غُلِبَتِ ٱلرُّومُ The Romans (Er'Ruum)* will be defeated (Gulibati) https://thegreatkoran.com/30:2

فِیۤ أَدۡنَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ غَلَبِهِمۡ سَیَغۡلِبُونَ in (Fii) the nearest (Ad'naa) land (El'Ar'di), but (Wa) after (Min Ba'di) their defeat (Galabi-him’), they (Hum) will overcome (Sa Yag'libuun) https://thegreatkoran.com/30:3

فِی بِضۡعِ سِنِینَۗ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَمِنۢ بَعۡدُۚ وَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَفۡرَحُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ in (Fii) several (Bid'e) years (Siniina); to GOD belongs (Lillahi) the command (El'Am'ru) before (Min Qab'lu) and (Wa) after (Min Ba'du). And (Wa) on that day (Yaw'maizin), the believers (El'Mu'minuun) will rejoice (Yaf'rahu) https://thegreatkoran.com/30:4

بِنَصۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ یَنصُرُ مَن یَشَاۤءُۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ in (Bi) the victory of GOD (Nas'ri-llahi); HE supports (Yansuru) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaa'). For (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the MERCIFUL (Er' Rahiim). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:5

وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِۖ لَا یُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ Such is the promise of GOD (Wa'da-llahi); GOD (Ellahu) does not (Laa) break (Yukh'lifu) HIS promise (Wa'da-hu), but (Walaakinna) most (Ak'thara) of the people (En'Naasi) do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:6

یَعۡلَمُونَ ظَـٰهِرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ هُمۡ غَـٰفِلُونَ They know (Ya'lamuuna) what is apparent (Zoahiran) of (Mina) the worldly (Ed'Dun'yaa) life (El'Hayaati), but (Wa) they (Hum) are unaware (Gaafiluun) of (Äni) the hereafter (El'Aakhirati). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:7

أَوَلَمۡ یَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ فِیۤ أَنفُسِهِمۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَاۤ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۗ وَإِنَّ كَثِیرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِلِقَاۤىِٕ رَبِّهِمۡ لَكَـٰفِرُونَ Or do they not (Awalam') ponder (Yatafakkaru') about (Fii) themselves (Anfusi-him)? GOD (Ellahu) did not (Maa) create (Khalaqa) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'do) and whatever (Wamaa) is between them (Bai'nahumaa) except (illa) for the truth (Bil' Haqqi) and a fixed (Musamman) term (Ajalin). Indeed (Inna), many (Kathiiran) of (Mina) the people (En'Naasi) are (La) disbelievers (Kaafiruun) in (Bi) the meeting (Liqaai) of their LORD (Rabbi-him). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:8

أَوَلَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَیَنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوۤا۟ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةࣰ وَأَثَارُوا۟ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَعَمَرُوهَاۤ أَكۡثَرَ مِمَّا عَمَرُوهَا وَجَاۤءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِیَظۡلِمَهُمۡ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ یَظۡلِمُونَ Or do they not (Awalam') travel (Yasiiru') on earth (Fiil' Ar'di) and (Fa) observe (Yanzuru') how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) the end (Ääqibatu) of those (Ellaziina) before them (Min Qab'li-him)? They were (Kaanuu') stronger (Ashadda) than them (Min'hum) in strength (Quwwatan), and (Wa) they extracted (Athaaru') the earth (El'Ar'do) and inhabited it (Ämaruu-haa) more (Ak'thara) than what (Mimmaa) they (the later ones) have inhabited (Ämaruu-haa). Their messengers (Rusulu-hum) brought them (Jaa'at-hum Bi) proofs (El'Bayyinaati'), for (Fa) GOD (Ellahu) was (Kaana) not (Maa) to (Li) wrong them (Yaz'lima-hum), but (Walaakin) they were (Kaanuu') wronging (Yaz'limuun) themselves (Anfusa-hum). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:9

