Originator

﴾ 1 ﴿ Praise (El'Hamdu) be to GOD (Lillahi), Originator (Faatiri)* of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di) who assigned (Jaaeli) the Angels (El'Malaaikati) as messengers (22:75) (Rusulan) possessing (U'lii) wings (Aj'nihatin), double (Math'naa), triple (Thulaatha), and (Wa) quadruple (Rubaa'ä). HE increases (Yaziidu) whatever (Maa) HE wills (Yashaa') in (Fii) the creation (El'Khal'qi). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is capable of (Qadiir Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in).
﴾ 2 ﴿ Whatever (Maa) GOD unlocks (Yaf'tahi-llahu) for the people (Lin' Naasi) of (Min) mercy (Rah'matin), there is no (Falaa) withholder (Mum'sika) of it (Lahaa); and whatever (Wamaa) HE withholds (Yum'sik'), there is no (Falaa) transmitter (Mur'sila) of it (Lahu) after HIM (Min Ba'di-hi). For (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the WISE (El' Hakiim).
﴾ 3 ﴿ O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), remember (Ez'kuru') the blessing of GOD (Ni'mata-llahi) upon you (Älai'kum). Is (Hal') there any (Min') creator (Khaaliqin) other than GOD (Gai'rullahi) who provides for you (Yar'zuqu-kum) from (Mina) the heaven (Es'Samaai) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di)? There is no god (Laa ilaaha) except (illa) HIM (Huwa). So (Fa) how (Annaa) are you lying (Tu'fakuun)?
﴾ 4 ﴿ And (Wa) if (In) they deny you (s) (Yukazzibuu-ka), then (Fa) messengers (Rusulun) before you (Min Qab'li-ka) were already (Qad') denied (Kuzzibat’). And (Wa) all matters (El'Umuur) are returned (Tur'jau) to GOD (ilaallahi).
﴾ 5 ﴿ O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), indeed (Inna), the promise of GOD (Wa'da-llahi) is true (Haqqun); so (Fa) let not (Laa) the worldly (Ed'Dun'ya) life (Hayyaatu) delude you (Tagurranna-kumu) and let not (Walaa) the deceiver (31:33) (El'Garuur) delude you (Yagurranna-kum) about GOD (Billahi).
﴾ 6 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), the devil (Es'Shai'toana) is an enemy (Äduwwun) to you (Lakum), so (Fa) take him (Ettakhizuu-hu) as an enemy (Äduwwan). He only (Innama) invites (Yad'uu') his party (Hiz'ba-hu) to (Li) be (Yakuunu') among (Min’) the companions (As'haabi) of the Inferno (Es'Saeer).
﴾ 7 ﴿ Those who (Ellaziina) disbelieve (Kafaru') will have (Lahum) a severe (Shadiid) punishment (Äzaabun), and (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) will have (Lahum) forgiveness (Mag'firatun) and a magnificent (Kabiir) reward (Aj'run).
﴾ 8 ﴿ Is there anyone (Afaman) whose (-hi) bad (Suu'u) deed (Ämali-) has been adorned to him (Zuyyina Lahu) and (Fa) he considers it (Ra'aa-hu) as good (Hasanan)? For (Fa) indeed, GOD (Innallaha) sends whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau) astray (-Yudillu) and (Wa) guides (Yah'dii) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau). So do not (Falaa) get rid of (Taz'hab') yourself (Naf'su-ka) because of them (Älai'him) in heartbreak (Hasaraatin). Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is aware (Äliimu) of what (Bimaa) they do (Yas'nauun).
﴾ 9 ﴿ And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is the One who (Ellazii) sends (Ar'sala) the winds (Er'Riyaaha) to (Fa) arouse (Tuthiiru) the clouds (Sahaaban), then (Fa) We drive them (Suq'naa-hu) to (ilaa) a lifeless (Mayyitin) land (Baladin) to (Fa) revive (Ah'yai'na) the earth (El'Ar'do) thereby (Bihi) after (Ba'da) its lifelessness (Maw'ti-ha). Likewise (Kazaalika) is the resurrection (En'Nushuur).
﴾ 10 ﴿ Whoever (Man Kaana) desires (Yuriidu) glory (El'Ezzata), then (Fa) all (Jamiiä) glory (El'Ezzatu) belongs to GOD (Lillahi). Good (Ettoyyibu) speech (El'Kalimu) rises (Yas'ädu) to HIM (ilai'hi), and (Wa) righteous (Es'Soalihu) work (El'Ämalu) raises it (Yar'fau-hu). But (Wa) those (Ellaziina) scheming (Yam'kuruuna) bad deeds (Es'Sayyiaati) will have (Lahum) a severe (Shadiid) punishment (Äzaabun), and (Wa) the scheming (Mak'ru) of those (U'laaika) will (Huwa) perish (Yabuur).
