The Wrap Up سُورَةُ التَّكۡوِيرِ
﴾ ١ ﴿ إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ
﴾ 1 ﴿
When (Izaa) the sun (Es'Sham'su) have been wrapped up (Kuwwirat')*
﴾ ٢ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ
﴾ 2 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the stars (En'Nujuumu) have become opaque (Enkadarat'),
﴾ ٣ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُیِّرَتۡ
﴾ 3 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the mountains (El'Jibaalu) have been dispatched (Suyyirat'),
﴾ ٤ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ
﴾ 4 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the inseminations (El'Eshaaru) have been suspended (Uttilat'),
﴾ ٥ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ
﴾ 5 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the beasts (El'Wuhuushu) have been gathered (Hushirat'),
﴾ ٦ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ
﴾ 6 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the seas (El'Bihaaru) have been overflowed (Sujjirat'),
﴾ ٧ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ
﴾ 7 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the souls (En'Nufuusu) have been joined (Zuwwijat'),
﴾ ٨ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُىِٕلَتۡ
﴾ 8 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the buried alive (f) (El'Maw'uudatu) has been asked (Suilat') (16:59)
﴾ ٩ ﴿ بِأَیِّ ذَنۢبࣲ قُتِلَتۡ
﴾ 9 ﴿
for (Bi) what (Ayyi) sin (Zanbin) she was killed (Qutilat').
﴾ ١٠ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ
﴾ 10 ﴿
And (Wa) when (Izaa) the pages (Es'Suhufu) have been spread out (Nushirat’),
﴾ ١١ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ كُشِطَتۡ
﴾ 11 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the sky (Es'Samaau) has been swept away (Kushitot'),
﴾ ١٢ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِیمُ سُعِّرَتۡ
﴾ 12 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) Hell (El'Jahiimu) has been kindled (Su’’erat'),
﴾ ١٣ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ
﴾ 13 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the Garden (El'Jannatu) has been brought near (Uz'lifat'),
﴾ ١٤ ﴿ عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّاۤ أَحۡضَرَتۡ
﴾ 14 ﴿
a soul (Naf'sun) will know (Älimat') what (Maa) it has brought (Ah'dorat').
﴾ ١٥ ﴿ فَلَاۤ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ
﴾ 15 ﴿
So (Fa) I swear by (Laa' Uq'simu Bi) the planets (El'Khunnas)
﴾ ١٦ ﴿ ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ
﴾ 16 ﴿
gliding (El'Jawaari) in outer space (El'Kunnas),
﴾ ١٧ ﴿ وَٱلَّیۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ
﴾ 17 ﴿
and (Wa) the night (Ellai'li) when (Izaa) it grows dark (Äs'äs),
﴾ ١٨ ﴿ وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
﴾ 18 ﴿
and (Wa) the morning (Es'Sub'hi) when (Izaa) it breathes (Tanaffas).
﴾ ١٩ ﴿ إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولࣲ كَرِیمࣲ
﴾ 19 ﴿
Indeed, it (Innahu) is (La) the word (Qaw'lu) of an honourable (Kariim) messenger (Rasuulin) (69:40)
﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ ذِی قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِی ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِینࣲ
﴾ 20 ﴿
possessor (Zii) of strength (Quwwatin), in front of (Enda) the Possessor (Zii) of the Firmly Fixed (Makiin) Throne (El'Är'shi),
﴾ ٢١ ﴿ مُّطَاعࣲ ثَمَّ أَمِینࣲ
﴾ 21 ﴿
obeyed (Mutoa'en); furthermore (Thamma) trustworthy (Amiin).
﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونࣲ
﴾ 22 ﴿
And (Wa) your friend (Mohammed) (Soahibu-kum) is not (Maa Bi) a madman (Maj'nuun).
﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِینِ
﴾ 23 ﴿
For (Wa) he (M) certainly (Laqad') saw him (Ra’aa-hu) in (Bi) the clear (El'Mubiin) horizon (El'Ufuqi). (53:7)
﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَیۡبِ بِضَنِینࣲ
﴾ 24 ﴿
And (Wa) he (M) (Huwa) is not (Maa Bi) concealing (Doniini Älaa) the unseen (El'Gai'bi),
﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَیۡطَـٰنࣲ رَّجِیمࣲ
﴾ 25 ﴿
nor (Wamaa) is he (Huwa) with (Bi) the word (Qaw'li) of the accursed (Rajiim) devil (Shai'toanin).
﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ فَأَیۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ
﴾ 26 ﴿
So (Fa) where (Ai'na) are you (p) going (Taz'habuun)?
﴾ ٢٧ ﴿ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرࣱ لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ
﴾ 27 ﴿
It (Huwa) is only (In' illa) a remembrance (Zik'run) to the worlds (Lil' Äälamiin),
﴾ ٢٨ ﴿ لِمَن شَاۤءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن یَسۡتَقِیمَ
﴾ 28 ﴿
for whoever (Liman) wills (Shaa'a) to (An) be upright (Yas'taqiim) among you (Minkum').
﴾ ٢٩ ﴿ وَمَا تَشَاۤءُونَ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَشَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ
﴾ 29 ﴿
And (Wa) you do not (Maa) will (Tashaa'u) unless (illa An) GOD wills (Yashaa'a-llahu); LORD (Rabbu) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin).