ثُمَّ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَسَـٰۤـُٔوا۟ ٱلسُّوۤأَىٰۤ أَن كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَكَانُوا۟ بِهَا یَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ Thus (Thumma) the end (Ääqibata) of those who (Ellaziina) acted evil (Asaau') was evil (Es'Suw'aa), because (An) they denied (Kazzabu' Bi) the verses of GOD (Aayaati-llahi), and they were (Kaanu') mocking them (Yas'tah'ziuun Bi-haa). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:10

ٱللَّهُ یَبۡدَؤُا۟ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَیۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ GOD (Ellahu) initiates (Yab'dau') the creation (El'Khal'qa) and then (Thumma) repeats it (Yueedu-hu), then (Thumma) to HIM (ilai'hi) you will be returned (Tur'jauun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:11

وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یُبۡلِسُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) the Hour (Es'Saa'ätu) takes place (Taquumu), the criminals(El'Muj'rimuun) will be in despair (Yub'lisu), https://thegreatkoran.com/30:12

وَلَمۡ یَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَاۤىِٕهِمۡ شُفَعَـٰۤؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَاۤىِٕهِمۡ كَـٰفِرِینَ and (Wa) their associates (idols) (Shurakaai-him) will not (Lam') be (Yakun) intercessors (Shufa'ääu') for them (Lahum), and they will be (Kaanu') disbelievers (Kaafiriin) in (Bi) their associates (Shurakaai-him). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:13

وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَتَفَرَّقُونَ And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) the Hour (Es'Saa'ätu) takes place (Taquumu), on that day (Yaw'maizin), they will be separated (Yatafarraquun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:14

فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَهُمۡ فِی رَوۡضَةࣲ یُحۡبَرُونَ Then (Fa) as for (Ammaa) those who (Ellaziina) believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) did (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati), thus (Fa) they (Hum) will be happy (Yuh'baruun) in (Fii) gardens (Raw'dotin). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:15

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا وَلِقَاۤىِٕ ٱلۡـَٔاخِرَةِ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ فِی ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ But (Wa) as for (Amma) those who (Ellaziina) disbelieved (Kafaru') and denied (Kazzabu' Bi) Our verses (Aayaati-naa) and the meeting (Liqaai) of the hereafter (El'Aakhirati), then (Fa) those (U'laaika) will be in (Fii) attendance (Muh'doruun) of the punishment (28:61) (El'Äzaabi). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:16

فَسُبۡحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِینَ تُمۡسُونَ وَحِینَ تُصۡبِحُونَ So (Fa) glory be to GOD (Sub'haana-llahi) when (Hiina) it’s nightfall (Tum'suuna) and (Wa) when (Hiina) it’s morning (Tus'bihuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:17

وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَعَشِیࣰّا وَحِینَ تُظۡهِرُونَ And (Wa) for HIM (Lahu) is all praise (El'Ham'du) in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di), while (Wa) it’s evening (Äshiyyan) and (Wa) when (Hiina) it’s noon (Tuz'hiruun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:18

یُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡحَیَّ مِنَ ٱلۡمَیِّتِ وَیُخۡرِجُ ٱلۡمَیِّتَ مِنَ ٱلۡحَیِّ وَیُحۡیِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۚ وَكَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ تُخۡرَجُونَ HE (God) brings (Yukh'riju) the living (El'Hayya) out of (Mina) the dead (El'Mayyiti) and (Wa) brings (Yukh'riju) the dead (El'Mayyita) out of (Mina) the living (El'Hayyi) and revives (Yuh'yi) the earth (El'Ar'do) after (Ba'da) its lifelessness (Maw'ti-ha). Likewise (Kazaalika) will you be brought forth (Tukh'rajuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:19

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَنۡ خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ إِذَاۤ أَنتُم بَشَرࣱ تَنتَشِرُونَ And (Wa) among (Min') HIS signs 1 (Aayaati-hi) is that (An'); HE created you (p) (Khalaqa-kum) from (Min) dust (Turaabin), and (Thumma) then (Izaa) you became (Antum) humans (Basharun), spreading (Tantashiruun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:20

