innamaa) warn you (Unziru-kum) by the inspiration (Bil' Wah'yi)." But (Wa) the deaf (Es'Summu) cannot (Laa) hear (Yas'mau) the call (Ed'Duää'a) when (Izaa) they (Maa) are warned (Yunzaruun).” (53:3-4 / 6:19 / 20:114)
﴾ 46 ﴿ And (Wa) if (La'in) a scent (Naf'hatun) of (Min') the punishment (Äzaabi) of your LORD (Rabbi-ka) should touch them (Massat'hum'), they would (La) say (Yaquulunna), "O (Yaa) woe to us (Wai'lanaa)! Indeed (Innaa), we were (Kunnaa) transgressors (Zoalimiin)."

﴾ 97 ﴿ and (Wa) the true (El'Haqqu) promise (El'Wa'du) will approach (Eq'taraba); and (Fa) it (Hiya) is when (Izaa) the eyesight (Ab'soaru) of those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') will be fixed (Shaakhisotun), "O (Yaa) woe to us (Wai'lanaa); we have (Qad') been (Kunnaa) in (Fii) heedlessness (Gaf'latin) from (Min') this (Haaza). In fact (Bal'), we were (Kunnaa) transgressors (Zoalimiin)."
﴾ 98 ﴿ Indeed, you (Innakum') and (Wa) those (Maa) you worship (Ta'buduuna) besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi) will be pebbles (Hasobu) of Hell (Jahannama); you (Antum') will arrive (Waariduun) at it (Lahaa).

﴾ 99 ﴿ If (Law') these (Haa'ulaai) were (Kaana) gods (Aalihatan), they would not (Maa) have arrived at it (Waraduu-haa), but (Wa) they (idols & idolaters) will all (Kullun) be therein (Fiihaa) eternally (Khaaliduun).

﴾ 102 ﴿ They will not (Laa) hear (Yas'mauuna) its hissing (Hasiisa-ha), while (Wa) they (Hum') are in (Fii) that which (Maa) their souls (Anfusu-hum') desire (Esh'tahat'), eternally (Khaaliduun).
