The Arrangers

 ﴾ 1 ﴿ By (Wa) the Arrangers (Es'Soaffaati)* of a row (Soffaa),
 ﴾ 2 ﴿ and (Fa) the restrainers (Ez'Zaajiraati) of a rebuke (Zaj'raa),
 ﴾ 3 ﴿ and (Fa) the reciters (Ettaaliyaati) of a remembrance (Zik'raa);
﴾ 4 ﴿ indeed (Inna), your god (ilaaha-kum’) is (La) One (Waahid),
﴾ 5 ﴿ LORD (Rabbu) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di) and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahumaa) and (Wa) LORD (Rabbu) of the east (El'Mashaariq).
﴾ 6 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), We have adorned (Ayyanna) the lowest (Ed'Dun'ya) heaven (Es'Samaa'a) with (Bi) the adornment (Ziinatin) of planets (El'Kawaakib),
﴾ 7 ﴿ guarding (Hif'zoan) against (Min) every (Kulli) rebellious (Maarid) devil (Shai'toanin).
﴾ 8 ﴿ They (the devils) cannot (Laa) listen (Yassammauuna) to (ilal) the highest (El'A'laa) assembly (El'Malai); for (Wa) they will be pelted (Yuq'zafuuna) from (Min) every (Kulli) side (Jaanib),
﴾ 9 ﴿ to be driven away (Duhuuran); and (Wa) they will have (Lahum) a permanent (Waasib) punishment (Äzaabun).
﴾ 10 ﴿ Only (illa) one whom (Man') the impulse (El'Khat'fata) catches (Khatifa), then (Fa) a penetrating(Thaaqib) meteor (Shihaabun) will chase him (At'baä-hu).
﴾ 11 ﴿ So (Fa) seek their legal opinion (Es'taf'ti-him), "Are they (Ahum') more difficult (Ashaddu) in creation (Khal'qan) or (Am) those (Man') We created (Khalaq'naa)?" Indeed (Innaa), We created them (the humans) (Khalaq'naa-hum) from (Min) sticky (Laazib) clay (Tiinin).
﴾ 12 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), you are amazed (Äjib'ta), while (Wa) they ridicule (Yas'kharuun).
﴾ 13 ﴿ And (Wa) when (Izaa) they are reminded (Zukkiru'), they do not (Laa) remember (Yaz'kuruun).
﴾ 14 ﴿ And (Wa) whenever (Izaa) they see (Ra'aw') a sign (Aayatan), they ridicule (Yas'tas'khiruun).
﴾ 15 ﴿ And (Wa) they say (Qaaluu'), "This (Haaza) is (In' illa) clear (Mubiin) sorcery (Sih'run)!
﴾ 16 ﴿ "When (A'izaa) we die (Mit'na) and (Wa) become (Kunna) dust (Turaaban) and bones (Ezoaman); we will indeed (A'inna) be (La) resurrected (Mab'uuthuun)?
﴾ 17 ﴿ “As well as (Awa) our forefathers (Aabaaunal' Awwaluun)?"
﴾ 18 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Yes (Naäm'), you (Antum') will be piled up (Daakhiruun).”
﴾ 19 ﴿ And (Fa) it (Hiya) will only (Innama) be a single (Waahidatun) rebuke (Zaj'ratun) and (Fa) then (Izaa) they (Hum') will be looking (Yanzuruun).
﴾ 20 ﴿ And (Wa) they will say (Qaalu'), "Woe to us! (Yaa Wai'lanaa); this (Haazaa) is the Day of Judgement (Yaw'mu Ed'Diin)."
﴾ 21 ﴿ This (Haaza) is the Day of Decisiveness (77:38) (Yaw'mul' Fas'li) which (-hi) you have (Kuntum) denied (Tukazzibuun Bi-).
﴾ 22 ﴿ Those who (Ellaziina) transgressed (Zolamu') will be assembled (Eh'shuru') with (Wa) their spouses (Az'waaja-hum’) as well as (Wa) those (Wamaa) they used to (Kaanu') worship (Ya'buduun)
﴾ 23 ﴿ besides GOD (Min Duuni-llahi), for (Fa) they led them (Eh'duu-hum) to (ilaa) the path (Siraati) of Hell (El'Jahiim).