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ أَزۡوَ ٰ⁠جࣰا لِّتَسۡكُنُوۤا۟ إِلَیۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَیۡنَكُم مَّوَدَّةࣰ وَرَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَتَفَكَّرُونَ And (Wa) among (Min') HIS signs 2 (Aayaati-hi) is that (An'); HE created (Khalaqa) for you (Lakum) spouses (Az'waajan) from (Min') yourselves (Anfusi-kum) in order to (Li) stay with them (Tas'kunuu' ilai'haa), and HE placed (Jaäla) love (Mawaddatan) and mercy (Rah'matan) between you (Bai'nakum). Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who ponder (Yatafakkaruun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:21

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ خَلۡقُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَـٰفُ أَلۡسِنَتِكُمۡ وَأَلۡوَ ٰ⁠نِكُمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّلۡعَـٰلِمِینَ And (Wa) among (Min') HIS signs 3 (Aayaati-hi) is the creation (Khal'qu) of the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di) and the variation (Ekh'tilaafu) of your languages (Al'sinati-kum) as well as (Wa) your colours (35:28) (Al'waani-kum). Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for the knowledgeable (Lil' Äälimiin). (49:13) https://thegreatkoran.com/30:22

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ مَنَامُكُم بِٱلَّیۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱبۡتِغَاۤؤُكُم مِّن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَسۡمَعُونَ And (Wa) among (Min') HIS signs 4 (Aayaati-hi) is your sleep (Manaamu-kum) at night (Billai'li) and daytime (En'Nahaari), and your seeking (Eb'tigaau-kum) of (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi). Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who listen (Yas'mauun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:23

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦ یُرِیكُمُ ٱلۡبَرۡقَ خَوۡفࣰا وَطَمَعࣰا وَیُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَیُحۡیِۦ بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ And among (Wamin') HIS signs 5 (Aayaati-hi) is; HE shows you (Yurii-kum) the lightning (El'Bar'qa) of fear (Khaw'fan) and ambition (Tomaään), and (Wa) HE sends down (Yunazzilu) water (Maa'an) from (Mina) the sky (Es'Samaai) to (Fa) revive (Yuh'yii) the earth (El'Ar'do) thereby (Bihi) after (Ba'da) its lifelessness (Maw'ti-haa). Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who reason (Ya'qiluun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:24

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَن تَقُومَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۚ ثُمَّ إِذَا دَعَاكُمۡ دَعۡوَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِذَاۤ أَنتُمۡ تَخۡرُجُونَ And among (Wamin') HIS signs 6 (Aayaati-hi) is that (An); the heaven (Es'Samaau) and the earth (Wal' Ar'du) remain (Taquuma) by (Bi) HIS command (Am'ri-hi). And (Thumma) when (Izaa) HE calls you (Da'ää-kum) with an invitation (a call) (Da'watan) from (Mina) the earth (El'Ar'di), then (Izaa) you (p) (Antum) come forth (Takh'rujuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:25

وَلَهُۥ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ كُلࣱّ لَّهُۥ قَـٰنِتُونَ And (Wa) to HIM belongs (Lahu) whoever (Man) is in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di); all (Kullun) yield (Qaanituun) to HIM (Lahu). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:26

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی یَبۡدَؤُا۟ ٱلۡخَلۡقَ ثُمَّ یُعِیدُهُۥ وَهُوَ أَهۡوَنُ عَلَیۡهِۚ وَلَهُ ٱلۡمَثَلُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰ⁠تِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the One who (Ellazii) initiates (Yab'dau) the creation (El'Khal'qa) and then (Thumma) repeats it (Yueedu-hu), and (Wa) it (Huwa) is easy (Ah'wanu) for HIM (Älai'hi). And (Wa) to HIM belongs (Lahu) the highest (El'A'laa) example (16:60) (El'Mathalu) in (Fii) the heavens (Es'Samaawaati) and the earth (Wal' Ar'di). For (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the ALMIGHTY (El' Äziizu), the WISE (El' Hakiim). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:27

