The Transmitters سُورَةُ المُرۡسَلَاتِ
﴾ ١ ﴿ وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَـٰتِ عُرۡفࣰا
﴾ 1 ﴿
By (Wa) the transmitters (El'Mur'salaati)* of custom (Ur'faa),
﴾ ٢ ﴿ فَٱلۡعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصۡفࣰا
﴾ 2 ﴿
and (Fa) those who storm (El'Ääsifaati) with tempest (Äs'faa),
﴾ ٣ ﴿ وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَ ٰتِ نَشۡرࣰا
﴾ 3 ﴿
and (Wa) the publishers (En'Naashiraati) of announcement (Nash'raa),
﴾ ٤ ﴿ فَٱلۡفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرۡقࣰا
﴾ 4 ﴿
and (Fa) the differentiators (El'Faariqaati) of discrepancy (Far'qaa),
﴾ ٥ ﴿ فَٱلۡمُلۡقِیَـٰتِ ذِكۡرًا
﴾ 5 ﴿
and (Fa) the deliverers (El'Mul'qiyaati) of remembrance (Zik'raa)
﴾ ٦ ﴿ عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا
﴾ 6 ﴿
as excuse (Uz'raan) or (Aw') warning (Nuz'raa),
﴾ ٧ ﴿ إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَ ٰقِعࣱ
﴾ 7 ﴿
indeed, what (Innamaa) you are promised (Tuu'äduuna) will (La) take place (Waaqiu).
﴾ ٨ ﴿ فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ
﴾ 8 ﴿
So (Fa) when (Izaa) the stars (En'Nujuumu) have been obliterated (Tumisat'),
﴾ ٩ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ فُرِجَتۡ
﴾ 9 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the sky (Es'Samaau) has been separated (Furijat'),
﴾ ١٠ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ
﴾ 10 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the mountains (El'Jibaalu) have been blown up (Nusifat’),
﴾ ١١ ﴿ وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ
﴾ 11 ﴿
and (Wa) when (Izaa) the messengers (the Angels) (Er'Rusulu) have stamped the time (Uqqitat');
﴾ ١٢ ﴿ لِأَیِّ یَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ
﴾ 12 ﴿
for (Li) what (Ayyi) day (Yaw'min) has it been delayed (Ujjilat')?
﴾ ١٣ ﴿ لِیَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
﴾ 13 ﴿
For (Li) the Day of Decisiveness (Yaw'mil' Fas'l)!
﴾ ١٤ ﴿ وَمَاۤ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
﴾ 14 ﴿
And (Wa) what (Maa) will make you (s) know (Ad'raa-ka) what (Maa) is the Day of Decisiveness (44:40) (Yaw'mul 'Fas'l)?
﴾ ١٥ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 15 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 1
﴾ ١٦ ﴿ أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
﴾ 16 ﴿
Did We not (Alam') annihilate (-Nuh'liki) the predecessors (El'Awwaliin)?
﴾ ١٧ ﴿ ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرِینَ
﴾ 17 ﴿
Then (Thumma) We followed them (Nut'biu-humu) with the later generations (El'Aakhiriin)?
﴾ ١٨ ﴿ كَذَ ٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ
﴾ 18 ﴿
Thus (Kazaalika) did We deal (Naf'älu) with (Bi) the criminals (El'Muj'rimiin).
﴾ ١٩ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 19 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 2
﴾ ٢٠ ﴿ أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاۤءࣲ مَّهِینࣲ
﴾ 20 ﴿
Did We not (Alam') create you (p) (Nakh'luq’kkum) from (Min) a despised (Mahiin) liquid (Maain),
﴾ ٢١ ﴿ فَجَعَلۡنَـٰهُ فِی قَرَارࣲ مَّكِینٍ
﴾ 21 ﴿
and (Fa) placed it (Jaäl'naa-hu) in (Fii) a deep-rooted (Makiin) base (Qaraarin)
﴾ ٢٢ ﴿ إِلَىٰ قَدَرࣲ مَّعۡلُومࣲ
﴾ 22 ﴿
for (ilaa) a well-known (Ma'luum) extent (Qadarin), (95:4)
﴾ ٢٣ ﴿ فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَـٰدِرُونَ
﴾ 23 ﴿
and (Fa) We estimated (Qadar'naa), and (Fa) the estimation (El'Qaadiruun) was wonderful (Ni'ma)?
﴾ ٢٤ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 24 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 3
﴾ ٢٥ ﴿ أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا
﴾ 25 ﴿
Did We not (Alam') make (Naj'äli) the earth (El'Ar'do) adequate (Kifaataa)
﴾ ٢٦ ﴿ أَحۡیَاۤءࣰ وَأَمۡوَ ٰتࣰا
﴾ 26 ﴿
for the living (Ah'yaa”an) and (Wa) the dead (Am'waataa)?
﴾ ٢٧ ﴿ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِیهَا رَوَ ٰسِیَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتࣲ وَأَسۡقَیۡنَـٰكُم مَّاۤءࣰ فُرَاتࣰا
﴾ 27 ﴿
And (Wa) We placed (Jaäl'naa) therein (Fiiha) towering (Shaamikhaatin) anchors (mountains) (Rawaasiya) and gave you (-kum) sweet (Furaatan) water (Maa'an) to drink (-As'qai'naa-)?