﴾ 24 ﴿ "Stop them (Waqifuu-hum)! Indeed, they (Innahum) must be questioned (Mas'uuluun).”
﴾ 25 ﴿ “Why do you (Maa Lakum) not (Laa) help each other (Tanaasoruun)?”
﴾ 26 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), they (Humu) will be submitting (Mus'tas'limuun) on that day (El'Yaw'ma).
 ﴾ 27 ﴿ And (Wa) they will engage in (Aq'bala Älaa) questioning (Yatasaa'aluun) each other (Ba'du-hum’ Ba'din).
﴾ 28 ﴿ They will say (Qaaluu'), "Indeed, you (Innakum) used to (Kuntum) come to us (Ta'tuunanaa) from the right side (Änil' Yamiin)."
﴾ 29 ﴿ They (the Idolized) will say (Qaalu'), "Rather (Bal), you were (Takuunu') not (Lam) believers (Mu'miniin),
﴾ 30 ﴿ we did not have (Maa Kaana Lanaa) any (Min) authority (Sul'toani) over you (Älai'kum); in fact (Bal'), you were (Kuntum) a transgressing (Toagiin) people (Qaw'man).
﴾ 31 ﴿ "So (Fa) the word (Qaw'lu) of our LORD (Rabbi-naa) has been imposed on us (Haqqa Älai'naa). Indeed (Innaa), we will (La) taste (Zaa’iquuna),
﴾ 32 ﴿ since (Fa) we misled you (Ag'wai'naa-kum); indeed (Innaa) we were (Kunnaa) misleaders (Gaawiin)."
﴾ 33 ﴿ And (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum) will be participating (Mush'tarikuun) in (Fii) the punishment (El'Äzaabi) on that day (Yaw'maizin).
﴾ 34 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), likewise (Kazaalika) will We deal with (Naf'älu Bi) the criminals (El'Muj'rimiin).
﴾ 35 ﴿ Indeed, they (Innahum) became arrogant (Yas'tak'biruun) when (Izaa) they were told (Qiila Lahum), "There is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) the GOD (Ellahu)." (Ch 112)
﴾ 36 ﴿ And (Wa) they said (Yaquuluuna), "Are we indeed (A'inna) to (La) leave (Taarikuu') our gods (Aalihati-naa) for (Li) a crazy (Maj'nuun) poet (Shaaerin)?"
﴾ 37 ﴿ In fact (Bal'), he (Mohammed) has brought (Jaa'a Bi) the truth (El'Haqqi) and (Wa) confirmed (Soddaqa) the messengers (El'Mur'saliin).
﴾ 38 ﴿ Indeed, you (Innakum) will (La) taste (Zaaiqu') the painful (El'Aliim) punishment (El'Äzaabi).
﴾ 39 ﴿ And (Wa) you will only (Maa illa) be requited (Tuj'zaw'na) for what (Maa) you have (Kuntum) done (Ta'maluun),
 ﴾ 40 ﴿ except (illa) the sincerely devoted (El'Mukh'lasiin) servants of GOD (Ebaada-llahi); 1
 ﴾ 41 ﴿ those (U'laaika) will have (Lahum') a well-known (Ma'luum) sustenance (Riz'qun)
﴾ 42 ﴿ of fruits (Fawaakihu); and (Wa) they (Hum) will be honoured (Muk'ramuun)
﴾ 43 ﴿ in (Fii) the Gardens of Bliss (Jannaatin' Naeem),
 ﴾ 44 ﴿ on (Älaa) alternating (Mutaqaabiliin) couches (Sururin);
﴾ 45 ﴿ circulated (Yutoafu) with (Bi) cups (Ka'sin) of (Min) spring water (Maeen) around them (Älai'him),
 ﴾ 46 ﴿ white (Bai'doa'a) and delicious (Lazzatin) for the drinkers (Lis’ Shaaribiin);
﴾ 47 ﴿ there is no (Laa) evil spirit (Gaw'lun) therein (Fiihaa) nor (Walaa) will they (Hum') be exhausted (Yunzafuun) therefrom (Än'haa).