ضَرَبَ لَكُم مَّثَلࣰا مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡۖ هَل لَّكُم مِّن مَّا مَلَكَتۡ أَیۡمَـٰنُكُم مِّن شُرَكَاۤءَ فِی مَا رَزَقۡنَـٰكُمۡ فَأَنتُمۡ فِیهِ سَوَاۤءࣱ تَخَافُونَهُمۡ كَخِیفَتِكُمۡ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ نُفَصِّلُ ٱلۡـَٔایَـٰتِ لِقَوۡمࣲ یَعۡقِلُونَ HE cites (Doraba) for you (Lakum) an example (Mathalan) from (Min') yourselves (An'fusi-kum’): Do (Hal) you have (Lakum) any (Min) partners (Shurakaa'a) from (Min) those (Maa) your right hands (Ai'maanu-kum) possess (Malakat’), in (Fii) what (Maa) We have provided for you (Razaq'naa-kum), and (Fa) you (Antum) become equal (Sawaa'un) therein (Fiihi), fearing them (Takhaafuuna-hum) as (Ka) you fear (Khiifati-kum) yourselves (Anfusa-kum)? Thus (Kazaalika) have We explained (Nufassilu) the verses (El'Aayaati) for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who reason (Ya'qiluun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:28

بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوۤا۟ أَهۡوَاۤءَهُم بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲۖ فَمَن یَهۡدِی مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِینَ But rather (Bali), those who (Ellaziina) transgress (Zolamuu') follow (Ettabaä) their inclinations (Ah'waa'ahum) without (Bi-Gai'ri) knowledge (il'min). So who (Faman) can guide (Yah'dii) one whom (Man') GOD has sent astray (Adolla-llahu)? For (Wa) they have (Lahum) no (Maa Min') helpers (Naasiriin). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:29

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّینِ حَنِیفࣰاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِی فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَیۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِیلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ ٱلدِّینُ ٱلۡقَیِّمُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ Therefore (Fa) establish (Aqim') your aim (s) (Waj'ha-ka) to (Li) the orthodox (Haniifan) religion (Diini); such is the nature of GOD (Fit'rata-llahi) upon (Älai'ha) which (Ellatii) HE has originated (Fatora) mankind (En'Naasa). There is no (Laa) alteration (Tab'diila) to (Li) the creation of GOD (Khal'qi-llahi); that (Zaalika) is the valuable religion (98:5) (Ed'Diinul' Qayyimu), but (Walaakinna) most (Ak'thara) of the people (En'Naasi) do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:30

۞ مُنِیبِینَ إِلَیۡهِ وَٱتَّقُوهُ وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ Be repentant (Muniibiina) to HIM (ilai'hi), reverence HIM (Ettaquu-hu), and (Wa) establish (Aqiimu') the Litany (Es'Solaata), and do not (Walaa) be (Takuunu') among (Mina) the polytheists (El'Mush'rikiin), https://thegreatkoran.com/30:31

مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ فَرَّقُوا۟ دِینَهُمۡ وَكَانُوا۟ شِیَعࣰاۖ كُلُّ حِزۡبِۭ بِمَا لَدَیۡهِمۡ فَرِحُونَ among (Mina) those who (Ellaziina) have differentiated (Farraqu') their religion (Diina-hum) and (Wa) became (Kaanu') sects (6:159) (Shiyaän); each (Kullu) party (Hiz'bi) rejoicing (Farihuun) in what (Bimaa) it has (Ladai'him). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:32

وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلنَّاسَ ضُرࣱّ دَعَوۡا۟ رَبَّهُم مُّنِیبِینَ إِلَیۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَاۤ أَذَاقَهُم مِّنۡهُ رَحۡمَةً إِذَا فَرِیقࣱ مِّنۡهُم بِرَبِّهِمۡ یُشۡرِكُونَ And (Wa) when (Izaa) adversity (Durrun) touches (Massa) the people (En'Naasa), they invoke (Daäw') their LORD (Rabba-hum) being repentant (Muniibiina) to HIM (ilai'hi), but (Thumma) when (Izaa) HE makes them taste (Azaaqa-hum) mercy (Rah'matan) from HIM (Min'hu), then (Izaa) a group (Fariiqun) among them (Min'hum) associate others (Yush'rikuun) with (Bi) their LORD (Rabbi-him) https://thegreatkoran.com/30:33