﴾ ٢٨ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 28 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 4
﴾ ٢٩ ﴿ ٱنطَلِقُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
﴾ 29 ﴿
Take off (Entoliquu') to (ilaa) what (Maa) you have been (Kuntum) denying (Tukazzibuun Bihi).
﴾ ٣٠ ﴿ ٱنطَلِقُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلࣲّ ذِی ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبࣲ
﴾ 30 ﴿
Take off (Entoliquu') to (ilaa) a shelter (Zillin) of (Zii) three (Thalaatin) branches (Shuäb)
﴾ ٣١ ﴿ لَّا ظَلِیلࣲ وَلَا یُغۡنِی مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
﴾ 31 ﴿
without (Laa) shade (Zoliilin), and (Wa) the flame (Ellahab) does not (Laa) spare (Yug'nii Mina).
﴾ ٣٢ ﴿ إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِی بِشَرَرࣲ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ
﴾ 32 ﴿
Indeed, it (Innahaa) will shoot (Tar'mii Bi) sparks (Shararin) as (Ka) a castle (El'Qas'r),
﴾ ٣٣ ﴿ كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتࣱ صُفۡرࣱ
﴾ 33 ﴿
as if they (the sparks) (Ka'annahu) were yellow (Suf'r) camels (Jimaalatun).
﴾ ٣٤ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 34 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 5
﴾ ٣٥ ﴿ هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ لَا یَنطِقُونَ
﴾ 35 ﴿
This (Haaza) is a day (Yaw'mu) they will not (Laa) speak (Yantiquun),
﴾ ٣٦ ﴿ وَلَا یُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَیَعۡتَذِرُونَ
﴾ 36 ﴿
nor (Walaa) will they be permitted (Yu'zanu La-hum') to (Fa) apologize (Ya'taziruun).
﴾ ٣٧ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 37 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 6
﴾ ٣٨ ﴿ هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَـٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ
﴾ 38 ﴿
This (Haaza) is the Day of Decisiveness (Yaw'mul' Fas'li); We have gathered you (p) (Jama'naa-kum') and (Wa) the predecessors (El'Awwaliin).
﴾ ٣٩ ﴿ فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَیۡدࣱ فَكِیدُونِ
﴾ 39 ﴿
So (Fa) if (In) you have (Kaana Lakum') a scheme (Kai'dun), then (Fa) trick ME (Kiiduuni).
﴾ ٤٠ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 40 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 7
﴾ ٤١ ﴿ إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ فِی ظِلَـٰلࣲ وَعُیُونࣲ
﴾ 41 ﴿
Indeed (Inna), the pious (El'Muttaqiina) will be in (Fii) shades (Zilaalin) with (Wa) spring waters (Uyuuni)
﴾ ٤٢ ﴿ وَفَوَ ٰكِهَ مِمَّا یَشۡتَهُونَ
﴾ 42 ﴿
and (Wa) fruits (Fawaakiha) of what (Mimmaa) they desire (Yash'tahuun).
﴾ ٤٣ ﴿ كُلُوا۟ وَٱشۡرَبُوا۟ هَنِیۤـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
﴾ 43 ﴿
“Eat (Kulu') and (Wa) drink (Esh'rabu') pleasantly (Haniiaa) for what (Bimaa) you have (Kuntum') done (Ta'maluun). “
﴾ ٤٤ ﴿ إِنَّا كَذَ ٰلِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ
﴾ 44 ﴿
Indeed (Innaa), thus (Kazaalika) will We reward (Naj'zii) the benevolent (El'Muh'siniin).
﴾ ٤٥ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 45 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 8
﴾ ٤٦ ﴿ كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِیلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ
﴾ 46 ﴿
“Eat (Kulu') and (Wa) enjoy (Tamattau') for a while (Qaliilan); indeed, you (the deniers) (Innakum) are criminals (Muj'rimuun).”
﴾ ٤٧ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 47 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 9
﴾ ٤٨ ﴿ وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُوا۟ لَا یَرۡكَعُونَ
﴾ 48 ﴿
And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are told (Qiila La-humu), "Bow down (Er'kau')," they will not (Laa) bow down (Yar'kauun). (68:42-43)
﴾ ٤٩ ﴿ وَیۡلࣱ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِینَ
﴾ 49 ﴿
Woe (Wai'lun) to the deniers (Lil' Mukazzibiin), on that day (Yaw'maizin). 10
﴾ ٥٠ ﴿ فَبِأَیِّ حَدِیثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ یُؤۡمِنُونَ
﴾ 50 ﴿
So (Fa) in (Bi) which (Ayyi) discourse (Hadiithi) after it (Ba'dahu) will they believe (Yu'minuun)? (SRV - 77:15, 77:19, 77:24, 77:28, 77:34, 77:37, 77:40, 77:45, 77:47, and 77:49)