﴾ 48 ﴿ And (Wa) with them (Endahum') will be a party (Ettor'fi) of young women (Qaasiraatu) as assistants (Een),
 ﴾ 49 ﴿ as if they (f) (Ka'annahunna) were protected (Mak'nuun) eggs (Ba'dun).
﴾ 50 ﴿ And (Fa) they (the inheritors) will engage in (Aq'bala Älaa) asking (Yatasaa'aluun) each other (Ba'du-hum' Ba'din).
﴾ 51 ﴿ A speaker 1 (Qaa’ilun) among them (Min'hum) will say (Qaala), "I (Innii) used to (Kaana) have (Lii) a companion (Qariin),
﴾ 52 ﴿ who would say (Yaquulu), "Are you indeed (A'inna-ka) among (Lamina) those who believe (El'Musoddiqiin)
﴾ 53 ﴿ that when (A'izaa) we die (Mit'naa) and (Wa) become (Kunnaa) dust (Turaaban) and bones (Ezoaman), we will indeed (A'innaa) be (La) held accountable (Madiinuun)?"
﴾ 54 ﴿ He (speaker 2) will say (Qaala), "Will (Hal') you (Antum) take a look (Muttoliuun)?"
﴾ 55 ﴿ Then (Fa) he (speaker 1) will look (Ettalaä) and (Fa) see him (the companion) (Ra'aa-hu) in (Fii) the square (Sawaa'i) of Hell (El'Jahiim).
﴾ 56 ﴿ He (speaker 1) will say (Qaala), "By GOD (Ta'llahi), you (the companion) almost (In Kidtta) would have (La) spoiled me (Tur'diini),
﴾ 57 ﴿ and (Wa) if not (Law' Laa) for the blessing (Ni'matu) of my LORD (Rabbii), I would have (La) been (Kuntu) among (Mina) those in attendance (the punishment) (El'Muh'doriin).
﴾ 58 ﴿ Speaker 1 "So (Afa-) we (Nah'nu) are not (-maa Bi) to die (Mayyitiin)
﴾ 59 ﴿ except (illa) our death (Maw'tata-naa) of the first life (El'Uulaa), and (Wa) we (Nah'nu) will not (Maa Bi) be punished (Muäzzabiin)?!"
 ﴾ 60 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), this (Haaza) is (Lahuwa) a great (El'Äziim) achievement (El'Faw'zu).
﴾ 61 ﴿ For (Li) the like (Mith'li) of this (Haaza), so let (Fal') the workers (El'Äämiluun) work (Ya'mali).
﴾ 62 ﴿ Is that (A'zaalika) a better (Khai'run) lodging (Nuzulan) or (Am') the tree (Shajaratu) of bitterness (Ez'Zaqquum)?
﴾ 63 ﴿ Indeed (Innaa), We have made it (Jaäl'naa-haa) a torment (Fit'natan) for the transgressors (Liz' Zoalimiin).
﴾ 64 ﴿ Indeed, it (Innahaa) is a tree (Shajaratun) which will come forth (Takh'ruju) in (Fii) the root (As'li) of Hell (El'Jahiim).
﴾ 65 ﴿ Its emergence (Tol'u-haa) is as if it (Ka'annahu) were the heads (Ru'uusu) of the devils (Es'Shayaatiin).
﴾ 66 ﴿ For (Fa) indeed, they (Innahum') will (La) eat (Aakiiluuna) from it (Min'haa) and (Fa) fill (Maaliuuna) the bellies (El'Butuun) therefrom (Min'haa).
﴾ 67 ﴿ Then (Thumma) indeed (Inna), they will have (Lahum') a (La) mixture (Shaw'ban) of (Min') magma (Hamiim) on top of it (Älai'haa).
﴾ 68 ﴿ Then (Thumma) indeed (Inna), their return (Mar'jiä-hum') is (La) to (ilaa) Hell (El'Jahiim).
﴾ 69 ﴿ Indeed, they (Innahum') found (Al'faw') their fathers (Aabaa'a-hum') astray (misguided) (Doalliin),
﴾ 70 ﴿ and they (Fahum') hastened (Yuh'rauun) on (Älaa) their footsteps (Aathaari-him').