لِیَكۡفُرُوا۟ بِمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡۚ فَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ in order to (Li) disbelieve (Yak'furu') in what (Bimaa) We have given them (Aatai'naa-hum). So (Fa) enjoy yourselves (Tamattau'), for (Fa) you will (Saw'fa) find out (Ta'lamuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:34

أَمۡ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهِمۡ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا فَهُوَ یَتَكَلَّمُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ یُشۡرِكُونَ Or (Am') have We sent down (Anzal'naa) an authority (Sul'toanan) to them (Älai'him), and (Fa) it (Huwa) speaks (Yatakallamu) of what (Bimaa) they have been (Kaanu') associating (Yush'rikuun) with HIM (Bihi)? https://thegreatkoran.com/30:35

وَإِذَاۤ أَذَقۡنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحۡمَةࣰ فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَاۖ وَإِن تُصِبۡهُمۡ سَیِّئَةُۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ إِذَا هُمۡ یَقۡنَطُونَ And (Wa) when (Izaa) We make the people (En'Naasa) taste (-Azaq'naa) mercy (Rah'matan), they rejoice at it (Farihu' Bi-haa), but (Wa) when (In) evil (Sayyiatu) strikes them (Tusib'hum) for what (Bimaa) their hands (Ai'dii-him) have sent forth (Qaddamat'), then (Izaa) they (Hum) despair (Yaq'natuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:36

أَوَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَـَٔایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ Or do they not (Awalam') see (Yaraw') that GOD (Annallaha) extends (Yab'sutu) sustenance (Er'Riz'qa) for whomever (Liman) HE wills (Yashaau) and (Wa) limits (Yaq'diru)? Indeed (Inna), there are (La) signs (Aayaatin) in (Fii) that (Zaalika) for (Li) people (Qaw'min) who believe (Yu'minuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:37

فَـَٔاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِینَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِیلِۚ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ خَیۡرࣱ لِّلَّذِینَ یُرِیدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ So (Fa) give (Aati) the relative (Zaal' Qur'baa) his due (Haqqa-hu), as well as (Wa) the poor (El'Mis'kiina) and (Wa) the wayfarer (Eb'na Es'Sabiili). That (Zaalika) is better (Khai'ru) for those who (Lillaziina) desire (Yuriiduuna) the countenance of GOD (2:272) (Waj'ha-llahi). And (Wa) they (Humu) are those (U'laaika) who are the successful (El'Muf'lihuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:38

وَمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُم مِّن رِّبࣰا لِّیَرۡبُوَا۟ فِیۤ أَمۡوَ ٰ⁠لِ ٱلنَّاسِ فَلَا یَرۡبُوا۟ عِندَ ٱللَّهِۖ وَمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡتُم مِّن زَكَوٰةࣲ تُرِیدُونَ وَجۡهَ ٱللَّهِ فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُضۡعِفُونَ And (Wa) whatever (Maa) you give (Aatai'tum) of (Min) usury (Ribaan) to (Li) increase (Yar'buwa') in (Fii) the wealth (Am'waali) of people (En'Naasi), thence (Fa) it does not (Laa) increase (Yar'bu') at GOD (Endallahi); but (Wa) whatever (Maa) you give (Aatai'tum) of (Min) charity (Zakaatin) desiring (Turiiduuna) the countenance of GOD (76:9) (Waj'ha-llahi), then (Fa) they (Humu) are those whose (U'laaika) will be multiplied (El'Mud'efuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:39

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ رَزَقَكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُمِیتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُحۡیِیكُمۡۖ هَلۡ مِن شُرَكَاۤىِٕكُم مَّن یَفۡعَلُ مِن ذَ ٰ⁠لِكُم مِّن شَیۡءࣲۚ سُبۡحَـٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ عَمَّا یُشۡرِكُونَ GOD (Ellahu) is the One who (Ellazii) created you (Khalaqa-kum), and then (Thumma) provides for you (Razaqa-kum), then (Thumma) HE causes you to die (Yumiitu-kum), and then (Thumma) HE will give you life (Yuh'yii-kum). Are (Hal') there any of (Min) your associates (idols) (Shurakaai-kum) who (Man) does (Yaf'älu) any of (Min) these (Zaalikum) at all (Min Shai'in)? Glory be to HIM (Sub'haana-hu) and (Wa) exalted (Ta'äälaa) above what (Ämmaa) they associate (Yush'rikuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:40