﴾ 11 ﴿ And (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) created you (Khalaqa-kum) from (Min) dust (Turaabin), then (Thumma) from (Min) sperm (Nut'fatin), then HE made you (Jaäla-kum) couples (spouses) (Az'waaja). And (Wa) no (Maa Min') female (Unthaa) gets pregnant (Tah'milu) nor (Walaa) gives birth (Tadau) except (illa) by (Bi) HIS knowledge (il'mi-hi), and (Wa) none (Maa) lives long (Yuämmaru) of (Min) longevity (Muämmarin) nor (Walaa) does his life (Umuri-hi) decrease (-Yunqasu) except (illa) in (Fii) a register (Kitaabin). Indeed (Inna), that (Zaalika) is easy (Yasiir) for GOD (Älaallahi).

﴾ 12 ﴿ And (Wa) the two seas (El'Bah'raani) are not (Maa) alike (Yas'tawii), there is (Haazaa) sweet water (Äz'bun Furaatun); which (-hu) is palatable (Saaigun) to drink (Sharaabu-), and (Wa) there is (Haazaa) the salty (Mil'hun) and bitter (Ujaajun). And (Wa) from (Min) each (Kullin) you eat (Ta'kuluuna) tender (Tariyyan) meat (Lah'man) and extract (Tas'takh'rijuuna) trinkets (16:14) (Hil'yatan) which you wear (Tal'basuuna-ha). And (Wa) you see (Taraa) the ships (El'Ful'ki) ploughing (Mawaakhira) through them (Fiihi) that (Li) you may seek (Tab'tagu') for (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi) perhaps you (Laällakum’) will be thankful (Tash'kuruun).
﴾ 13 ﴿ HE inserts (Yuuliju) the night (Ellai'la) into (Fii) the day (En'Nahaari) and (Wa) inserts (Yuuliju) the day (En'Nahaara) into (Fii) the night (Ellai'li) and has subjugated (Sakkhara) the sun (Es'Sham'sa) and the moon (Wal' Qamara), each (Kullun) occurring (Yaj'rii) for (Li) a fixed (Musamman) term (Ajalin). That (Zaalikumu) is GOD (Ellahu), your LORD (Rabbu-kum), to HIM belongs (Lahu) the dominion (El'Mul'ku). Those (Ellaziina) you invoke (Tad'uuna) besides HIM (Min Duuni-hi) do not (Maa) possess (Yam'likuuna) a (Min) pellicle (Qit'miir).
﴾ 14 ﴿ If (In) you invoke them (Tad'uu-hum) they do not (Laa) hear (Yas'mauu') your invocation (7:194) (Duää'a-kum), and (Wa) if (Law') they should hear (Samiu’), they could not (Maa) respond (Es'tajaabu') to you (Lakum). On the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mal' Qiyaamati), they will reject (Yak'furuuna Bi) your idolatry (polytheism) (Shir'ki-kum). And (Wa) none (Laa) can inform you (s) (Yunabbiu-ka) like (Mith'lu) the Cognizant (Khabiir).
﴾ 15 ﴿ O you (Yaa Ayyuha) mankind (En'Naasu), you (Antumu) are those in need (El'Fuqaraau) of GOD (ilaallahi), for (Wa) GOD (Ellahu) is (Huwa) the RICH (El' Ganiyyu), the PRAISEWORTHY (El' Hamiid).
﴾ 16 ﴿ If HE wills (In Yasha'), HE can remove you (Yuz'hib'kum) and (Wa) bring (Ya'ti Bi) a new (Jadiid) creation (Khal'qin).

You can only (Innama) warn (-Tunziru) those who (Ellaziina) fear (Yakh'shaw'na) their LORD (Rabba-hum) in the unseen (36:11) (Bil' Gai' bi) and (Wa) establish (Aqaamu') the Litany (Es'Solaata). And (Wa) whoever (Man) purifies (Tazakkaa), then (Fa) he only (Innama) purifies (Yatazakkaa) for (Li) his soul (Naf'si-hi). And (Wa) to GOD (ilaallahi) is the destiny (El'Masiir).

﴾ 36 ﴿ As for (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru'), for them (Lahum) is the fire (Naaru) of Hell (Jahannama). They will not (Laa) be crushed (Yuq'doa Älai'him) to (Fa) death (Yamuutu') nor will (Walaa Min’) its punishment (Äzaabi-haa) cool down for them (Yukhaffafu Än'hum). Thus (Kazaalika) will We requite (Naj'zii) all (Kulla) who are ungrateful (Kafuur).
﴾ 37 ﴿ And (Wa) they (Hum) will scream (Yas'torikhuuna) therein (Fiihaa), "Our LORD (Rabba-naa), remove us (Akh'rij'naa); we will act (Na'mal') righteous (Soalihan) other than (Gai'ra) what (Ellazii) we used to (Kunna) do (Na'malu)." Or did We not (Awalam') make you live long (Nuämmir'kum) that (Maa) those who (Man) would remember (Tazakkara) to take heed (Yatazakkaru) therein (Fiihi), and (Wa) a warner (En'Naziiru) came to you (Jaa'a-kumu)? So (Fa) taste (Zuuqu'), for (Fa) there is no (Maa Min) helper (Nasiir) for the transgressors (Liz' Zoalimiina).
