The Era سُورَةُ العَصۡرِ
﴾ ١ ﴿ وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
﴾ 1 ﴿
By (Wa) the era (El'Äs'r)*,
﴾ ٢ ﴿ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ لَفِی خُسۡرٍ
﴾ 2 ﴿
indeed (Inna), the human being (El' Insaana) is in (Lafii) loss (Khus'ri),
﴾ ٣ ﴿ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡا۟ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡا۟ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
﴾ 3 ﴿
except (illa) those who (Ellaziina) believe (Aamanu') and (Wa) do (Ämilu') good deeds (Es'Soalihaati) and (Wa) hand-down (Tawaasow') with (Bi) the truth (10:32) (El'Haqqi) and (Wa) hand-down (Tawaasow') with (Bi) patience (2:153) (Es'Sob'r).