ظَهَرَ ٱلۡفَسَادُ فِی ٱلۡبَرِّ وَٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ أَیۡدِی ٱلنَّاسِ لِیُذِیقَهُم بَعۡضَ ٱلَّذِی عَمِلُوا۟ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَرۡجِعُونَ Corruption (El'Fasaadu) has appeared (Zohara) on (Fii) the land (El'Barri) and the sea (Wal' Bah'ri) because of what (Bimaa) the hands (Ai'dii) of the people (En'Naasi) have earned (Kasabat') so that (Li) HE (God) may let them taste (Yuziiqa-hum) some (Ba'do) of what (Ellazii) they have done (Ämilu') perhaps they (Laällahum) will revert (Yar'jiuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:41

قُلۡ سِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَیۡفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلُۚ كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّشۡرِكِینَ Say (Qul'): "Travel (Siiru') on (Fii) earth (El'Ar'di) and (Fa) observe (Enzuru) how (Kai'fa) was (Kaana) the end (Ääqibatu) of those (Ellaziina) before (Min Qab'lu); most of them (Ak'tharu-hum) were (Kaana) polytheists (12:106) (Mush'rikiin)." https://thegreatkoran.com/30:42

فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّینِ ٱلۡقَیِّمِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یَأۡتِیَ یَوۡمࣱ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ یَصَّدَّعُونَ So (Fa) establish (Aqim') your aim (Waj'ha-ka) to (Li) the valuable religion (98:5) (Diinil' Qayyimi) before (Min Qab'li An) a day (Yaw'mun) which has (Lahu) no (Laa) repeller (Maradda) comes (Ya'tiya) from GOD (Minallahi). مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَیۡهِ كُفۡرُهُۥۖ وَمَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمۡ یَمۡهَدُونَ Whoever (Man) disbelieves (Kafara), then (Fa) against him (Älai'hi) is his disbelief (Kuf'ru-hu), and whoever (Waman') acts (Ämila) righteous (Soalihan), then (Fa) they are preparing (Yam'haduun) for (Li) their souls (Anfusi-him'), https://thegreatkoran.com/30:44

لِیَجۡزِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ so that (Li) HE may reward (Yaj'ziya) those who (Ellaziina) have believed (Aamanu') and (Wa) done (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) from (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi). Indeed, HE (Innahu) does not (Laa) like (Yuhibbu) the disbelievers (El'Kaafiriin). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:45

وَمِنۡ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۤ أَن یُرۡسِلَ ٱلرِّیَاحَ مُبَشِّرَ ٰ⁠تࣲ وَلِیُذِیقَكُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجۡرِیَ ٱلۡفُلۡكُ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَلِتَبۡتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ And (Wa) among (Min') HIS signs 7 (Aayaati-hi) is that (An); HE sends (Yur'sila) the winds (Er'Riyaaha) as bringers of good news (Mubasshiraatin) so that (Wali) you may taste (Yuziiqa-kum) from (Min) HIS mercy (Rah'mati-hi) and that (Wali) ships (El'Ful'ku) may sail (Taj'riya) by (Bi) HIS command (Am'ri-hi) so that (Wali) you may seek (Tab'tagu') for (Min) HIS favour (Fad'li-hi), and perhaps you (Laällakum') will be thankful (Tash'kuruun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:46

وَلَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَاۤءُوهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَجۡرَمُوا۟ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَیۡنَا نَصۡرُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') sent (Ar'sal'naa) messengers (Rusulan) before you (s) (Min Qab'li-ka) to (ilaa) their people (Qaw'mi-him'), and (Fa) they brought them (Jaauu-hum Bi) proofs (El'Bayyinaati); then (Fa) We took vengeance on (Entaqam'naa Mina) those who (Ellaziina) did wrong (Aj'ramu'). It is (Kaana) incumbent on Us (Haqqan Älai'naa) to help (Nas'ru) the believers (El'Mu'miniin). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:47

