The Night سُورَةُ اللَّيۡلِ

  ١ وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ
 ﴾ 1 ﴿ By (Wa) the night (Ellai'li)* when (Izaa) it covers (Yag'shaa), (91:4)
  ٢ وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
 ﴾ 2 ﴿ and (Wa) the day (En'Nahaari) when (Izaa) it reveals (Tajallaa), (91:3)
  ٣ وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالْأُنْثَىٰ
 ﴾ 3 ﴿ and (Wa) that which (Maa) created (53:45) (Khalaqa) the male (Ez'Zakara) and the female (El'Unthaa).
  ٤ إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ
 ﴾ 4 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), your efforts (Sa'ya-kum') are (La) diverse (Shattaa).
  ٥ فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَاتَّقَىٰ
 ﴾ 5 ﴿ As for (Fa Amma) one who (Man') gave (A'toa) and (Wa) reverenced (Ettaqaa)
  ٦ وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَىٰ
 ﴾ 6 ﴿ and (Wa) gave credence to (Soddaqa Bi) goodness (El'Hus'naa),
  ٧ فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ
 ﴾ 7 ﴿ then (Fa) We will ease him (Sa Nuyassiru-hu) towards the ease (87:8) (Lil' Yus'raa).
  ٨ وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَىٰ
 ﴾ 8 ﴿ As for (Wa Amma) one who (Man) was stingy (Bakhila) and (Wa) gave up (Es'tag'naa)
  ٩ وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَىٰ
 ﴾ 9 ﴿ and (Wa) denied (Kazzaba Bi) goodness (El'Hus'naa),
  ١٠ فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَىٰ
 ﴾ 10 ﴿ thence (Fa) We will ease him (Sa Nuyassiru-hu) towards the hardship (Lil' Us'raa).
  ١١ وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰ
 ﴾ 11 ﴿ And (Wa) his wealth (Maalu-hu) will not (Maa) avail him (Yug'nii Än'hu) when (Izaa) he declines (Taraddaa).
  ١٢ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَىٰ
 ﴾ 12 ﴿ Indeed (Inna), upon Us (Älai'naa) is (La) the Guidance (2:38) (El'Hudaa).
  ١٣ وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلْآخِرَةَ وَالْأُولَىٰ
 ﴾ 13 ﴿ and (Wa) indeed (Inna), the hereafter (Lal' Aakhirata) and the first life (El'Uulaa) belongs to Us (Lanaa).
  ١٤ فَأَنْذَرْتُكُمْ نَارًا تَلَظَّىٰ
 ﴾ 14 ﴿ So (Fa) I (God) have warned you (p) (An'zar'tu-kum’) of a blazing (Talazzoa) fire (Naaran).
  ١٥ لَا يَصْلَاهَا إِلَّا الْأَشْقَى
 ﴾ 15 ﴿ None (Laa) will burn therein (Yas'laa-haa) except (illa) the most wretched (El'Ash'qaa),
  ١٦ الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
 ﴾ 16 ﴿ who (Ellazii) denied (Kazzaba) and (Wa) turned way (Tawallaa).
  ١٧ وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الْأَتْقَى
 ﴾ 17 ﴿ But (Wa) the most pious (49:13) (El'At'qaa) will shield from it (Sa Yujannabu-ha),
  ١٨ الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
 ﴾ 18 ﴿ who (Ellazii) gives (Yu'tii) his wealth (Maala-hu) to purify (himself) (Yatazakkaa),
  ١٩ وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِنْدَهُ مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَىٰ
 ﴾ 19 ﴿ and (Wa) not (Maa) for (Li) someone (Ahadin) next to him (Enda-hu) to repay (Tuj'zaa) with (Min) a favour (Ni'matin)
  ٢٠ إِلَّا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الْأَعْلَىٰ
 ﴾ 20 ﴿ except (illa) seeking (Eb'tigaa'a) the countenance (76:9) (Waj'hi) of his LORD (Rabbi-hi), the Highest (87:1) (El' A'laa).
  ٢١ وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَىٰ
 ﴾ 21 ﴿ And (Wa) he will surely be (La Saw'fa) pleased (Yar'doa).