﴾ 38 ﴿ Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) is the Knower (Äälimu) of the unseen (Gai'bi) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is aware of (Äliimu Bi) the essence (Zaati) of the bosoms (Es'Suduur).
﴾ 39 ﴿ HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) made you (Jaäla-kum) successors (6:165) (Khalaa’ifa) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). And (Fa) whoever (Man) disbelieves (Kafara), then (Fa) against him (Älai'hi) is his disbelief (Kuf'ru-hu). As for (Wa) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina) their disbelief (Kuf'ru-hum) does not (Laa) increase (Yaziidu) at (Enda) their LORD (Rabbi-him) except (illa) in abhorrence (Maq'tan), nor (Walaa) will the disbelief (Kuf'ru-) of the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriina) increase (Yaziidu) them (-hum) except (illa) in loss (Khasaaran).
﴾ 40 ﴿ Say (Qul'): "Have you considered (Ara-ai'tum) your associates (Shurakaa'a-kum) whom (Ellaziina) you invoke (Tad'uuna) besides GOD 1 (Min Duuni-llahi)? Show me (Aruu-nii) what (Maaza) they have created (Khalaqu') from the earth 2 (Minal' Ar'di), or (Am') do they have (Lahum) partnership (Shir'kun) in (Fii) the heavens 3 (Es'Samaawaati), or (Am') have We given them (Aatai'naa-hum) a book (Kitaaban) and (Fa) they (Hum) are on (Älaa) evidence (Bayyinatin) thereof 4 (Min'hu)? In fact (Bal'), the transgressors (Ez'Zoalimuuna) only (In illa) promise (Yaedu) each other (Ba'duhum Ba'dan) delusion (Guruuraa)."
﴾ 41 ﴿ Indeed, GOD (Innallaha) holds (Yumsiku) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do), lest (An) they cease (Tazuulaa). And (Wa) if (La'in) they should cease (Zaalataa); no (In’ Min) one (Ahadin) could hold them (Amsaka-humaa) after HIM (Min Ba'di-hi). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is (Kaana) Clement (Haliiman) and Forgiving (Gafuuraa).
﴾ 42 ﴿ And (Wa) they swore (Aq'samu') by GOD (Bllahi) in the effort (Jah'da) of their oaths (Ai'maani-him) that if (La'in) a warner (Naziirun) should come to them (Jaa'a-hum), they would (La) be (Yakuununna) better guided (Ah'daa) than (Min') any (Ih’daa) of the nations (El'Umami). But (Fa) when (Lammaa) a warner (Naziirun) came to them (Jaa'a-hum), it did not (Maa) augment them (Zaada-hum) except (illa) in aversion (Nufuuraa).
﴾ 43 ﴿ There is arrogance (Es'tik'baaraa) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) and (Wa) scheming (Mak'ra) of evil (Es'Sayyi'i); but (Wa) the scheming (El'Mak'ru) of evil (Es'Sayyiu) does not (Laa) afflict (Yahiiqu Bi) except (illa) its people (Ah'li-hi). So (Fa) are (Hal') they waiting (Yanzuruuna) only (illa) for the example (Sunnata) of the predecessors (El'Awwaliina)? But (Fa) you will never (Lan) find (Tajida) an alteration (Tab'diilan) to (Li) the tradition of GOD (Sunnati-llahi) nor (Walan) will you find (Tajida) a modification (Tah'wiila) to (Li) the tradition of GOD (Sunna) (Sunnati-llahi).
﴾ 44 ﴿ Or do they not (Awalam') travel (Yasiiru') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) to (Fa) see (Yanzuru') how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) the end (Ääqibatu) of those (Ellaziina) before them (Min Qab'li-him)? For (Wa) they (the predecessors) were (Kaanuu') stronger (Ashadda) than them (Min'hum) in strength (Quwwatan). And (Wa) there is (Kaana) not (Maa) a (Min) thing (Shai'in) which (-hu) can (Li) cause failure to (Yu'jiza-) GOD (Ellahu) in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) or (Walaa) on earth (Fiil' Ar'di). Indeed, HE (Innahu) is Omniscient (Äliiman) and Omnipotent (Qadiiraa).
﴾ 45 ﴿ And (Wa) if (Law') GOD should seize (Yuaakhizu-llahu) the people (En'Naasa) for what (Bimaa) they have earned (Kasabu'), HE would not (Maa) leave (Taraka) a (Min) creature (Daabbatin) on (Älaa) top of it (Zoh'ri-haa); but (Walaakin) HE delays them (Yuakkhiru-hum) for (ilaa) a fixed (Musamman) term (Ajalin). And (Fa) when (Izaa) their term (Ajalu-hum) comes (Jaa'a), then (Fa) indeed, GOD (Inna-llaha) is (Kaana) cognizant of (Basiira Bi) HIS servants (Ebaadi-hi).