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی یُرۡسِلُ ٱلرِّیَـٰحَ فَتُثِیرُ سَحَابࣰا فَیَبۡسُطُهُۥ فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ كَیۡفَ یَشَاۤءُ وَیَجۡعَلُهُۥ كِسَفࣰا فَتَرَى ٱلۡوَدۡقَ یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡ خِلَـٰلِهِۦۖ فَإِذَاۤ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦۤ إِذَا هُمۡ یَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ GOD (Ellahu) is the One who (Ellazii) sends (Yur'silu) the winds (Er'Riyaaha) to (Fa) agitate (Tuthiiru) the clouds (Sahaaban) and (Fa) spread them (Yab'sutu) in (Fii) the sky (Es'Samaai) however (Kai'fa) HE wills (Yashaau), and (Wa) HE makes them (Yaj'älu-hu) gloomy (Kisafan), then (Fa) you see (Taraa) the drizzle (El'Wad'qa) coming out (Yakh'ruju) of them (Min' Khilaali-hi). And (Fa) when (Izaa) HE causes it to come upon (Asoaba Bi-hi) whomever (Man) HE wills (Yashaau) among (Min') HIS servants (Ebaadi-hi), then (Izaa) they (Hum') rejoice (Yas'tab'shiruun), https://thegreatkoran.com/30:48

وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن یُنَزَّلَ عَلَیۡهِم مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمُبۡلِسِینَ although (Wa In) before (Min Qab'li An) it (the drizzle) was sent down (Yunazzala) upon them (Älai'him), they had been (Kaanu' La) in despair (Mub'lisiin) before it (Min Qab'li-hi). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:49

فَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰۤ ءَاثَـٰرِ رَحۡمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَیۡفَ یُحۡیِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۤۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَمُحۡیِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ So (Fa) scrutinize (Enzur' ilaa) the effects (Aathaari) of the mercy of GOD (Rah'mati-llahi); how (Kai'fa) HE revives (Yuh'yi) the earth (El'Ar'do) after (Ba'da) its lifelessness (Maw'ti-haa). Indeed (Inna), that (Zaalika) is (La) the reviver (Muh'yi) of the dead (El'Maw'taa). And (Wa) HE (Huwa) is capable of (Qadiir Älaa) all (Kulli) things (Shai'in). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:50

وَلَىِٕنۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا رِیحࣰا فَرَأَوۡهُ مُصۡفَرࣰّا لَّظَلُّوا۟ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ یَكۡفُرُونَ Indeed, if (La In') We should send (Ar'sal'naa) a wind (Riihan) and (Fa) they see it (Ra'aw'hu) become yellow (Mus'farraa), they would (La) continue (Zollu') to disbelieve (Yak'furuun) after such (Min Ba'di-hi). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:51

فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَلَا تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَاۤءَ إِذَا وَلَّوۡا۟ مُدۡبِرِینَ So (Fa) indeed, you (s) (Innaka) cannot (Laa) make the dead (El'Maw'taa) hear (-Tus'miu), nor (Walaa) can you make the deaf (Es'Summa) hear (-Tus'miu) the call (invitation) (Ed'Duää'a) when (Izaa) they turn away (Wallaw') retreating (Mud'biriin). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:52

وَمَاۤ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِ ٱلۡعُمۡیِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمۡۖ إِن تُسۡمِعُ إِلَّا مَن یُؤۡمِنُ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ And (Wa) you (s) (Anta) cannot (Maa Bi) guide (Haadi) the blind (El'Um'yi) from (Än) their error (Dolaalati-him'). Only (In illa) those who (Man) believe (Yu'minu) in (Bi) Our verses (Aayaati-naa) will hear (Tus'miu) and (Fa) they (Hum) are submitters (Mus'limuun). (27:81) https://thegreatkoran.com/30:53