﴾ 71 ﴿ And (Wa) most (Ak'tharu) of the predecessors (El'Äwwaliin) had certainly (Laqad') strayed (Dolla) before them (Qab'lahum).
﴾ 72 ﴿ And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') We sent (Ar'sal'naa) warners (Munziriin) among them (Fiihim).
﴾ 73 ﴿ So (Fa) observe (Enzur') how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) the end (Ääqibatu) of those warned (El'Munzariin),
 ﴾ 74 ﴿ except (illa) the sincerely devoted (El'Mukh'lasiin) servants of GOD (Ebaada-llahi). 2
﴾ 75 ﴿ And (Wa) certainly (Laqad') Noah (Nuuhun) called Us (Naadaa-naa), for (Fa) We are (La) the Wonderful (Ni'ma) Responders (El'Mujiibuun).
﴾ 76 ﴿ And (Wa) We rescued him (Najjai'naa-hu) and (Wa) his family (Ah'la-hu) from (Mina) the terrible (El'Äziim) distress (El'Kar'bi).
﴾ 77 ﴿ And (Wa) We made (Jaäl'naa) his descendants (Zurriyyata-hu) to be those (Humu) remaining (El'Baaqiin).
﴾ 78 ﴿ And (Wa) We left (Tarak'naa) about him (Älai'hi) for (Fii) later generations (El'Aakhiriin).
﴾ 79 ﴿ Peace (Salaamun) be upon (Älaa) Noah (Nuuhin) among (Fii) the worlds (El'Äälamiin).
﴾ 80 ﴿ Indeed, We (Innaa) thus (Kazaalika) reward (Naj'zii) the benevolent (El'Muh'siniin).
﴾ 81 ﴿ Indeed, he (Innahu) was one of (Min') Our (-naa) believing (El'Mu'miniin) servants (Ebaadi-).
 ﴾ 82 ﴿ Then (Thumma) We drowned (Ag'raq'naa) the others (El'Aakhiriin).
﴾ 83 ﴿ And (Wa) indeed (Inna), from (Min) his community (Noah’s) (Shiiäti-hi) was (La) Abraham (Ib'raahiim),
﴾ 84 ﴿ when (Iz') he came (Jaa'a) to his LORD (Rabba-hu) with (Bi) a sound (Saliim) heart (Qal'bin). (26:89)
﴾ 85 ﴿ When (Iz') he (Abraham) said (Qaala) to (Li) his father (Abii-hi) and (Wa) his people (Qaw'mi-hi), "What (Maaza) are you worshipping (Ta'buduun)?
﴾ 86 ﴿ "Is it (A-) gods (Aalihatan) of falsehood (-if'kan) other than (Duuna) the GOD (Ellahi) you desire (Turiiduun)?
﴾ 87 ﴿ "So (Fa) what (Maa) do you think (Zonnu-kum) of (Bi) the LORD (Rabbi) of the worlds (El'Äälamiin)?"
﴾ 88 ﴿ So (Fa) he (Abraham) took a look (Nazara Naz'ratan) at (Fii) the stars (En'Nujuum),
﴾ 89 ﴿ then (Fa) he said (Qaala), "Indeed, I am (Innii) ill (Saqiim)."
﴾ 90 ﴿ So (Fa) they turned away (Tawallaw') from him (Än'hu) retreating (Mud'biriin).
﴾ 91 ﴿ Then (Fa) he swerved (Raaga) to (ilaa) their gods (Aalihati-him') and (Fa) said (Qaala), "Do you not (Alaa) eat (Ta'kuluun)?
﴾ 92 ﴿ "Why do you (Maa Lakum') not (Laa) speak (Tantiquun)?"
﴾ 93 ﴿ Then (Fa) he swerved (Raaga) a blow (Dor'baa) at them (Älai'him') with the right hand (Bil' Yamiin).
﴾ 94 ﴿ Then (Fa) they (his people) came to him (Aq'baluu' ilai'hi), hurrying (Yaziffuun).
﴾ 95 ﴿ He (Abraham) said (Qaala), "Do you worship (Ata'buduuna) what (Maa) you sculpt (Tan'hituun),