۞ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن ضَعۡفࣲ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ضَعۡفࣲ قُوَّةࣰ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ قُوَّةࣲ ضَعۡفࣰا وَشَیۡبَةࣰۚ یَخۡلُقُ مَا یَشَاۤءُۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ ٱلۡقَدِیرُ GOD (Ellahu) is the One who (Ellazii) created you (Khalaqa-kum) from (Min) weakness (Do'fin), then (Thumma) made (Jaäla) after (Min Ba'di) weakness (Do'fin) strength (Quwwatan), then (Thumma) made (Jaäla) after (Min Ba'di) strength (Quwwatin) weakness (Do'fan) and (Wa) gray hair (Shai'batan). HE creates (Yakh'luqu) whatever (Maa) HE wills (Yashaau), for (Wa) HE (Huwa) is the OMNISCIENT (El' Äliimu), the OMNIPOTENT (El' Qadiir). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:54

وَیَوۡمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ یُقۡسِمُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ غَیۡرَ سَاعَةࣲۚ كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ كَانُوا۟ یُؤۡفَكُونَ And (Wa) the day (Yaw'ma) the Hour (Es'Saa'ätu) takes place (Taquumu), the criminals (El'Muj'rimuuna) will swear (Yuq'simu) they had only (Maa Gai'ra) lingered (Labithu') for an hour (Saa'ätin). Likewise (Kazaalika) have they been (Kaanu') lying (Yu'fakuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:55

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ وَٱلۡإِیمَـٰنَ لَقَدۡ لَبِثۡتُمۡ فِی كِتَـٰبِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَىٰ یَوۡمِ ٱلۡبَعۡثِۖ فَهَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ وَلَـٰكِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ But (Wa) those who (Ellaziina) were given (Uutu') the knowledge (El' il'ma) and faith (Wal' iimaana) will say (Qaala), "You had indeed (Laqad') lingered (Labith'tum') until (ilaa) the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mil' Ba'thi) according to (Fii) the register of GOD (Kitaabi-llahi), and (Fa) this (Haaza) is the Day of Resurrection (Yaw'mul' Ba'thi), but (Walaakinnakum) you did (Kuntum') not (Laa) know (Ta'lamuun)." https://thegreatkoran.com/30:56

فَیَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لَّا یَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ Thus (Fa) on that day (Yaw'maizin), the excuses (Ma'ziratu-) of those who (Ellaziina) have transgressed (Zolamu') will not (Laa) benefit (Yanfau) them (-hum’) nor (Walaa) will they (Hum') be considered (Yas'ta'tabuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:57

وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِی هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلࣲۚ وَلَىِٕن جِئۡتَهُم بِـَٔایَةࣲ لَّیَقُولَنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ إِنۡ أَنتُمۡ إِلَّا مُبۡطِلُونَ And (Wa) We have certainly (Laqad') cited (-Dorab'naa) in (Fii) this (Haaza) Koran (El'Qur'aani) from (Min) every (Kulli) example (Mathalin) for the people (Lin' Naasi), but (Wa) if (Lain) you (s) should bring them (Ji'ta-hum Bi) a verse (Aayatin), those who (Ellaziina) have disbelieved (Kafaruu') will (La) say (Yaquulanna), "You (p) (Antum') are only (In' illa) liars (Mub'tiluun)." كَذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ یَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یَعۡلَمُونَ Thus (Kazaalika) does GOD (Ellahu) seal (Yut'bau Älaa) the hearts (Quluubi) of those who (Ellaziina) do not (Laa) know (Ya'lamuun). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:59

فَٱصۡبِرۡ إِنَّ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقࣱّۖ وَلَا یَسۡتَخِفَّنَّكَ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُوقِنُونَ So (Fa) be patient (Es'bir'). Indeed (Inna), the promise of GOD (Wa'da-llahi) is true (Haqqun). And let not (Walaa) those who (Ellaziina) are not (Laa) certain (Yuuqinuun) disdain you (s) (Yas'takhiffannaka). https://thegreatkoran.com/30:60
